#deteriorating

It’s like withdrawal.

Feelings clutch at my chest like they’ll squeeze my lungs fully

before ripping them from my ribs.

Restless and tired,

ruminating thoughts I’ve been left with.

I feel myself deteriorating—

lost in something out of reach,
