Deacon is missing and the last people who saw him are nowhere to be found. MacCready is worried; Deacon and he still had a score to settle, and Deacon promised him next time they talked they'd have a serious conversation about things between them. Deacon better not be trying to weasel his way out of this...
Meanwhile, Deacon has been captured by the Institute. Billed as the Railroad's number one spy and a well of information, the Institute is very interested in obtaining what he knows, whether he's willing to give it up himself or not. His abilities as a liar are put to the ultimate test as the Institute seeks to break the Commonwealth's most mysterious man.
