Just a night, one simple night away from all the chaos to spend time with a friend. Even if things had gotten crazier, Cat was determined to make the most of it. If anything, perhaps it would allow for some distraction for either one of them. "I know there's still plenty of time and it's only just November, but I think it's perfectly fine to cheer for the festive season already."
Caterina was rather biased in that regard, loving the way the lights would light up the city. The medic doubted there be layers of snow. Perhaps given the way the past few months had gone - and even just the past few weeks - a vacation over the holidays was something she could see herself still whipping up. But until then she wasn't going to let anyone take away the holiday cheer, early as it may have been.
