Sharp-tongue, curious mind - perhaps too dangerous of a combination to be roaming around Wonderland, ferrymen and bartenders warn, something akin to pity in their eyes. The streets have not birthed you, and your foreign footsteps only makes the city hungry when it watches you pry into its insides. Lucky perhaps, people would say, that you are one of the few that has not grown up calling Wonderland home. Foolish, they continue, to see that you have made the wrong choice to stay. The city will bury you in its grime, and what little words you manage to spit out in your lifetime will mean nothing to it anyways. If there is a story you wish to tell, then know that Wonderland will only whisper its secrets for too high of a price to pay.
