"PR getting to" a civilian online is nothing to joke about
It happens and has happened many a time in real life. Ask a larrie. Ask someone from the old Brokeback fandom. Ask myself who has been stalked and trolled since 2008 in the Jake Gyllenhaal/Austin Nichols fandom. And ask Decoding Anna from the J2 fandom. She was bullied off of the internet. Narnia Dispatches did a 4-part series back in 2016 about the bullying of Decoding Anna and how it had everything to do with the Hollywood closet and a pr team’s heavy handed tactics. Unfortunately, she disappeared online w/o a trace.
