If Toiras wouldāve been a bit old, then so wouldāve Richelieu. XD Historically speaking, they were peers. Both were born in 1585, when La Rochelle happened they had 42 years. Real life Treville was 13 years younger than both of them.
The age gap between BBC Treville and Richelieu, based on the actorsā real ages is *a quick peak into my notes* 11 years, when the season 1 aired, Capaldi was 56 and Speer 45. I chose that as a base and just keep using it.
