I have to make an appreciation post for this girl right here. She has been an essential part of my college experience She took great initiative in making sure I had a firm foundation and a solid platform to work off of to begin this semester. I don't often open up on social media about the stress and challenges of going to college with a disability, but Hollie Bevis always strives to take that stress off my back in any way that she can. Yesterday, she worked morning and night with NO COMPLAINTS, cleaning my entire apartment, helping me organize my room, and get things ready in mint condition. She has completely reshaped the quality of care I recieve, and has helped me to have greater standards for the quality of care I accept. Whether it be waking up at 3am to fix my pillow or leaving in the middle of a class lecture so I can use the bathroom, she is always there for me and going above and beyond in all she does. There's a reason she was given best emotional support. She is so much more than a PCA, she is one of my best friends who I know I can ask for anything and it will be done right. Including the shit that nobody else wants to do!!! (sorry girl). Coming across somebody like Hollie does not happen often, it is a true gift. I'm so grateful for her and I hope that anybody who needs someone to assist in their care will find a Hollie one day that will help them get the best care possible ♡ @holllie.b I love you! From the heart of my bottom, thank you for everything! #cpstruggles #disabilityeducation #disabilitystruggles #disabilityawareness #ceeplife #pcaappreciation #friendappreciation #college #sophomore #sophomoreyear #collegesophomore #collegelife #collegestruggles
