I am having major surgery (a whole-ass hysterectomy, which is the only cure for endometrial cancer) on Monday! You are welcome to add me on discord if we aren't already mutuals! (@irishais)

I cannot promise you won't get some VERY drugged messages throughout the week! But I will make an effort to notify y'all when I'm back home and vaguely alive!

The surgery is expected to be about 5 hours, starting around 1PM EST.

If anyone wants to-- no pressure!-- and would like to contribute to my razor-thin funds for sending people out for groceries/food/meds, etc, since I will not be able to drive for at least the first week/until I'm off the narcotics, my cashapp/venmo are the same as my discord.

I'm now getting two surgeries instead of one, with the first being next Tuesday to remove a malignant little lesion and be tested for possible BONUS CERVICAL CANCER to go with my already existing endometrial cancer!

The original surgery is now scheduled for the end of April, provided this doesn't actually turn into (pippin voice) Second Cancer.

(not that this gremlin didn't already take over my entire apartment while Jamie was in Korea for five weeks and has spent 95% of her time since down here ANYWAY, but?????????)

seriously, the number of people who have just straight up ghosted me in verses/threads/on discord, etc, after expressing significant interest in writing (plotting, actual multiple threads, regularly sent asks), without a single word of reasoning (despite being the kind of people who are like “talk to me! we can be adults about this!”) is very fucking exhausting, and is the primary reason i disappeared for like three months. 

especially after i have gone out of my way to defend certain people and basically draw down a bunch of criticism on myself because of it. i ended up having to turn off non-mutual messaging on all of my blogs because of it, because i got REPEATEDLY harassed about people i chose to write with, and ended up with a period of anon-off because of some vitriolic hate mail i got. 

there were a lot of points during my break that i actually thought very seriously about deleting all of my 8 blogs and not coming back at all because of it.
