I think the real reason why humans can’t stop portraying dinosaurs as Horrific Movie Monsters instead of the real animals they were is because so many of them would have looked extremely cute in real life, and humanity could never live with itself knowing so many absolutely adorable and wonderful creatures once walked the Eart but are now completely gone, forever.
I just wanted to point out that there is absolutely nothing that stops Roman and Remus from having actual dinosaurs in the Imagination.
And I’m not saying that Remus would happily create the most ferocious or weird-looking ones for Logan to observe and study, because he remembered that he had a dinosaur phase years ago (it was very much not a phase). I just strongly imply that he would do that.
