⋆.ೃ࿔*:･a/n: I wrote this while I was half asleep lmao. This would probably turn out bad since I didn’t have a second look at it.

a smile caught on the corner of his lips when he eyed at your presence backstage. The way you looked happier made him fall deeply in love with you even more. His heart fluttered each time you laughed, talk and look at him with those brown eyes. Eric felt lucky to have you by his side.

Eric opened his arms to embrace you. A used habit of his to greet you with a hug as a daily reminder that he was there with you.

This was one of your habits. You love to meet up with him backstages, even if you had 3 minutes before you had to get back on stage, if the both of you had time, you would risk it. Even if it’s for 1 second just a glimpse of him, you could perform happily after. Maybe he felt the same too.

“What are you doing here baby. You’re supposed to be on stage in 2 minutes.” Eric asked you, planting a kiss on your forehead. This happened all the time, Eric purposely asked the same question in repeat just so he could hear your voice. He tilted his head down a little to look at you as you look up, his eyes meeting yours.

“I wanted to see you. Your dancing was so good” The excitement in your voice made his heart melt. Both of you were sweating like crazy, probably one of the reasons why the both of you are so close. You were driving him insane.

Eric didn’t want to lie. Your compliments definitely boost his ego and he believed it made him a better dancer, singer and rapper. Eric managed to hum in response. “Thank you baby. You did well for your part too. Did you get hurt? You’re standing with one leg for support.” He took his towel and carefully patted your sweat while his eyes focused on your left leg. You could only just nodded. You turned on the wrong foot.

“It’s okay. We’re halfway there. It doesn’t hurt as much as it looks, I just didn’t want to add more pain when walking here.” You said.

Although there was a worried look on his face, you rubbed his hand to soothe his worries. You gave him a reassuring smile and he had a few thoughts whether or not he should still let you perform which he did. But he still keep an eye out on you.

You were already called back to the stage. He still had another 3 minutes. With the last glance, he kissed your lips.

“You’re doing so well baby. I’ll see you on stage again in a few minutes.” Eric squeezed your hands before letting go of you. His eyes never left your figure. The smile you had was curing his sorrow life. The medicine to his worries.

God. He loves you as big as the universe. Maybe bigger that he couldn’t explain.

Because he wanted to spend the rest of his life being like stupid teenagers dancing and working together. He wanted the love he has with you to last a lifetime with him. Eric wanted to be the one who can see your little habits that no one could catch. Maybe the way you picked your nails because of your nervous, unconsciously fiddling with your own hair while you were focusing on something. Or maybe the special excitement look on your face when you found something really interesting.

He wanted to be the only man to ever notice those things.

Even though he was scared, each day you are becoming more aware of reality, Eric was scared for you to try new things. But then again, he will try to expose you to the real world without getting hurt.
