Now Sean is too big for me to get that pro-bono work outta him haha but in all seriousness, Sean turned his hobby into a business. We should all be so lucky. UPDATE | I know I've been a tad bit quite the last couple of days but I've been working. Today I filed the state filing fees/paperwork to make H1GHER LEARNING an official non-profit organization in South Carolina--I should get official word back on that in a couple of weeks. Next, I'll go for the gusto--the FEDERAL filing; that takes about 9 months to complete. #LeSigh But on the bright side, we can start working as if we are a Non-Profit once the State filing is done and a Tax ID number is secured. That means, In addition to planning our next event and first OFFICIAL fundraiser, any donations received after that point can counted as tax write-offs (I think lol I'll get clarification on that)! Anyway, thanks to all of your help and please stay tuned because I'll be announcing a couple cool projects over the next couple months or so. Oh you thought just because I wasn't ACTIVELY raising funds towards the "MAKE H1GHER LEARNING a NON-PROFIT" campaign, I was just going to STOP showing love to the people that helped get me to my goal!?
