since i started playing around with this flipnote style i really just had to draw pikachu from @rexalogy’s explorerz comic with the style… i think they just fit right in with it. my subtitle for this art is “god forbid skitty gets flipnote studio” because i just know skitty would be making vent amvs about pikachu. might also draw skitty like this at some point!

i can pretend i am alright but the truth is i miss the old internet - i miss having to put in the effort to source what i truly needed for a school project, i miss curating my niche and square-y instagram page when trends and influencers weren't dictating what got traction and attention, i miss looking at highly filtered faux aesthetic pictures on weheartit and adding counntless to my collections, i miss old youtube and those now old-style simple gameplay videos, i miss when i didn't have to ask myself on every picture or video i stumbled upon "is this ai?", i miss the simplicity and newness, i miss feeling like i was using the internet and not the other way around
