I don't know how long this has been in my inbox, but yes, I have not posted here for a long time - sorta life happened. And because of the war in Ukraine, my life is in a lot of flux - I am safe though, I am not from Ukraine, but with job, my country and everything - so I don't have much time to log in here, let alone gif anything... 12. Any books that disappointed you?

Kaikeyi by Vaishnavi Patel. I was excited to read it bc a) there aren't a lot of narratives from a women's point of view in the Ramayana and Mahabharata & b) Kaikeyi is usually seen as a villian so I wanted to see how the book would handle that. In the end, it deviated too much from the original legend for me

17. Did any books surprise you with how good they were?

Ink Blood Sister Scribe by Emma Torzs! I had no expectations and it turned otu to be one of my top books i read this year!

something to talk about by meryl wilsner! I KNEW I was going to love it when I ordered it and just waited by the window until it arrive and then devoured it.

30. your favourite middle grade book

the great good thing by roderick townley, it was one of the books that got me into reading and is about a storybook princess who lives out her story every time a reader opens the book- until she has to escape the book.

london: when you visit a city, do you take in the tourist points or the more unknown places?

I usually do a mixture of both! I like to go to all the tourist attractions but i also check out local shops and places to eat.

glasgow: where were you going during your latest bus journey?

My last bus journey was a group tour in cappadocia, turkey way back in 2019

naples: if you could visit anywhere in the world, where would you go and for how long?

usually i say egypt and greece for this type of question, but if i didn't have to worry about money/work i'd travel the world nonstop. I have so many countries and cities on my list!
