A little Background
As Edna Mode says, “I don’t think about the past, it distracts from the now”
so I won’t go into too much background but here are the most basic of basics.
I studied Archaeology and Public Health at UCSD so I love history and examining how communities are formed. If I could have triple majored, I would have added psychology but UCSD kicked me out after 2.
I’ve done one archeology dig in Peru and have volunteered at the San Diego archeology foundation so I’ll definitely be doing some throwbacks of those events and hopefully, I can do more archeology in the future. My focus was on rituals and ritual sacrifices.
When I was little I wanted to be Lara Croft...
.. but then I realized that I have no arm strength haha so I’m working on that now before I go climbing through temples.
As for the Public Health... in addition to being an explorer growing up, I also wanted to be a pediatrician but medical school didn’t really fit into my life.
So I found a way that I can learn about helping people by altering their environment and their habits so we can all live healthier, happier, longer lives.
I love to volunteer, paint, read, be active (i.e. hike, surf, walk around town), and make Snapchat stories that are way too long.
Eventually I’ll be making some videos to put up here but for now, you’re stuck with my text *hehehe*
