These Bacon Cheeseburger Puffs are a delightful twist on the classic cheeseburger. They are savory, flaky, and packed with all the flavors of a cheeseburger, including crispy bacon. Perfect for parties or a fun weeknight dinner.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1/2 cup diced onion. 1/2 cup diced tomato. 1/2 cup diced pickles. 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. 8 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled. 1/4 cup ketchup. 1/4 cup mustard. 1/4 cup mayonnaise. 2 sheets puff pastry. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 375F 190C. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat. Add diced onion to the skillet and saut until translucent. Stir in ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise to create a sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut them into 8 equal squares 16 squares in total. Place a spoonful of the beef mixture in the center of each puff pastry square. Top with diced tomato, pickles, shredded cheddar cheese, and crumbled bacon. Fold the pastry squares over to create triangles and press the edges to seal. Place the filled puffs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the puffs are golden brown and puffed up. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
