The effort to rebuild the city was proceeding at a slow, mechanical pace. Steady, but uncertain fingers brought the bow across the strings as he searched for a sound, completely unsurprised when what he found was a shrill squeak like a rusted door hinge. A weary squint saw the girl standing not too far away from him, likely unimpressed by his performance.

I'll take that for what it's worth then. Which room?" The girl pointed and Evan moved. Once the door to the room opened, and he saw who was waiting, he knew why it had been special request. Blinking a few times, he stepped in and placed the folder on the table before he sat before her. "Hello...."
