hey... no matter what: dont think about steve & rachel being insane for each other in every (healthy) way imaginable.

dont think about steve drawing her every chance he gets & thinking about talking to her at 3am bc he couldnt sleep and he couldnt stop thinking about her. dont think about rachel fretting all over her apartment, wondering if she was the right woman for steve, wondering if she was right in any of her decisions leading up to the relationship, & wondering how would steve feel about any of it.

dont think about steve confessing his love for her during a highly stressful situation but she wasnt there to hear it, scared shitless for the second time in his life over a woman he loves dearly, not knowing whether shes safe or not, not knowing where she is. dont think about her having to break up with the man she wanted for so long simply bc she was promised she'd be given a cure for his illness (at the time). dont think about steve looking out the window, mournfully, wondering why she did what she did...

dont think about how she was so scared that he'd hate her for killing someone but instead he just accepted her. told her he'd stand right by her side whatever the outcome may be.

dont think about how, despite being in disguise, he still recognizes her lips. specially that one—dont ever think about it.

just... dont do it. youll be hit with a physically painful wave of pure yearning for what these two have. and what they couldve been.

I think Rachel is ambivalent on strawberry flavoured things but Steve is constantly buying her drinks and snacks and whatever else that is strawberry because it's pink and she's pink and she hasn't got the heart to tell him she'd like something a little more savory yet.
