So after about 15 hours of getting 100% on Dinocop, I really like the writing and gameplay / mechanics progression, I do have one or two pet peeves
In the final confrontation during the "Meet in the Middle" debate where you can try to expose Jan, the police come in and using video evidence of you in the hotel they show footage of you A) Breaking into a room that isn't yours (plot necessary) and B) Stealing money from a drawer (something players do by instinct and you can be guaranteed to do on your first playthrough).
I thought it was neat, but also assumed the second bit of footage used was hinting at a different cutscene/version of the ending if you don't steal money. So I did a second playthrough where I didn't steal any money. I just recycled trash, and killed spiders to get the required amount of money to beat the game.
And then the cutscene played out the same. Which was a bit disappointing. I wasn't expecting a wholly different ending, but I thought it would've been nice if there could've been some kind of difference.
