Here is a picture of how close I COULD have been to Demi! (The woman I gave the tickets to, her name was Rebecca too π€) Sooo, hereβs how I ended up missing Demi, but feeling pretty good about it in the end.. I purchased AMAZING seats for Demi Lovato the day they went on citi member pre-sale a couple months ago. I maxed out my credit card for these tickets. I was the most excited about this concert than any other. (This is before I knew I was pregnant.) Yesterday, I woke up with a massive migraine and I didnβt feel good at all. There was no way I could sit through a concert like this. I tried to sell my tickets at a discount on Facebook, IG, snapchat, and stubhub. I reduced the price to unreasonably low prices many times. At around 6:30pm I changed the listing to free. I couldnβt go, and Iβd rather someone get to go than them just sit unused. I was feeling like I should just try to go, but I knew it would make my head a million times worse. But I didnβt want them to go to waste. A stranger saw my post, and messaged me that her daughter had just turned 6 the day before. She said her little girl was so upset that she wasnβt going to see Demi. Thatβs when I knew I wasnβt meant to go at all. I sent her the tickets via text, and she sent me a picture of her daughterβs excitement when they got there! She shared videos and pictures of the show, and her daughter on Facebook. Iβve never been so happy to miss something in my life. Obviously, Iβm still sad that I didnβt get to enjoy the show myself- the seats were even better than I realized!!!
