But Oliver was stuck on something else. "What do you mean they won't notice us?" Percy shrugged. "Sometimes my parents forget one of us." Like it was the most normal thing in the world. You’ll know where my brain’s been recently, but Jack and Ianto as rival spies for the same organization who have been assigned to go undercover as a married couple and they HATE IT. It’s literally the worst. Jack thinks Ianto’s uptight and unwilling to bend rules, Ianto thinks Jack is sloppy and gets no actual work done. Then they both get cornered by enemy agents, and they’re back to back, firing off their guns and just bickering and flirting with each other. (And of course they end up in bed together at the end.)

4. give me a character headcanon! Answered this here, but I’ll give another and say that Ianto and Owen have the sort of passionate tastes in music where they like bands that--to an outsider--might seem fairly similar, but to them are incredibly different and each person thinks that obviously they have much better taste than the other. But whenever they can agree on a band.........oh boy. Watch out. Nothing else is getting played in the SUV or the medbay for a week or more

1. What’s your favourite fix-it trope?

I absolutely love that fic where you went: "yep, Ianto survived Children of Earth! How? Who cares?" :-D

My favourite fix-it trope is a very new one and not used much because it involves something that happens in Blind Summit that could be a way to fix Ianto's death. I'm not going to say more because of spoilers but I think everyone who’s listened to this story knows what I'm talking about.

2. Best episode or piece of extended material that you think is underrated?

Oh, that's a hard one! This fandom has good taste so people love the great ones. :-D

Looking back at the surveys I did during the summer, I'm always a bit surprised that a lot of the fandom isn't that big on The Lives of Captain Jack (not so much in not liking as in not being interested) even though it relates some important milestones in Jack's life (and it often makes me cry).

Other stories that I love and that I don't see a lot of people talking about: the monthlies with Bilis Manger and The Sins of Captain John.

And I'll promote Ghost Train to anyone who would listen.

I started by saying this was a hard one and I ended up not being able to pick just one. *sighs*

Aargh...I'm so bad at fic recs! Well I don't know if this is cheating but there's "Ianto's Not Dead in This One" by you that I mentioned in the first question. :-D

I went through my tags searching for inspiration and I found this in my review for Expectant:

I want stories where Ianto finally crashes big time after all this [meaning the end of series 2 and Expectant] and the others finally allow him the time to grieve. But, in my defence (if a defence is needed), hurt/comfort is my favourite kind of fic. Fanfic writers, consider this a prompt! :-)

1: I love immortal ianto as a fix it! How he became immortal is irrelevant just him waking up after coE and scaring Gwen and Jack and living the rest of his immortal life happy and healthy!
