I'm making my chapters longer 5K words each. No more of them lil baby chappies. My chapters cannot flow in such a short format, I can't work with 2K words a chapter. My stories would end up way too short or I'd need like a crazy amount of chapters to write my story to completion. It's too choppy it's too scattered, trying to put so much emphasis on how to hook a reader into another chapter when it's not even nearing an endpoint in my mind where it would transition into the next. I don't like Wattpad's demand for extremely short chapters. Wild idea, maybe make a digital bookmark so readers can stop anywhere they want and come back exactly where they stopped. That would fix it so authors don't have to make their chapters so short. Seriously, is that hard? Why is it 2024 and physical books are whooping y'all's digital asses in this department?
