21) Tell me about another writer(s) who you admire? What is it about them that you admire?

this will come as a shock to absolutely no one, but of course it is stutter. when i read BAYCC i was in the bath and i didn’t notice the water getting cold around me or that i was covered in goosebumps because that incredible, perfect, miraculous story tangled me up in its grip and the world carried on without me for a little while. 

not only is her characterisation perfect, her humour unfairly spot on, and her writing poetic and gorgeous, but she is also warm and kind and good. she is generous with her enormous talent, always willing to talk out even the most minute and inconsequential plot tangles. there is no ego with her, she is effusive with praise and her concrit is so well-considered that it just makes you go duh, of course, it was always supposed to be exactly that.

33) What’s the biggest compliment you’ve gotten?

all of the reviews on ficon were so amazing, i put so much of my heart into that story and i was so glad it was received so well, but one does stand out in particular. actual real life angel @mia-ugly always leaves the kindest, most intelligent and poetic reviews and this one is just gorgeous:

I think I’ve said it before about “in each place and forever” but there’s this sunshiney nostalgia to your Trixya - your writing makes me feel like I’m somewhere in love on a gorgeous day, just a bit too warm out, just a bit sunburned, but who fucking cares because I’m going to live forever and I’m with a beautiful girl.

yeah i mean i wasn't really sure what to expect at all but i had a really good time so i'm glad i went!!! (:

honestly totally lucked out on the weather though but it was like supposed to be really warm and we happened to get a shadier spot, but people in the parade were like throwing water bottles on people and super soaking them so it was nice unLESS YOU WERE IN THE SHADE AND DIDNT NEED TO GET SHOT IN THE FACE WITH A BLAST OF WATER
