So Amee was like "When did Hibiya appear in the kinkmeme?"

And i'm like "err... which part is Le Petit Prince in? Because that's when he got introduced... my fic should be the 2nd fic with Hibiya in it so...

Then we started going through Part 5 and Part 6 fanfics

And we were like "OMG DEE NEEDS TO FINISH 'NATURAL ORDERS BE DAMNED' DAMMIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" because THAT is the fic that made me realize the potential for Delic x Izaya and made me SHIP IT LIKE CRAZY! The angst potential aaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!!!!!!!! (ugh i seriously need to figure out the ending and write this fic. it's been in my head for over a YEAR since Part 6 page 2 then.... that's a freaking long time... been shipping it all alone until Amee came to my life ;_; )

Simply put, I have this huge fetish for Shitsuo vs Delic for Hibiya. I wanted to write it long before Sakuraya appeared, sometime in spring.

Basically Shitsuo is Hibiya’s butler. Shitsuo is a perfectionist and wants to keep away the meddling peasant, Delic from approaching the prince.  Shitsuo is an authoritarian even though he’s not in position of supreme power. But in a way he is in power, he manages the entire household under Hibiya’s name. Regardless Shitsuo is all about rules and regulations. He would go well with prude person like Hibiya. Shitsuo likes things organized and in orderly fashion. He wants Hibiya to grow up to be a perfect prince.

Then comes along Delic to ruin all that plan 8D

Delic doesn’t care about rules. He’s a rebel, and only rule in his book is chasing his true love. Which unfortunately happens to be Hibiya in this case. Don’t get me wrong, I actually ship Delic x Hibiya much more than Shitsuo x Hibiya. But I love the idea of Shitsuo trying to protect his prince from the scoundrel who might corrupt the young regent.  It’s kind of like Shitsuo is the nanny or the mother, trying to protect her daughter from being ravished 8D (all those Latino dramas and soap operas pfff… if you know what I mean. Or the European fairytales)

I always wanted to write it so one day… I might. Granted I might get the chance to do it when (and if) I write the Shitsuo x Sakuraya story with Delic x Hibi on the side~

Okay guys. stop being ridiculous. I'm still in my period so I may react explosively but seriously.

 “Just a little bit longer, Your Highness.” Delic said, his voice proud and confident, devoid of the sadness that was heavy in his heart. “Just a bit further and we’ll be there.”

The young prince nodded, his head softly on his knight’s back as the blond carried him.

“Aren’t I heavy?” The young prince asked, his voice soft with sleep.

“Of course not! I can carry you all week and walk to the ends of the earth for you!” Delic shouted as he walked on the rubbles. His footing was sure but he hurried. They were running out of time. “Just stay awake a bit longer, Your Highness. We’ll be there in no time.”

The small prince in once white tunic nodded, his once golden cape soiled in burgundy. He simply nodded, too tired to response as he could feel his life blood slowly ooze out of his body. It labored him to stay awake, but he did. For his people, he had to stay awake.

“Delic…?”

“Yes Your Highness?” His knight was in a hurry, trying to get to the castle as fast as possible. But Hibiya knew, he wouldn’t make it. He half smiled, sad that Delic would never see it.

“I hope… when I wake up, you would still be by my side.”

“Always, Your Highness. Always.” Delic’s voice choked a bit as he swallowed a lump.

He felt the body on his back slump and feel lighter.

The knight still walked on to the castle. He still had his duty to fulfill.
