Arena Event Update

Last month we announced the arrival of the newest addition to STAR facilities. The Battle Arena is one that is highly anticipated among scientists, though everyone has kept their mouths shut about it, not wanting Deviants to worry or even prepare for the inevitable fate. The Battle Arena will serve as a huge step forward in the STAR Program as it is described as a large gym infrastructure, stadium seating, protective glass barriers, among other assorted amenities. It will become a staple for seeing the effects that these Deviant’s abilities have on one another. Medical staff will be standing by so that the a person’s full range of abilities may be tested. The process of being selected to go into the Battle Arena will be random, and partners will be decided for future consideration to fight against one another. To keep everyone motivated, winning involves taking down the competitor and a prize will be rewarded to those who show this excellence. Special access, minimized security during city outings, and arranged privileges are just a few of the things that could be guaranteed when one wins at the Battle Arena. The scientists at STAR facilities are proud to be launching this exciting program that encourages Deviants to hone in on their abilities and prowess with free range against one another.

If you would like you character to be assigned to fight in the Battle Arena, please like this post by the character(s) you want to be considered.

This plot update is supposed to serve as a reminder that the STAR program is a little bit more corrupt than they’ve shown in the past as they are passing this off as just another test in surveying everyone’s abilities, when in reality, this is a ruthless manipulation to get Deviants to hurt one another along with providing insight for abilities. Characters can and will get injured in the Battle Arena, and if you decide that your character gets injured, let us know so that we can keep the plot updated and not overrun with injuries. Again, like this post if you want to be involved in the Battle Arena update, and pairings will be posted as soon as possible. Once pairings are posted, players are welcome to contact each other to begin plotting what sort of destruction they want to wreck on each other in the Battle Arena. Threads can also begin as soon as everyone that wants to be involved is paired.

End Event Announcement

The AU Event has officially come to an end. Normal starters can be posted again. You can take your time wrapping up your Au-threads! Characters are able to remember what happened in the AU-World, if you like them to.

DREAMWORLD - AU EVENT

Friday, February 3rd the AU-world will come to an end. Madeline will wake up from her dream and so will everyone else. Madeline’s power manifested itself and created a collective dream, meaning that once your character wakes up they will remember what happened in the AU-world. They can remember everything, they can remember bits and pieces, it might take them a while to get the memory of it back, it’s all up to you.

Threads of the AU-world can be wrapped up even after it ends. At this moment we’re trying to close the major plotlines. We hope you had a blast with this event, we certainly did! Thank you all for your great plotting and writing!

PLOT UPDATE - AU WORLD

Madeline is still fast asleep. Stuck in a world of what could have beens. 

Here is a quick list of the things that have happened so far and that are about to happen.

Madeline is about to give birth to Kyle’s child

Aurora, Tatiana and Julie are up for a fight

Felix has joined the Dougal cult and will have to prove himself in the worst way possible

Sylvie’s wings have been mutilated and is about to lose them all together

Zadrian’s and Alex’s confrontation will not end well for Alex or Sylvie

Grayson’s confrontation with Zadrian will have an unexpected involvement of Kyle and Felix and a just as unexpected ending

Zadrian’s final act of finding Tatiana in order to get his sister back is coming closer and closer 

A final explosive confrontation between the Dougal Siblings might be the one thing that finally wakes Madeline up

EXTENDED DUE TO SUCCES - AU DREAM EVENT

The AU Dream Event was supposed to end tomorrow, but since a lot of plots are about to reach their peak we have decided to extend the event indefintely. At least until the most important storylines have taken place. We estimate this taking at least another week, if not a little longer. 

We have also decided that once the dream is over, characters will remember bits and pieces of it once they wake up. This is to not completely discard all the development and progress they went through. More information will follow on this once the event is actually over.

Madeline has fallen asleep and has entered a world where reality and alternate possibilities seemed to have collided. There has never been only one future that was set in stone but a million different choices that have lead to the world as we know it today. 

Which events are predictions? And which are merely an alternate outcome of something that will change? One thing we know for sure, this night nothing will be the same.

The Alternate Dream Event has officially started! You can read the alternate starting points of other characters under the read more. 

Make sure to tag your starters with #devAU, next to the usual tags. You can continue your current threads but we ask you to wrap them up as soon as possible to prevent any confusion on the dash! 

The event will run until the 27th of January. After that everything will return to the way it was. 

Perhaps Madeline should have given her experiment of lucid dreaming a little more thought. As Madeline falls asleep she enters a world of past, present and future that makes little sense. She no longer dreams of things that are to come but ends up dreaming an entire alternate reality. What if different choices were made? What if the past had been changed? What if...What if...

For our next event we’ll be playing out a world that happens entirely in Madeline’s dreams. This means there is a lot of things to have fun with! The wildest things can happen to your character in this period of time. 

Madeline’s dreams still have a sense of reality. Your character won’t be able to do unrealistic things you might be able to do in a dream. However, this is a great time to explore an alternate side of your character.  What if they made different choices? What if they had different friends? What if they were on a different side? What if they lived, what if they died? The sky is the limit.

Since Madeline’s dreams do have a certain prediction to them, there can definitely be elements or little hints as to what  will end up happening to your character later in the story but all of this is up to you. 

The event will start on WEDNESDAY the 19th of JANUARY. and end on FRIDAY the 27th of JANUARY. Once Madeline wakes up she will barely remember her strange dream and everything will go back to the original timeline.

IMPORTANT: Please send in your global ideas for the alternate timeline for your character. This doesn’t have to be a detailed description of what will happen to them. Just a starting point with the most urgent changes, so we can post this for the other players. This can be a change in their past or present, a change in their connection, a change in their character etc. Make sure to contact the player you want your character to have an alternate connection with! 

EXAMPLE: Zadrian and Aurora Dougal are no longer looking for their siblings Orion and Akron. Orion and Akron were murdered during their testing by the STAR program. The only thing Zadrian and Aurora are looking for now is revenge.
