Well this is bullshit
I put on a new sensor this afternoon before coming into work, and I am actually in disbelief right now... ITS ALREADY FUCKING LOOSE!!!! So that means I’m gonna tear it off and put one on tomorrow evening after supper.

Nearing the end of the 10 day period
So I have had this problem for the past three times I’ve worn my Dexcom. Everything will be normal until a week after I apply it or close to 10 days (the period in which you can wear a sensor before having to change it). No matter where I put it,whether on my guy or my arm (I prefer the arm), the thing will lose its adhesive material and fall off. It’s happened twice. Once when I was at home just playing my bass, and the second time was actually at work and I had to keep it in my pocket as secure as possible. There was a third time where it was about to come off and I just ripped it off my arm. Didn’t wear it for almost two weeks after that. So far it’s holding on, but I’m gonna be pretty pissed if it falls off early again. I might start using tape again, but this time I’ll use duct tape, because fuck it that’s why.
The infamous “Signal Loss Alert” when it’s practically impossible for such to occur
If the title doesn’t say it all, I don’t know what the hell to tell you. I love the Dexcom, but I get pissed when I get a notification saying “Signal Loss Alert,” because 9 times out of 10, my phone is within less than a foot of my sensor. I can carry the little meter device and still get the same damn thing happen. It’s aggravating, and I don’t know if there’s anything I can do about it. I’ve even had moments where just a bump from my car door (my car sits pretty low) will knock it out for a few minutes. I can understand if I’m like 30 feet away from my phone, but not when it’s almost right next to it. Heck, I’ve even had my phone right on top of the sensor and still get a “Signal Loss “ text.
So yeah, that’s my first rant down, and a bajillion more to come.
