for virus, i gotta go with my boy vorvomon, with their standard evo line! i love this little volcano dragon guy with all my heart! theyre just so fiesty! if i were to play with them in a digi-destiny-esque campaign, id probably play a more nerdy, up tight person, and the arc would be my character loosening up more and more and vorvomon learning to control their energy

for data, call me basic for choosing vorvomon's rival, but id go for jazamon with their standard evo line! jazamon give me the vibe of an introvert whos really good at computers but doesnt get out much. my character would be someone who is maybe more extroverted but reckless, so the arc would be pretty similar to vorvomon's, just vice versa for the character and the digimon

Adam watched from the sidelines, amused, as he saw his friends interact with the newer group of DigiDestined.

Maikah was scolding a nervous Grayson, as Terriermon cackled and stumbled along with Zubamon in his sword form. Blake was chatting with a curious ER as Sammi braided his hair, their partners interjecting occasionally. Leon was nodding as Diogo showed him his sketchbook, pointing out things and smiling while Floramon gifted Kiddonimon a flower crown. Sophie seemed to be explaining something to Reiner and Gary, as Bokomon ran from Impmon and Magimon, holding his bug facts book over his head.

Keramon curled up in the tree above him, currently gnawing on a device he had brought. He chuckled, leaning back and letting himself relax. This was pretty nice.

Footsteps approached him, and he looked in their direction, spotting a familiar monkey-like Digimon with a flaming tail heading towards him.

"Flamemon. Remember who I am?"

"Yo. And uh, not really. Sorry."

He shrugged. "It's fine. It's Adam. Adam Bastion."

"Right. Nice to meet you again, Adam."

Flamemon took a seat at the base of the tree, shooting Keramon a curious and cautious glance. Keramon stuck his tongue out, grinning as he continued to gnaw on the laptop.

"So, where's your partner?"

Flamemon did not answer, nor did he react. But Adam could have sworn he saw the mon freeze, expression unreadable as he turned to face the DigiDestined.

"...He's... not around, anymore," Flamemon said slowly, not meeting Adam's eyes. He frowned, concerned. "What do you mean by that?"

"..."

Flamemon looked away.

"...What was his name?"

The Digimon sucked in a breath, scratching the back of his head. "Riot."

Adam's eyes widened. "'Riot'?"

Flamemon nodded, confused as he saw the shock growing on the man's face. "Yeah?"
