I got to meet my role model today and I panicked, i was at Destination Star Trek just for Kate because when I was 17 I attempted suicide and got sectioned and Kate who played Captain Kathryn Janeway helped me get through that and my many relapses. When Kate saw me she immediately asked me what was wrong and managed to calm me enough to explain and to say thank you and I hugged Kate too! She told me to be happy and healthy and I can't really remember the rest other than I almost cried just looking at Kate. I am so proud of myself that I finally got to meet my idol and thank her for helping me get through so many difficult times in my life.
