#disabled knitter

finished my 'forest fronds' slouched beanie :-) this is in 70% baby alpaca and 30% silk and u can really see the shine .. I made some modifications to the pattern , I was using worsted so I ended 1½ repeat early , and I took off a row of decreases + added a row of purls to the end to give it a pointer top , and I changed from k1p1 ribbing to k2p2 which I regret tbh I think it looks a little funny but it's okay . I'm also glad it's immediately recognized as a lesbian hat lolol, ij wanted to throw together a quick cover for bad hair days 🙂‍↕️. overall good pattern and I would reccomend it , more pics under the cut !

there are some issues, but theyre small and its the first item of clothing ive knitted so ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

it also looks much better when actually being worn lol

progress on my asphodel lace scarf !!! I'm doing pretty okay for retraining my hands and having huge limitations :) and its looking just like the picture !! so pretty !!

ayyy i finished the first half of my sweater vest!!

the tension is a little bit fucky in the colourwork, but idrm because the stretchiness is always going to be a bit weird considering the transition from fairly intricate colourwork to plain knitting. i imagine it will look much better with the ribbing too.

i think im gonna take a break from this pattern for a bit before starting the back, so i dont get burnt out and lose motivation.

Finished hat! Still needs to be blocked, and it's shorter than I expected it to be judging by the look of it, but I'm hoping blocking will help with that and get it to stay over my ears.
