“ so, i heard about the thing. the pregnancy thing. jungwoo told me that you’re the father,” riley explains, a slight frown etching into his features, wondering if jungwoo told his alpha about the argument that transpired between them after he was given the news. “ i guess i should say ‘congrats’? i mean, i don’t know if you’re happy about it and all. just... wanted to know if you’re still into being our drummer, because i get that your life has changed drastically since the last time we talked.”  // @disfunctionaltm​

“I was away during the festival actually; I took a holiday and went swimming in California. It was either take the paid time at work or lose it so I put it to good use.” Knox gave a pleasant enough smile, small talk was easy. “And you? What have you been up to since then?”

“You know, I thought the whole thing about firefighters saving cats from trees was just some kind of joke,” a laugh escaped Callum as he peered down at the mess of orange fur in his arms. The poor little thing had done a number on his hands with its claws. But with a little patience and some soft cooing, the Alpha had managed to coerce the small kitten out of the tree it had gotten itself stuck in. “Looks like there’s no collar, though. I should check with the clinic and see if this little guy is chipped.”

“Don’t say anything.” Were the first words that came from Rae’s mouth, eyes closed as the smell of acrylic paint grew stronger by the second. That was thanks to the palette that had slipped from her hand and fell onto her lap. Unfortunately, the side with the paint landed directly onto her skirt, causing the beta to frown. “Geez.” She muttered out, lifting the palette off of her skirt to put it on the table near her. “Could you knock next time? You know I don’t pick up on scents as well as others.” Mirae couldn’t help but whine. Even for a beta, sometimes she barely caught on to certain scents. Given the smell of the paint, she couldn’t tell the other was there until she heard them. 

“ fancy running into you here, in a sex shop of all places,” ellis pats the other on the back, a teasing grin curving his lips as they turn around to face him, looking a little flustered. “ just fyi, the knotting toys are on aisle three, and they’re 25% off right now. i can show you, if you want?” // @disfunctionaltm​ 

“ i think you mentioned in our last session that you wanted to talk about your parents,” damian recalls, scribbling down something in his notebook. it was his last patient of the day, a day that just seemed never ending. “ they aren’t currently a part of your life, correct? ”
