People once looked in mirrors to check themselves—now the mirror looks back with numbers. Beauty has become measurable, and measurement has become identity. Likes, comments, filters: each one a vote on who deserves to be seen. But the more we quantify beauty, the less we understand it. The human face was never meant to be a leaderboard.
昔は鏡を見るのは「自分を確かめるため」だったのに、 今は鏡の方が数字を返してくる。 美しさは測れるものになり、測定がその人の価値になった。 いいね、コメント、フィルター。 可視化されるたびに、人は「見られる資格」を試される。 けれど数値化された美の中で、本当の美はますます見えなくなっていく。 人の顔は、順位表になるためにあるわけじゃない。
