the heart of a doll - kou/alice

Finding the building was certainly quite an adventure to the blond vampire, pushing his annoyance further. Why did that person really have to dump him in the middle of nowhere and left him to look for the apartment building himself? Karl Heinz had a large collection of familiars that could help his son out for once but of course, that person just had to make things difficult for him.
Shaking his head in utter incredulity, Kou used the key that was found in the box he woke up to in pursuit of unlocking the door to what he assumed was his apartment. He was already informed about having a certain roommate and at this point, he just wished this girl was as foolishly naive as M Neko-chan. At least he'd be able to suck her blood no matter what she tastes like.
With a cautious flow, Kou pushed the door open and peeked inside.
What the hell? He closed the door again, had a brief moment of hesitance, then pushed the door open once more to be welcomed by the sight of porcelain dolls adorning every corner of the room-- their creepy soulless eyes staring into nothing. Was this some kind of sick joke? Who the hell could live like this? If he finds these kinds of dolls in the bathroom, heads will certainly roll. The vampire pursed his lips skeptically before stepping in.
"Hello? Anybody home?"
