Reposted from @verseone In 2006, while hunting for wallpapers of my sneaker grail, the @diamondsupplyco x @nikesb dunk, I came across photos of the Celeste @bianchibicycles Pista Concept... it had twin aerospokes and it was the first time I had seen a fixed gear bike ever. I remember thinking “damn, what happened to the gears?! It looks like a big bmx bike!!” At that moment I fell in love and knew someday I want both. A few years later I finally had the opportunity to get the Tiffany dunks, which I’ve kept (and used as my wedding shoe). When quarantine started, I rekindled my love for fixed gear bikes, building, flipping, and most importantly - riding. Somehow... this happened. I’ve been hoarding specific parts for a super build build for a while now (s/o @kris_naz for the Sugino 75s and @crisone for the HED front and Charge saddle) and by fate, the frame came up for sale (s/o to @javiersomething for that 10pm fb message link 😘) it finally has come together. With all that being said, even in the midst of all this craziness in the world, don’t forget that you should never give up on your dreams. Stay passionate about things and people you love.
