Quick Review
After making a sacrifice to the football gods, the Denver Broncos beat the New York Jets 23-0. This was a shock to everyone involved. The offense didnβt turn the ball over and the defense played well.
Watching this game had a weird feel to it. It felt like a Halloween game, played in a spooky fog and where the teams had secretly switched uniforms.

During the week
Not much happens in a short week. Miller said he plays to win and doesn't understand the play to lose mindset. *stands up and claps for Miller* Some fans are really pissed that the Broncos won a game. The Colts had a βsuck for Luckβ campaign and look at where they are now. If that doesnβt convince you losing is a bad strategy, ask the Cleveland Browns how draft picks make the team better.
The Broncos celebrated the win over the Jets like it was a super bowl victory, which is so embarrassing, but a win feels much better that a loss.

If the Broncos played 5 straight shutout games, given the offense averaging 18 points per game as they are now, theyβd end the season up +4 net points. There are only 3 games left.

The game
Itβs an away game and we all know what that means. The Broncos are 0-6 on the road this season.
Itβs a conference game and before last week, the Broncos had not won a game in the conference. However they did win last week, so maybe they can win their second conference game of the year. It is the last conference game of the year for the Broncos. They have a winning percentage of 20% in the conference and if they win, that will increase to 33%. Either way, itβs a grade of F for conference play this season.
*side note: This game is competing with the opening of the new Star Wars movie.
The game of the week in the west
Kansas City vs Los Angeles on Saturday for all the marbles.
