The Broncos finished the preseason 2-2, but the starters made slight improvements from game to game. A great sign for Broncos fans. Lets look at this terrible tiny list I made to highlight this point.
Final look at the 2018 preseason by looking back at 2017

During the week
Vance Joseph confirmed that everyone is healthy and ready to go. That just adds more pressure to Vance. With zero injuries heading into this game, this is the best the 2018 Broncos will be.
Since today is the first game of the new season, there are no stats for this season.

I hope all of the new players on this team help the Broncos on defense and offense.

The Broncos play two of those teams this year and people think Cleveland might win a few games this year.

The Quarterback
The starting quarterback is Case Keenum, jersey number # 4, who played in Minnesota last year and earned an 11-3 record as the starter.
The backup this year is Chad Kelly, jersey number #6. He outplayed Paxton Lynch during the preseason but did not show enough to threaten Keenum.
The backup to the backup this year is Kevin Hogan, jersey #9.
Brock is now the backup quarterback in Miami.
Jay Cutler finally retired.
Siemian and Sloter are backups in Minnesota. Siemian is locked in as the backup and Sloter the long term replacement. Sloter was voted the MVP of the Vikings 2018 preseason.
Paxton Lynch was let go despite playing well in the final preseason game.
Unlike in seasons past, there’s no debate about the starting quarterback.
Today’s game
Today the opponent is the Seattle Seahawks. Last year they finished with a 56% winning percentage. If you include the wins the Broncos had against teams tanking for a draft spot, they finished with a 31% winning percentage. If not, the Broncos won 19% of their games in 2017.
Outlook
If this were 2017, I would say the Broncos have a good chance at winning two games this year, but it’s not. The Broncos have added a lot of fresh faces and I have no idea how they’ll play in a real game. There’s a lot at stake for the Broncos in game one of the season. NOBODY WANTS TO WATCH THIS GAME AND THINK IT’S 2017 ALL OVER AGAIN!!!
