Plot Update:

Rumors have been traveling fast, but what else would anybody expect in a place as crowded and seemingly crawling with loads of juicy secrets. Of course, this wasn’t something the staff wanted the Deviants to know just yet. The gossip around the latest arrival at the program is that a new area is being worked on, and the under construction signs have gone up overnight. Crews with certification are building the latest in danger AI technology, under the approval of the program. Its adaptable mechanisms work in analyzing a Deviant’s moves, abilities, and strategies to refocus on providing a more complex training room. The only catch; there’s been word that the so-called training room is going to act as an arena for Deviants to fight against each other.

This is all just speculation, but perhaps they’re hiding more under the tarps than the program is letting anybody know about. Only time will tell if the program is going to allow such things to happen while still keeping secrets from the public.

In other news, the media has begun to cover more and move of the stranger incidents that perhaps you or a Deviant you know has been involved in, and the general public is truly discovering what it means to be different. Internationally, Deviants are becoming a term you don’t want to be associated with, and the STAR Program is quickly trying to cover it’s own tracks, while gathering more and more Deviants in their facilities.

We are in full force as the school year starts back up for most people. If you have any questions at all, you’re welcome to send them our way, and as the news spreads from Deviant to Deviant, we’re hoping you start getting excited for our weekly tournament in the Training Room Arena, something that will be in the works before a full fledged grand opening to combat characters against each other. Ethical? Hell no. But, it gives the researchers and agents something to do in their off time. After all, you did sign all your rights away once you entered the STAR Program and all those promises of temptation are now becoming apparent that they were all just lies. Keep those curious minds open.

End Event Announcement

The AU Event has officially come to an end. Normal starters can be posted again. You can take your time wrapping up your Au-threads! Characters are able to remember what happened in the AU-World, if you like them to.

EXTENDED DUE TO SUCCES - AU DREAM EVENT

The AU Dream Event was supposed to end tomorrow, but since a lot of plots are about to reach their peak we have decided to extend the event indefintely. At least until the most important storylines have taken place. We estimate this taking at least another week, if not a little longer. 

We have also decided that once the dream is over, characters will remember bits and pieces of it once they wake up. This is to not completely discard all the development and progress they went through. More information will follow on this once the event is actually over.

Plot Update:

Scientists and STAR agents have been acting pretty fishy as of late, and participants at the program are starting to take notice. If you haven’t put things together, someone around you has and it seems like the Deviants aren’t going to be released any time soon, something that might have been promised at some point or another. There’s something so much bigger that everyone is included in as a part of a larger government conspiracy...

Some Deviants have even been rumored to not have returned from their testings. And really, why does this place seem so reminiscent of a prison?

Recent public leaks of government files have even started popping up, giving hints that the Deviants aren’t as random as we originally thought. Whatever conspiracy you believe is up to you, but there’s definitely something they’re not telling us.

From the Deviants RP Admin team, we hope that you had a great holiday break and are ready for a full force Deviant plot for 2017! We also wanted to update everyone here so that characters aren’t just wandering around the facilities twiddling their thumbs. While this is a rather general update, stay tuned for other specific things going on in the facilities as more information is revealed about the STAR Program. And keep those curious minds open!
