ok ok, but the reason why i will NEVER accept hum dil de chuke sanam and dhadkan’s endings is because they both had the uwu traditional rich brown men literally DOMESTICATE the women so that they would ‘forget’ their first loves. nandini was basically half-dead inside when she married vanraj. anjali was literally crying herself into a panic attack during her wedding. both of them were FORCED into their marriages, AND FOR WHAT!? BC SAMEER WAS MIXED AND ADHERED TO WESTERN CUSTOMS, AND NOT A PUREBLOOD BROWN LIKE VANRAJ!? BECAUSE DEV WAS POOR WHILE RAM HAD MILLIONS!?
