*parts, in this context, is in reference to an individual identity in a collective that may have dissociative identity disorder, other specified dissociative disorder, or any other kind of condition where the physical body is shared by multiple individuals in some format. other terms that may be used include alters, headmates, and sysmates, but some collectives use other terminology, too.
(apologies to other plural users if that explanation is subpar, i wanted to try to explain it as clearly as possible for singlets/nonsystems who are unfamiliar with the terminology. exclusion is not my goal here as this is a poll about tagging and if it bothers people who post original/fan content lol)
