Everybody has fears and/or disbelieves. Some people have normal fears and disbelieves such as the dark or clowns, or homosexuality or sex before marriage. Some people have abnormal fears and disbelieves, like technology and elephants. Some people don't have any fears at all, or belief in everything and anything in the world. My best friend is literally terrified of clowns. Like, if you so much as mention the word, she punches you in the face. With a book. Probably after setting it on fire. My little brother, who's 10, is terrified of being left alone. He's afraid if he's left alone, he's being abandoned. I mean, he's 10. Every child under the age of, like, 12 is afraid of being left alone. I've been staying home by myself since I was at least 8 or 9, maybe longer, but I don't really remember. It usually wasn't on purpose though. I was freaked out abut it at first, but I adjusted to it pretty fast. So now I'd rather be home alone than any of my family be home with me. Mainly so I can be my weird self that I prefer to be when I'm alone. Like when I'm alone, I dance around a lot and sing really loudly and off-key and jam out on my guitar and it sounds like something's dying, but you can't help but laugh hysterically at it. Now, at the age of 17, I have a fear of heights because I'm so short, and I like being close to the ground. A little bit of info as to why that is, I'm 4'11 and I actually look shorter half the time. My other fear is wiener dogs. I got bit by one when I was 10, and he never really liked me before that, and he left this huge black and blue and other colored mark right below my left knee that took up, like, half of my knee. I also have a disbelief in spoons. I don't really use them except for eating ice cream and cereal. Like, if someone were to hand me a spoon to eat, like, corn or something, I would most likely throw it at them, and tell them to bring me a fork. I probably have thrown a spoon at somebody. Some people have a fear of never getting married and dying alone, which I think is a ridiculous fear by the way, but that's just me. Another one of my friends that I've had since freshman year is afraid his dad might be dying. Everybody has fears that are normal and pretty unusual. They're just like believes. Some people have them, and some people don't. They're a part of life. I've seen people being made fun of for their fears and disbelieves. I walked around school for half of 8th grade with a sign on my back that said I don't believe in God. I don't, but that's no reason to put a sign on my back. Tons of people don't believe in God, and nobody puts a sign on their back. Of course some people flaunt their antichrist methods more than I do, and I'm the one that got a sign on my back. Some people are still afraid of the dark when they're, like, 80. My dad just turned 32, and he runs every time he sees a spider. It's funny, but it's true. I don't always hold it against him unless it's a small spider the size of a screw. My point is everybody has fears, and everybody has something they don't believe in. Sometimes people out out them or face them, or they believe it when they see it. Or in my case, believe it when spoons become more useful than a fork. So, if someone struggles with a fear, help them through it. If someone doesn't believe in something, don't make fun of them for it, or don't hold it against them. Just say "okay, that's you, that's what you think, that's your own personal opinion."
