Okay so wasn't expecting them to go armor evos especially without the egg or d terminals needed. It's like they put canon in a blender and hit puree. Though I do love how they're being more flexible with evo lines like in cyber sleuth where they weren't completely linear and had a whole tree. Like if you wanted a dianamon you'd could get one with gotsumon who had her as one of it's possible evos. Patamon did need a more reliable evo than angemon anyway with the more action focused story which brings me to my next topic.

Seriously, give these kids a break! They haven't gotten a signal breather and have been none stop fighting. They could really use some filler episodes with light heartedness where they're not having something trying to kill them 24/7. They went a bit over board on emphasizing the whole 'our war game' motif imo.

On another note though, can't wait to see gatomon and angewomon soon. We saw the dark digimon making seraphimon into blackseraphimon. Will they do the same with ophanimon and show us her fall down mode or lillithmon?

Also, I like how older digimon like fangmon and eaglemon are getting more spotlight which paves the way for more interesting episodes. I'd like to see more filler episodes with underrated mons in the spotlight like the olympus 12, Darcmon, valkyrimon etc. maybe a queenchessmon kingdom theme mimi focused ep referencing the of princess mimi ep, the gang meeting the five bancho digimon with maybe leomon evolving into bancholeomon through training with them, or maybe a petermon, hookmon, and tinkermon episode with takeru and hikari.

They could even bring back more fan favs like impmon and Beelzemon who rebels against the dark digimon since they tried killing weak human kids and rookie digimon which goes against his whole principles of not targeting the weak and he's never a bad guy, more of an anti-hero. They've got a lot of potential!
