Inspired to make this by @/mayvora on tumblr (they did a version of this first go check them out)

Tax, torchflower, and mutiny are my actual favorite duos but i’d already drawn most of those characters so i went with devious duo instead because who knows how much longer thats gonna be a thing :)

(Bracing for spoke to drop his next video and have mapicc slime him for faking jamato’s death :P)

Also yes! Flame is my favorite protagonist, please watch his entire pov if you havent already (see: my previous rants about racism in the mcyt community and people judging flame based on his appearances in other povs instead of his own) (also his training arc is one of my favorite arcs of the whole show) (plus his character arc is the best developed to date imo even though he joined an entire season late)

King Parrot’s design isnt my favorite favorite but honestly thats more because I havent drawn these characters enough to have an actual favorite design. I included him mostly because I wanted to draw all of the protagonists and while I love the cartwings dynamic, thatd mean spoke would be in the favorite design slot and I havent developed my spoke design enough to justify that (I do plan on updating my design for him in the future tho)

Did you notice Parrot looking at Wifies while Wifies is looking at the viewer?

The devious duo background is supposed to look like the end portal bc of my spoke origin hc (and i honestly didnt know what else to do for it

Flame and Wemmbu both have reddish backgrounds to mirror each other. Wemmbu’s bg is inspired by this piece by @/vi0letgoldfish (go drop them a follow!)
