Keeping the park open to residents only is de facto racism. Nearby  East Palo Alto, a separate city, is minority majority. Palo Alto City Council needs to act and it needs to act NOW to open the park to all. Retired Judge LaDoris Cordell said that keeping the park for residents only is unconstitutional. Right on, Judge LaDoris! Politicians including Rep. Anna Eshoo have signed the petition calling for the opening of the park to all.
