#dice problems

For some unknown reason, in one of the tabletop rpgs I play in, my character consistently rolls no higher than a 13. Even when it's combat, and I have to roll multiple D20's for each of their attacks, I never hit. They have the potential to deal so much damage if only I ever rolled high enough. I've tried every dice I own, I've tested my dice to see if they are weighted wrong, and the thing I've discovered is that I only ever roll bad when I play that character. When I play literally any other character, I roll perfectly fine. I think I'm cursed.

ok guys super important questions guys: when you’re putting your dice biggest side up (showing the 20 on your d20, the 8 on your d8, etc) do you put your d10s and/or percentile dice on the 90/9 or the 00/0 side?

I don’t even wanna think about how much money I’ve spent on dice....
