Hi Marmar! Do you think Levi only went along with the goals of Erwin and Hange instead of having goals of his own?
Hello :) Sorry for taking me so long to answer. No, I don’t think he only went along with Erwin’s and Hange’s goals, instead of having goals on his own. He distinctly respected and admired Erwin and Hange, and entrusted himself to their judgement and plans, when it came to the big picture. Carrying out his comrades' legacy, giving meaning to their life, then, was a fundamental part of Levi’s character, from the beginning till the end. But this doesn’t equate to saying he only fought for humanity because other people (Erwin, Hange, or anybody else) demanded him to. Fighting for humanity, to build a better world where everybody could live free and in peace, was something deeply rooted in the kind of person Levi’s always been. In the Underground, the best he could do was fight for his own survival, and to protect the closest person to him. But once in the Survey Corps, he realized he could put his strength at the service of something that much greater, to humanity. Levi wasn’t driven by dreams of knowledge and discovering the truth about their world like Erwin and Hange were, but he deeply valued human life. He truly cared for his comrades, he experienced genuine grief for their loss. He argued in favor of Historia to help her build orphanages, he proposed to Dimo Reeves a pact whereby citizens of Trost wouldn’t have fallen into misery. He saved Ramzi, when that action could have put them all in danger. He was so angry with Eren, because he had forced them into that attack in Liberio where so many people needlessly died. He kept on fighting till his last, to stop that massacre, and save the rest of humanity from the Rumbling. Levi’s goal to fight for humanity always was rooted in his compassion, his empathy, his valuing every human life. Because of these reasons, he selflessly committed himself to that goal.

just realized Annie probably knows about historias pregnancy maybe if Armin talked about it to her while she was crystalized but reiner doesn't know but I really feel like eren knew this while setting this up in addition to extending her life temporarily until they wanted to turn her into a titan but I imagine he would be the most pissed in the CORRECT way about this?? I know they really didnt have much else to do but eren threatening to erase historias mind unless she got pregnant was like ?!?!?!? I think it really was just a farmer but we saw how sad and empty she was while even approaching the dude ...let her be gay in peace please....ymir did not die for this............. anways I think eren is either playing something and does actually have a plan but he ALSO is not implementing things in a way a leader would hes a true usurper and its inch resting because rewatching this show sets up eren as someone who really doesn't have any resolve and is really insecure but reiner (and every other character tbh) has always shown resolve and for the healthy, sustainable , CORRECT reasons even while struggling to come to terms with their actions and decisions . I think eren does intend to kill ALL the titans but he might have some way to do it without killing the current inheritors? idk I just know reiner will really loose his shit when he finds out historia had to suffer this much
this also reminds me of mikasas actions when she stood against dimo Reeves and said the life of a few for the many can sometimes be the right call....HIALLO this is her resolve come to smack her inthe face and she now faces that very decision in 138 and im NOT READY!

Are there any characters besides the veterans that you enjoy/like/ love? And why?
Yes, there are lots of other characters I like, though the Veterans will always hold a special place in my heart.
I’m a big fan of Connie because he speaks his mind and he speaks for many of us. He’s honest and he’s loyal and I hope he gets to avenge his village and his family. I like Colt and Falco, because how could you not? I sympathise with Reiner because he’s such a well developed character and he’s caught in such a the hellish situation. I like(d) Dimo and Flegel Reeves and Roy and Peaure because of the important role they played in the Uprising Arc. I love Historia because she’s awesome, and Ymir because she’s a disaster. I adored Kenny, (but only when he wasn’t trying to kill Levi), because he’s such a ridiculous badass. And I love Pieck because she’s smart, brave and perceptive, and I fancy the pants off her.
