We hiked Diamond Hill in Connemara National Park; started off misty and cloudy with poor visibility, but it cleared nicely as the hike went on. Polladirk Valley from Diamond Hill Sunday was a real #seatosummit kinda day for us. After an extended swim at Traugh and a lovely breakfast in #keoghsofkinvara we decided to climb #diamondhill in #connemaranationalpark . When we arrived at the peak the sun was still quite high in the sky throwing deep and interesting looking shadows on #polladirkvalley with majestic views of some of the #twelvebens. A very rare view of Connemara’s mountains with a deep blue sky. Connemara Sheep TGIF ... not that it would make much of a difference ... I took this image some time ago near the top of Diamond Hill. I was blessed with beautiful morning light and clear skies in absolute silence. I felt blessed being all by myself for a few hours, just me, my camera and the hills. Strange how times are changing.
