im enthralled by the way graham jones weaves in traditional european vampire lore in with his own take on native american vampirism. like this guy wants to eat a little girl, echoing back to decades of vampires eating virgins, meanwhile good stab’s like bro???? it’s the over-the-top clownery of the european vampire on blackfeet soil. it’s eradicating an entire band just to eat one little girl when eating that band would have sustained this guy for long enough to hunt elsewhere.
