Fredrick used to have strict parents. His parents were so strict that they used to hit his arms with a ruler. Thats why he wears two sets of gloves on his arms two black long ones and white normal gloves. His hands are cold so he normally doesn't feel the pain cause his hands are numb. But he is very insecure of them, so he overworks himself to try to ignore it. This is very unhealthy but it has become a habit after he moved in with Stanley. When Stanley found this out when they were in highschool he had a fight with his parents and Fred ended up moving in with Stanley. He is also trans. So that clears up how he gave birth to Stacy and Ben. Carter, Cannon, Stacy and Ben always try to cheer him up. Considering they know about this. Carter and Cannon were directly told this, while Ben and Stacy heard this. So they almost always trying to get their dad to stop overworking himself. When Stanley notices he is overworking himself he makes sure to pick up Fredrick(in a bridal style ofcourse) and places him on the sofa and tell him this is unhealthy. Fredrick also doesn't get proper sleep most often. So you will almost always see him overworking himself or sleeping on the couch or laying his head on the kitchen counter to sleep. Everyone in the house is very kind to him considering they know about his past too.

The grandfather clock stood before her, in the living room, the funeral over. Maybe, just maybe, she cared a little more then she dared to admit.
