The second has [Hair Length], [Hair Colour] hair in [Hair Style] and is dressed in a dark blue jacket with a white fur trim, she wears a black choker with two blue gemstones, she has a blue cropped tank top and a tennis skirt in the same colour, she has black gloves that only cover her middle finger while leaving the others bare, she wears blue stockings in different lengths, the left one goes to mid thigh while the other is knee length, she has dark blue leg warmers and black mary jane shoes.

“Natsu! (Y/N)! We made it to Hargeon! Come on, get up already!” Exclaims Happy, a small blue cat, while patting Natsu on the head, another small cat named Lumi, although grey, stands beside Happy with a worried look on her face. Natsu can be seen laying face down, groaning in pain due to his motion sickness. (Y/N), in a similar predicament to Natsu, groans in pain as well.

“A-are they alright?” Asks the attendant.

“They're fine, this always happens when they travel” Explains Happy, as if it’s a normal occurrence, Lumi nodding in agreement.

“Never… I'm never riding a stupid train again” Natsu struggles to get out, almost throwing up as he speaks.

“Mhm…” Agreed (Y/N), in the same boat as Natsu. The two, overcome by motion sickness, are face down next to the exit. The two cats are nudging both (Y/N) and Natsu to wake.

“If our information’s correct, then we should find that salamander somewhere in this town.” Happy relays to (Y/N), Natsu, and Lumi, even though the two humans are unable to hear him.

 Happy exits the train car, while Lumi strains to drag (Y/N) out. Natsu, still motion sick, leans out of the car window; arms and head fully outside, as if about to throw up.

“Let’s go.” Happy says to the other three.

“Just give me a second, would you?” Natsu struggles to ask.

Workers shovel coal into the engine. As the train starts, Natsu’s head and arms are still sticking out of the window. Happy and Lumi look back and stare at the train as it gains momentum and accelerates down the track toward the horizon, (Y/N) still face down on the ground groaning in pain.

“NOOOOOO!!!!! NOOOOOO!!!!!” Cries out Natsu speeding down the tracks.

“Uh-oh, there he goes” Mutters Happy.

(Y/N) stumbles as she gets up, off of the ground, Lumi patting her leg as if to comfort her. (Y/N) looks around, noticing their missing friend.

“Hey Happy? Where’s Natsu?”

~ Somewhere else ~ 

“WHAT?!” Exclaims a girl with brown eyes and shoulder-length blonde hair tied by a blue ribbon in a small ponytail to the right side of her head with the rest of the hair loose. She's wearing a mainly white sleeveless shirt that has light blue accents and a darker blue skirt, she's wearing a belt that, along with keeping her skirt up, holds her Celestial Spirit keys and a whip with a heart-shaped end. She's wearing black, leather high heeled boots. (some description from the wiki)

“You mean to tell me there’s only one magic shop in this whole town?” Asks Lucy to the shopkeeper. She has her hands planted on the counter of the shop.

“‘Fraid so. The people around here are more fishing folk than they are magic folk.” Explains the shopkeeper as Lucy sighs looking up exasperated.

“I reckon most people in town don’t even know how to use magic. I built this shop to sell to the wizards who happen to pass through.” The shopkeeper continues.

Being told there is only one magic shop in town, she makes a distraught face and sighs again. Lucy turns and faces the wall as she puts her hands on her hips, face full of disappointment. 

“Oh, man. I came out all this way for nothing.” Lucy says dispiritedly.

“Now, now, don’t say that, little lady. I have all the latest goods. Let me show you a few.” The shopkeeper pulls out a box of Colours Magic and presents it to Lucy, pointing at it with excitement. “This Colours Magic is popular. It lets you change the colour of your clothes anytime you want.” 

The shopkeeper gives an example by demonstrating how Colours Magic works. A magic circle quickly emanates and then vanishes as he activates the magic item. The shopkeeper pivots and faces the wall, his right arm raised above his head, left arm holding the magic item at his side. As he does this his shirt changes from a yellow to purple. He has a look of delight upon his face. He swings his arm to the left as his shirt turns green. 

“I already have one of those. What I really want are some powerful gatekeys.” Explains Lucy.

“Gatekeys, huh? That’s a rare request.” The shopkeeper tells Lucy curiously.

Lucy gasps as the shopkeeper pulls out a brown box with a red interior and a gatekey sitting on top of a white pillow. The gatekey is silver, the bow of the key (a/n: the part you hold) has a white circle with what looks like the silhouette of the side view of a snowman, and the key wards (a/n: part that goes into the lock) are in the shape of a dogs paw with the middle having a little white circle.

“OH, WOW! It’s the little doggie!” Exclaims Lucy excited.

“Yes, but that one’s not very powerful, you know.” The shopkeeper tells Lucy.

“I know, but I really, really want it.” She says with a bashful expression, hand on her face. Lucy has an ecstatic look. She presents the “Key of the Dog” to the shopkeeper. 

“So how much?” Lucy inquires.

“20,000 Jewel.” 

Joy turns to dismay. Lucy faces the shopkeeper, head bowed slightly in irritation. 

“I’m sorry, but how much was that again?” Lucy asks as if she misheard.

“I said 20,000 jewel.”

Lucy sits on the counter, one leg crossed over the other, smiling seductively at the man, one hand resting on the counter the other on her head, winking at the shopkeeper. 

“Aw, come on. How much is it really worth? Surely, you can cut me a deal?”

~ Timeskip ~

Lucy stormed angrily down the street, stores and shops lining the road. Arms swinging in an angry fashion as she marches through the street. 

“I can’t believe he only knocked off a thousand jewel. That stubborn old geezer must be blind. That trick usually works. So much for using my feminine wiles.” She grumbled to herself. 

Lucy suddenly stops as she hears the cheers and screams of girls chattering. She turns to the right and goes to the wall of the bridge and looks down to see a crowd of girls fawning and surrounding a man. Two admirers of the man run across the bridge to get to him. 

“Are you serious? He’s really here?” Girl #1 says in clear excitement.

“It’s Salamander!” Girls #2 shouts in elation.

“Salamander?” Lucy says in a confused tone, Lucy then comes to the realization that they’re talking about a famous wizard. “As in the wizard who uses fire magic you can’t even buy in stores? WOW! He’s in this dead-end town” She clasps her hands in excitement. 

~ Somewhere else ~

Natsu and (Y/N) are walking down a narrow empty street with Happy beside him and Lumi holding onto (Y/N)'s shoulder on her back. Both of them are walking at a slow pace and slightly hunched over, Natsu walking with his arms slightly out as (Y/N) is holding her stomach. Natsu has a backpack and other items on his back, while (Y/N) has her own bag. 

“Man. I wound up riding the train twice.” Natsu groaned out.

“You’ve got to get over that motion sickness.” Happy tells the two Dragon Slayers.

“Now I’m so hungry I could eat my hand.” Natsu mumbles.

“I could go for something to eat too now that you mention it.” States (Y/N).

“It’s too bad we don’t have any money for food.” Says Happy.

“Hey, guys. This salamander we’re looking for has got to be Igneel, right?” Questions Natsu.

“Aye, it has to be because the only fire dragon I’ve ever heard of is Igneel.” Happy agrees with Natsu.

“That’s true.” He agrees.

“I mean, we can’t forget that it might not be Igneel, guys. Although it’d be nice to ask about Nivalis, if it does turn out to be him.” Demurs (Y/N) in reluctance not wanting to disappoint the two.

The four notice a crowd of cheering girls in front of them yelling things like "SALAMANDER!”, “YOU’RE SO HOT AND DREAMY!”, “AND SO HOT!”. 

“Salamander?” Both Natsu and Happy question turning to each other with a gleeful look and run toward the crowd, (Y/N) and Lumi reluctantly trailing behind.

“HA! Well, speak of the devil. We’re in luck today, guys.” Natsu announced to the group. 

“AYE!”

Salamander does a series of hand movements that ends with him extending his arm out and then pulling his hand beside his chin with it in a fist with his pointer and middle finger extended. The crowd of admirers cheer and scream excitedly around him. Lucy, amongst the crowd, has her mouth wide open and her face blushing, her heart beating rapidly. 

‘Why is my heart beating so fast? What’s gotten into me all of a sudden?’ Lucy thinks.

“You ladies are all so sweet.” Salamander says to the crowd of girls. When all of a sudden he looks at Lucy.

‘He looked at me!’ She brings her hands to her heart and weeps as if struck by Cupid. ‘Is it ‘cause he’s a famous wizard? Is that why my heart’s throbbing out of control?’ Lucy, suddenly overcome with love, approaches Salamander, hopping on one foot to him. 

‘Could it be? Am I in love?’ She has a dreamy look on her face.

“IGNEEL! IGNEEL!” Shouts Natsu, running towards the center of the crowd.

‘Is he the one?’ Lucy continues to think.

“IGNEEL, IT’S ME!” Natsu continues to shout for who he thinks is Igneel.

Natsu and Happy shove their way through the crowd, Natsu with an excited look on his face. (Y/N) with an unsure expression, gently pushes past the group of girls to follow after him. As they get to the front of the crowd, a look of disappointment crosses their faces. 

“Who the heck are you?” Questioned Natsu and (Y/N) in unison.

 Salamander recoils at their question. 

“WHO AM I?! I’m Salamander. Surely you’ve heard of me before? HEY, WAIT A MINUTE!” 

Natsu and (Y/N) walk away defeated. Salamander has an aghast look on his face as the four walk away from him. Admirers attack Natsu, missing (Y/N) as she ducks out of the way covering her head, kicking him to the ground.

“YOU’RE SO RUDE!” Girl #9 exclaims.

“SALAMANDER’S A GREAT WIZARD! YOU BETTER APOLOGIZE TO HIM OR WE’RE GONNA RIP YOU TO SHREDS!” Girl #10 threatens.

“What is it with you girls?” Natsu wheezes out. Happy, (Y/N), and Lumi look on at Natsu, concerned for his health.

“Now, now, that’s enough, my lovelies. Let him go. I’m sure the poor boy didn’t mean anything malicious by it” Salamander urges the girls to let Natsu go.

“Salamander!” The group of girls coo.

Lucy looks at Salamander with her arms crossed, a disgusted look on her face. She furrows her brows and glares at him.

Salamander signs an autograph for both Natsu and (Y/N). He throws a wink in (Y/N)’s direction, as an attempt to charm her. The both of them have a look of annoyance on their faces, (Y/N)’s face showing more of a grimace than annoyance.

“And here’s my autograph, kids. Now you can brag to all your friends.” Sounding quite smug and pleased with himself. The crowd of admirers are shocked that the two were receiving an autograph from Salamander.

“No, thanks.” “Yeah, no thanks.” Natsu and (Y/N) speak at the same time.

The crowd of admirers turn from shock to anger once again as the two refuse the autographs. Natsu suddenly found himself on the ground once more in a pile of garbage bags, on his back, with his legs sticking up. Happy, his body turned towards Natsu, but his head towards Salamander, looked on in slight amusement. (Y/N) and Lumi gaze at Natsu with a concerned look on their faces, as if to ask “Are you okay?”

“Guess it wasn’t him after all.” Happy comments dejectedly. 

“Definitely not him.” Natsu groaned.

“I feel like I could’ve seen that coming a mile away” (Y/N) said as if stating the obvious with an unimpressed look on her face, her arms crossed, Lumi nodding in agreement.

“Well, I'm afraid I must be going, ladies. I have business to attend to.” Salamander proclaims to the group.

“You’re leaving already?!” The crowd of girls protest as they turn to him in unison. 

“Time for the red carpet. HA!” Salamander stretches out his arm and snaps his fingers. 

A red magic circle appeared from where he snapped his fingers and a circle of purple fire arose from where he stood, as it quickly lifted him from the ground. The crowd of admirers are awestruck at the performance, as he shoots into the sky on his fire. 

“I’m having a soirée on my yacht tonight! And you’re all invited, especially you, [Hair Length] [Hair Colour]ed beauty!” He called out to the crowd, specifically singling out (Y/N).

Natsu, now sitting up, looks up at the sky where Salamander once was in confusion, (Y/N) standing beside him, arms crossed over her chest, with a disapproving gaze, looks in the same direction. Happy looks quite impressed by the performance. 

“Who the heck was that guy?” Natsu wonders. 

“I don’t know, but he was a real creep.” Lucy states to Natsu and (Y/N).

“Hmm?” The four turn their heads to see Lucy, who walks up to them. 

“Thank you for your help.” Lucy smiles and raises one hand in thanks, the other resting on her hip.

“Uh?” Natsu stares cluelessly at Lucy.

~ Timeskip ~

“My name is Lucy. It’s nice to meet you.” She introduces herself to the group.

“Hi.” Happy says with a mouth full of food.

Natsu and Happy are inhaling food and drink items at a rapid pace as they sit in a booth in a restaurant with Lucy, (Y/N), and Lumi sitting across from them, (Y/N) and Lumi calmly and politely eating next to Lucy on the inside of the booth, a stark contrast to their counterparts. Lucy attempts to talk with Natsu and Happy. Several other patrons at the restaurant have mixed looks of disgust and confusion at the scene of Natsu consuming his food at an alarming rate. 

“Um, Natsu, Happy, (Y/N), and Lumi, was it?” She confirms with the group.

“Hm-hmm, you’re so nice.” Natsu states, with his mouth full of food.

“Thanks. You can slow down. We’re not in a hurry. And food is kinda flying everywhere.” She nervously says to the two shovel their faces with food, as some of it bounces off her head and begins dripping down to her eye. (Y/N), looking on in amusement, giggles quietly to herself. Natsu and Happy have many dishes piled beside them, (Y/N) and Lumi have a considerably smaller amount next to themselves.

‘There goes the money I saved at that old geezer’s shop.’ She thinks to herself as if she was starting to regret bringing them to the restaurant.

“Evidently, that Salamander guy was using magic, a charm spell, to hypnotize the ladies in town into thinking they were in love with him. Charm spells have the power to attract people to you against their own will, but they’ve been banned for years.” She explains to the group. But her expression and tone changes to one of disgust. “Nobody even sells them anymore. He must have gone through a lot of trouble to get his hands on it. What a creep. I totally fell victim to his spell, but I snapped out of it thanks to you barging in when you did. I really can't thank you guys enough.” Her manner changes to appreciation towards the end.

“No problem.” Natsu mumbles through the food.

“I know I may not look like it, but I’m a wizard too.” Lucy tells them, which catches (Y/N)’s attention.

“Is that so?” (Y/N) inquires, raising an eyebrow, her interest slightly peaked.

Lucy turns towards (Y/N).

“Yeah, but I haven’t joined a guild yet or anything. Oh I should probably explain, huh? See, guilds are these organizations where wizards come together to share information, and find work and things like that. Unfortunately, you aren’t considered a full-fledged wizard until you become a member of a guild. But there are tons of them all over the world! I’ve heard it’s really tough to get into the more popular ones.” She reveals to the four of them. “And the guild I want to join is the most popular one there is.” She continues in a dream-like state. “Yeah~ they’re the greatest and they’re always featured in Sorcerer Weekly.” She sighs dreamily as the others look at each other in confusion. “Oh, if I could actually convince them to let me in, I think I’d just about die.” Lucy continues to fan-girl to the four.

“Yeah?” Natsu replies, almost bored at the topic as Lucy monologues on.

“Oh, I’m sorry. I guess all this wizarding talk must sound like a bunch of gibberish to you, huh?” Lucy waves her hand up and down at Natsu with her elbows on the table in a dismissive manner. “But I’m telling you, I’m definitely gonna join that guild someday. And then I'm gonna take all kinds of exciting jobs and make tons of money.” Declares Lucy.

“Oh, yeah?” He says uninterestedly.

“You talk a lot.” Happy states, looking bored.

“Uh… oh, man, I almost forgot. You guys came here trying to find somebody, didn’t you?” Lucy wondered.

“We’re looking for Igneel.” Happy states.

“We heard a rumor that a Salamander was gonna be coming through this town, so we came here to see him. Turns out it was somebody else.” (Y/N) says in a dejected tone looking a bit disappointed.

“Yeah that guy didn’t look like a salamander at all.” Agreed Happy, while looking at Natsu.

“No kidding. I bet that poser can’t even breathe fire like a real dragon.” Natsu crosses his arms as he finishes a pizza, looking let down. (Y/N) looks at him in understanding.

“Uh, I don't get it. Your friend Igneel looks like a dragon?” Lucy questions, confused.

“No, you got it all wrong. He doesn’t look like a dragon. He is one.” Natsu days as if the answer was obvious. Lucy recoils in shock when Natsu says Igneel is a dragon.

“Huh?” Lucy faltered at the idea of an actual dragon.

“Aye, Igneel is a real-life fire dragon.” Happy confirms.

“Huh?!” Lucy shouts in surprise.

“Even in this magnificent world of magic, dragons are considered extraordinary, mystical creatures. They are rarely seen by the human eye.” The Narrator explains.

“Why would a fire dragon show up in the middle of town?!” Exclaims Lucy as the others look at her flabbergasted, as if they hadn’t thought about it.

“Uh…” Both Natsu and Happy say as (Y/N) and Lumi look at her stunned.

“IT’S TOTALLY RIDICULOUS!” Lucy shouts at them. “Well, I should get going. Enjoy the rest of your lunch. And maybe I’ll see you around.” She continues as she puts some money on the table and gets up to leave.

“Thank you, ma’am. Please come again. OH!” Says the waitress as Lucy reaches the door, when she’s suddenly shocked by what she sees behind Lucy.

Lucy, noticing the waitresses expression, looks back to see what she's staring at. As she turns her head she notices both Natsu and Happy on their knees on the floor bowing to Lucy. (Y/N) and Lumi can be seen still sitting in the booth, (Y/N)’s elbows resting on the table, leaning her head on one hand looking on in amusement, as if what Natsu and Happy are doing is completely normal. Lucy’s expression changes to one of complete shock and embarrassment at what the two are doing. As she giggles nervously, not sure how to react, the other paterons look at Natsu and Happy in confusion.

“THANK YOU FOR THE FOOD!” “THANK YOU!” Natsu and Happy praise Lucy for paying for their food. 

“CUT IT OUT! YOU’RE EMBARRASSING ME! Look, it’s cool. You guys helped me out earlier. So let’s just call it even.” She nervously insisted too the two. Natsu and Happy then look at each other sorrowfully.

“I feel bad, though, ‘cause we weren’t even trying to help her.” Natsu mutters to Happy.

“Aye, we owe her something.” Happy murmurs back. Lucy puts her palm to her head and exhales in exasperation. Natsu suddenly has an idea on what to give her in compensation. 

“OH, I KNOW! Here this is for you.” Natsu, quite proud of himself, gives Lucy the autograph of Salamander. 

“NO WAY!” Lucy, visibly angry at this offer, shouts at Natsu, who’s grinning widely.

~ Timeskip ~

“This is the wizarding magazine, Sorcerer Weekly.” explains the narrator.

“Oh my. Looks like the Fairy Tail guild’s out there causing trouble again.” Lucy says while sitting on a park bench. “‘Demon bandit clan wiped out, but seven homes destroyed.’” She chuckles reading out loud, now laying on her back on the bench, kicking her feet in the air. “Talk about going overboard! The centerfold’s Mirajane. She’s so pretty. I wish I knew how to get to be a member. Do you have to apply or maybe interview with them? I don’t know.” She wonders out loud. “But I’m so gonna join Fairy Tail! They’re totally the coolest guild ever!” She giggles, closing the magazine, now sitting upright.

“What was that? You want to join Fairy Tail?” Salamander emerges from the bushes behind the bench, surprising Lucy.

“SALAMANDER!” Lucy exclaims in shock at the sudden appearance of the creepy man. She stands and points at Salamander with a disgruntled look on her face.

‘I’ve been looking all over for you. I wanted to personally invite you to the party I’m having on my yacht tonight.” Salamander tries to persuade Lucy.

“Your charm spell won’t work on me. That magic’s weakness is awareness. It doesn’t work on people if they know you’re using it.” She snaps, pointing angrily at him.

“Just as I thought. I guessed you were a wizard the moment I laid eyes on you. No matter. The invitation still stands.” He persuades.

Lucy turns from Salamander, crossing her arms. 

“Well, you can forget it. I wouldn’t be caught dead at a party being thrown by a creep like you.” Lucy’s words seemed to have wounded Salamander’s ego.

“A creep? Why would you call me that?” He asks, seemingly wounded by the thought. Lucy turns back towards him.

“Your spell. Using it to make yourself popular.” She states, offended.

“Don’t be mad, my dear. It’s all good fun. I just wanted to feel like a celebrity at my own party. Can you blame me?” Salamander winks at her as she starts walking in the opposite direction.

“This just proves that even famous wizards can be big idiots.” As she walks away, Salamander says something that catches her attention.

“You wish to join the Fairy Tail guild, right?” He asks, very confident that his plan will work. “Have you ever heard about Salamander, one of Fairy Tail’s wizards?” He continues, as Lucy turns to face him.

“Well, yeah. You’re telling me you’re him? You’re that Salamander?!” She exclaims in surprise.

“That’s correct. And if you want to join, I could probably put in a good world for you.” He tells her.

“I would love to go to your party tonight.” Lucy, hearing she could possibly get into the Fairy Tail guild, is suddenly taken by Salamander. She giggles, clasping her hands together and stands up close and personal to him

“Wow, that was even easier than I thought it would be.” He mutters to himself.

“So, you really think you could get me into Fairy Tail? No kidding?” Her eyes sparkle at the prospect of joining the famous guild.

“I don’t see why not, but you can’t say anything about the charm spell.” Salamander tells Lucy.

“I won’t say a word!” 

“Good. Then I'll see you at the party tonight.” Salamander makes a magic circle and purple fire appears as he flies off into the sky, leaving Lucy by herself.

“YOU GOT IT, MR.SALAMANDER, SIR.” She squealed, waving to him with a look of admiration on her face as he flys away. “He got me! I was pseudo-charmed. But… HOORAY! HE’S GONNA GET ME INTO FAIRY TAIL!” She jumps into the air. “I just have to keep my mouth shut and try to be nice to that sleazebag until then.” She giggles to herself.

~ Timeskip ~

Natsu's leaning with his back to the railing, to his left is (Y/N), leaning with her front on the railing with Lumi on her back, looking over her shoulder. Happy sitting to Natsu’s right. They’re on a winding road that overlooks the city to the ocean. Happy is looking at the ship that Salamander is hosting his party on. 

“That was quite a meal, hey, guys?” Natsu asks the group, (Y/N) nods in agreement.

“Aye. Hey, look, do you think that’s the boat where that Salamander guy is having his party?” Happy asks. Natsu looks out at the ship and immediately feels ill and puts his hand to his mouth and gags. 

“I’m gonna hurl!”

“Oh, come on. It’s not like we’re going aboard or anything.” Happy comforts Natsu, (Y/N) turns to him, now resting her side on the railings.

“He’s right Natsu, we're not even close to the boat, and you’re getting sick. You know I get bad motion sickness too and you don’t see me wanting to throw up at the thought of riding one of those death traps.” She teases him.

“OH MY GOSH! That’s Salamander’s yacht, isn’t it?” Girl #1 says wishing she was on the boat. Happy notices a group of three girls further down the road.

“I wish I could have gone to his party.” Girl #2 laments.

“Who’s Salamander? Girl #3 questions.

“Whoa, you’ve never heard of him?” Girls #1 asks back. “He’s a super famous wizard who’s in town right now.” 

“Yeah, and he’s a member of Fairy Tail.” Girl #2 says.

This catches the group's attention as they look towards the girls.

“Fairy Tail?” Natsu questions to himself. He furrows his brow as he looks out at the ship in the distance frowning at it. He immediately feels sick again as he squats down, hands on the railing, frowning at the ship, (Y/N) looks at him and sweat drops, sighing.

“So he’s in Fairy Tail, is he?” He says skeptically. 

~ On the boat ~

“It’s Lucy, right? That’s a lovely name.” Salamander compliments her.

“Yeah, thanks.” She says as he pours her a fizzy orange drink.

“I’d like to toast your beauty. Now, open up wide, Lucy. Savour the taste of each flavourful drop as it enters your mouth.” Bubbles float up from the liquid going in Lucy’s direction. 

‘CREEPY! I’m strong. I can get through this.' Lucy thinks in an attempt to calm herself.

Lucy looks annoyed at Salamander, when suddenly, she stands and sweeps the bubbles away with her hand. She grits her teeth as she looks at him. 

“What do you think you’re doing? I know what you’re up to. You’re trying to use sleep magic.” She asserts as she notices a charm ring on Salamander’s finger. He pivots and looks somewhat amused, chuckling.

“Very impressive, my dear.” He commends her for seeing through his lie.

“Look, I don’t want to give you the wrong idea. Yes, I really want to join the Fairy Tail guild, but I’m not gonna date you to make that happen.” She admits to him. He chuckles at the thought, turning away.

“You’re quite the handful, aren’t you?” He mocks her.

Curtains are drawn on either side of the room and Lucy turns to look behind her and gasps as she sees multiple men carrying women who had fallen asleep due to the charm. 

“What’s going on here?” She implores, now nervous.

“Welcome aboard my ship. And you’d be wise to behave yourself until we make it to Bosco. Don’t make me angry.” He threatens Lucy as his tone becomes dark.

“We're going to Bosco?! You said you’d get me into Fairy Tail!” Lucy Exclaims. She turns back around to face Salamander.

“Forget it. I just said that  so I could lure you here and make you one of our slaves.” He admits to Lucy not even one bit ashamed.

“How could you?! You’re gonna kidnap all of these girls?” She interrogates, as the men around her, still holding all of the incapacitated girls, laugh.

“That’s our Salamander, all right” Minion #1 states.

“We got a big haul this time.” Minion #2 says.

“Why you!” Lucy pulls out her celestial keys, but before she could summon a spirit, Salamander casts a fire spell that whips the keys out of her grasp and into his hands.

 “Hmm. These are gatekeys. So you’re a Celestial Wizard. Only the wizard who is contracted can use this magic. So these are absolutely useless to me. Whoops.” He then throws the keys off the ship and into the water. Lucy, looking devastated and stressed, begins to cry, as the girls are still knocked out and the men around her are still laughing at her. 

“You used magic to take advantage of others. You’re the worst wizard alive!” She yells in a choked out tone.

Natsu and (Y/N) suddenly crash through the roof of the ship as they land on the floor. Lucy smiles at the unexpected arrival of the two.

“Hey I know you!” Lucy, surprised with the appearance of Natsu and (Y/N), smiles as she wipes her tears away.

Just as soon as Natsu and (Y/N) get on the ship, they feel the effects of their motion sickness and turn away, much to the surprise of the crew and the annoyance of Lucy.

“I knew this was a bad idea.” Natsu says, covering his mouth, crouched away from everyone.

“Oh god, why did I agree to this? I blame you for this Natsu.” (Y/N) says, trying not to throw up her lunch as she’s kneeling on the floor, trying to hold herself up.

“You two are so lame!” Lucy shouts as Happy and Lumi appear, hovering over the hole Natsu and (Y/N) made.

“Hey, what are you doing here, Lucy?” Happy questions to her, just as surprised as she is.

“Oh, Happy, Lumi, this jerk tricked me. He said he was gonna get me into Fairy Tail. Hold up, since when do you two have wings?” Lucy explains, but stops as she notices both of the cats suddenly have wings, Natsu and (Y/N) still keeled over on the floor.

“I’ll explain that later, okay? Hold on!” Lucy screams as she’s suddenly picked up by Happy’s tail and flown away off the boat. The crew is dumbfounded at everything that has transpired in the last few moments.

“After them! We can’t let them report this to the magic council.” Salamander shouts to his crew.

“Wait, what about Natsu and (Y/N)?” Lucy asks.

“I can’t carry two people.” Happy states as Lucy shivers from the wind.

“PROMINENCE WHIP!” Salamander shoots multiple columns of fire at the two as Happy dodges them with ease, Lucy screaming in alarm as she’s essentially flung around. Salamander and the crew stare up at Happy and Lucy as they fly away.

“That cat’s quicker than he looks.” Salamander states.

“Hey, guys.” The crew turn to see Natsu and (Y/N) in the doorway, still struggling to get up, growling. “(Y/N), you go make sure Lucy and Happy are okay, I’ll deal with these guys.”

“Yeah, sure, anything to get me off this ship. Come on Lumi, let’s go.” (Y/N) agrees as Lumi picks her up by the back of her jacket as they fly to where Lucy and Happy are.

~ With Lucy and Happy ~

“What about Natsu, (Y/N), and the other girls?” Lucy inquires.

“We got a problem, Lucy.” Happy announces.

“What do you mean?! What problem?!”

“My transformation’s up!” As Happy ran out of magic, both he and Lucy fell into the water below, both screaming. Lucy conveniently falls near her celestial key ring. 

‘My gatekeys!’ She thinks as she swims towards them.

~ With Natsu ~

As Natsu is on the floor of the deck, being kicked by the crew, Salamander faces away over the side of the ship. 

“Forget about them. Let’s continue on towards Bosco.” Salamander commands just as Natsu blocks a kick with his arm and rises to his feet. 

“The Fairy Tail guild… you’re a member?” Natsu questions as he struggles a bit to push away the boot shoving him down, hearing the supposed Fairy Tail member. 

~ With Lucy and Happy ~

At the same time, Lucy swims to the surface of the water, just as (Y/N) and Lumi find them. 

“Hey, guys! Did you find Lucy’s keys?” (Y/N) inquires as she and Lumi drop into the water and swim to Lucy and Happy.

“Yeah! And I think I have an idea to get that ship to the port.” Claims Lucy looking at her.

Lucy then uses Aquarius’ key to summon her. The gatekey is golden, the bow of the key is in the shape of an upside down urn with handles on the sides, it has a white oval in the middle of the urn with two crests of the Water Bearer, two parallel waves, with a heart on its base, and the key wards are shaped similarly to a mermaids tail, with "fins" sprouting out of either side of the base of the bow, and four more at the tip, curling towards the center. (Description from the wiki)

“Here we go. OPEN, GATE OF THE WATER BEARER, AQUARIUS!” Lucy yells as she recites the command to summon her. Aquarius has a long, blue fish-tail, light blue that reaches up to her waist, and a large bust. Aquarius' wearing a dark blue bikini top and on each arm, she has a golden armlet and bracelet. Aquarius also has a circlet, three piercings on her tail, and a golden belt at her waist and light blue crystal earrings. A dark blue tattoo resembling the Aquarius zodiac symbol rests right under her collarbone. (description from wiki)

Aquarius hovers above the four looking annoyed. 

“A fish!” Cheers Happy. “A mermaid!” (Y/N) says, astonished with stars in her eyes, mouth agape, as Lumi has a similar look on her face.

“Not for you!” Lucy asserted to Happy.

“That was awesome!” “Wow, that’s amazing!” Happy and (Y/N) both say, amazed by Lucy's magic.

“That's the power of a Celestial Wizard. Whenever I use my gatekeys, I can summon spirits from other worlds to help me.” Lucy says quite proud of herself. “Listen up, Aquarius, I want you to use your power to push that back into the port.” Lucy points at the ship. Aquarius looks to her irritated, and scoffs.

“You’re supposed to come from the spirit world to help, not give me attitude!” She yells at Aquarius.

“I wouldn’t make her any angrier, Lucy” Worries Happy.

“I’m inclined to agree with him, Lucy, she already seems kinda pissed.” (Y/N) states with uncertainty as Lumi clings to her back slightly afraid.

“Let’s get something straight. The next time you so much as think about dropping my key, you’re dead.” Aquarius scolds, glaring at Lucy.

“It won’t happen again.” The three say in unison in a fearful tone. Aquarius then summons a massive wave of water that sweeps the ship as well as the four of them to the shore. 

“HEY, DON’T WASH ME AWAY WITH IT!” Lucy screams as she’s swept away with the wave. As the wave crashes into the port, it causes large amounts of property damage. Happy has his head stuck in the sand, his tail swishing back and forth, Lucy kneeling on the ground next to him with a pissed expression. (Y/N) lays on her front with her arms outstretched in front of her, with a dazed look on her face, Lumi laying face up on (Y/N)’s back, also dazed.

“What’s the big deal? You think you could have tried not to sweep me up with the ship?!” Lucy says in anger to Aquarius.

“Oh, that was an accident. I didn’t mean to get the ship.” Aquarius says nonchalantly.

“WAIT, THAT MEANS YOU WERE AIMING FOR ME?!” Lucy fumes at her.

“Don’t call me for a while. I’m going on a week-long vacation with my boyfriend. And he’s hot.” Boasts Aquarius as she disappears to the spirit realm.

“YOU DON’T HAVE TO RUB IT IN!” Lucy snaps at her as she vanishes just as Happy finally pops out of the sand. (Y/N) sits up, rubbing her head, holding onto Lumi, as the left sleeve of her jacket slides down her shoulder.

“I’ve got an idea! If the fish lady gives you any more trouble, you can call me to take care of her.” Happy suggests to Lucy.

“I don’t think that's a good idea, Happy.” (Y/N) says as she and Lumi sweatdrop in response.

“I don’t think I can handle much more of this stupid cat.” Lucy whimpers, facepalming. 

A crowd of concerned people start gathering around the wreckage of the ship. The boat in question was on the shore, on its side, essentially half buried under the sand because of Aquarius’ wave. 

“What happened?” A concerned bystander asks.

“That ship was thrown into port.” Another one says.

“That hurt. What in the–” Salamander rubs his head to stop it from hurting as he notices Natsu on the top of the turned over ship.

“NATSU!” (Y/N) and Lucy yell in unison as they run up to the site of the crash, carrying both cats.

“So you claim to be a member of the Fairy Tail guild?” Natsu growls out the question to Salamander and his crew, staring down at them.

“So what’s it to you? Go get him, men.” Salamander commands his men while looking up at Natsu.

“Sir.” They say in unison as they run at Natsu.

“Let me get a closer look at your face.” Natsu states while dramatically throwing his jacket off, Salamander smirks as his men come rushing at Natsu.

“WATCH OUT!” Lucy shouts to warn him.

“Don't worry about him. I probably should have told you this earlier, but he’s a wizard too.” States Happy while sitting on Lucy’s shoulder eating a fish, she gasps in disbelief. (Y/N) stands to Lucy’s right looking up at Natsu while he fights the oncoming foes, hands on her hips, proud smile on her face as she watches. Natsu punches Salamander’s crew to the left, with a glare on his face.

“My name is Natsu. I’m a Fairy Tail wizard. And I've never seen you before!” He declares, Salamander looks at him with shock, as Lucy looks at him with amazement.

“You’ve got to be kidding me! So Natsu is a Fairy Tail Wizard” Bewildered, Lucy looks to (Y/N) as she sees a blue Fairy Tail guild mark on her left bicep. “(Y/N), you are too?!” Lucy says, her mouth gaping. (Y/N) looks at her with a sheepish expression on her face.

“Guilty~” (Y/N) says in a teasing tone.

“That mark on his arm, this guy is the real deal, Bora.” One minion says to him, frightened.

“Don’t call me that, you fool.” Bora says panicky. His crew becomes increasingly concerned as Natsu’s power becomes apparent to them. 

“I know him. That’s Bora the Prominence.” Happy informs Lucy, his arms crossed with a mad look on his face.

“Rumor has it, he was kicked out of the Titan Nose wizard guild a couple of years ago because of bad behavior.” (Y/N) continues for Happy, an equally livid expression on her face.

“I have no idea what you’re trying to do here, buddy, and I don't care if you’re a good guy, bad guy, or what. I’m not gonna let you dirty the Fairy Tail guild’s name.” He says, infuriated as he walks slowly and menacingly towards Bora and his crew.

 “And what are you gonna do about it? Stop me? PROMINENCE TYPHOON!” Bora smiles and taunts him. He makes a magic circle and shoots fire at Natsu. 

“NATSU!” Lucy shouts in distress seeing Natsu get hit with the blast of fire. She goes to see if he’s okay, but just as she is about to move, Happy moves in front of her as if to block her. (Y/N) puts her hand on Lucy’s shoulder to stop her as well. Lucy looks at Happy seeing a determined look on his face as he looks in Natsu’s direction, she looks (Y/N)’s way to see she has the same expression on her face too. Lucy looks back towards Natsu in awe.

The girls Bora and his crew kidnapped can be seen running away from the crash site screaming.

“That’s the way it goes. The bigger the talk, the weaker the man.” He chuckles, turning away, expecting Natsu to be defeated. 

“Aw, this is so gross. Are you sure that you’re really a fire wizard? Because these are the nastiest flames I’ve ever tasted.” Natsu, unharmed from the fire, snarks. Bora turns back in surprise to see Natsu is unscathed and eating his fire. This horrifies Bora and his crew as they scream terror, and Lucy as well.

“Thanks for the grub, poser.” He states in a sarcastic manner.

“What’s going on here? Who is this kid?” One man asked, horrified.

“Fire magic doesn’t work on Natsu.” Happy reveals, an ominous look on his face.

“I’ve never seen anything like that.” Lucy says, alarmed, staring up at the Dragon Slayer.

“Now, I’ve got a fire in my belly that’s raging to get out. Here it goes! FIRE DRAGON ROAR!” as Natsu holds his hands up to his mouth, an orange magic circle forms, and a tremendous gust of fire comes from his mouth, demolishing everything in its path. Lucy and (Y/N) block debris from their face, Lumi hiding behind (Y/N), and Happy watching on unfazed. The ship is turned to ruin, with the crew under the wreckage. Bora escapes the blast of fire by floating on his magic.

“Hey, Bora, I swear I’ve seen these two before. The pink hair and scaly-looking scarf, and the girl with the [Hair Colour] hair and that jacket. There’s no doubt about it. They’ve got to be the real ones.” Minion #3 quavered, as Natsu, through the smoke can be seen, his eyes glowing orange.

“SALAMANDER?! Then you, (Y/N), you must be The Iced Serpent?!” She asked, alarmed. She looks to Natsu, then to (Y/N), who has a very serious look on her face, her gaze sharp.

“I hope you guys are paying attention! This is what a Fairy Tail wizard can do! HERE I COME!” He crouches down slightly, his fists are on fire as he leaps toward Bora.

‘RED SHOWER!” Bora grunts as he shoots fire-like bullets at Natsu as the Dragon Slayer runs at him. Natsu dodges Bora’s attacks and leaps up at him and punches him, as Bora falls to the ground. 

Lucy, watching Natsu from the distance with Happy, (Y/N), and Lumi, is awe-struck. 

“So he eats fire and then attacks with it? But how does he do it? Is it some kind of spell?” Lucy wonders, one hand clutched to her chest, the other by her side.

“He has dragon lungs that allow him to breathe fire, dragon scales to help him to dissolve the fire, and dragon claws for attacking with fire. His brand of fire magic is one that allows his body to take on all the qualities of a dragon. It’s an ancient spell that’s rarely used anymore.” Explains Happy to Lucy.

“Seriously?” She says in shock.

“This particular magic was originally used to deal with dragons. (Y/N) has the same magic but with ice instead of fire.” Happy continues.

“Whoa, really, you too (Y/N)?” She asks in awe.

“Mh-hmm!” (Y/N) confirms with a smile on her face and a nod of her head to Lucy.

Natsu lands on a nearby roof as Bora shakes off the rubble that landed on him. Bora casts “Hell Prominence” at Natsu again, which leaves him unscathed. Bora hurls a giant fire beam at him which he catches and promptly eats. 

“It’s called Dragon Slayer magic. Igneel was the one who taught it to him, Nivalis was the one to teach you, right (Y/N)?” He confirms with her.

“Yep! She was the best teacher I could ask for.” (Y/N) answers back, a wistful smile on her face, as Bora can be heard screaming in the background.

As a last ditch attempt to defeat Natsu, Bora throws a giant fireball at him, which Natsu promptly catches and devours.

“Now, that was a hefty meal. You’re not doing too bad. But I’m about to cook you like a smoked fish!” Natsu proclaims to Bora

“You're gonna do what to me?” Bora starts tearing up, scared at the thought of being cooked like a fish.

“Get ready. FIRE DRAGON IRON FIST!” As he punches Bora, he launches through multiple buildings, and finally into a church bell, making it ring loudly.

“Don’t be silly, Natsu. Everyone knows you smoke food with smoke, not fire.” Happy corrects him in a playful manner.

“Oh, wow. That was amazing. But he overdid it.” Lucy states in astonishment, which quickly switches to concern.

“Aye.” “Yeah…” Both Happy and (Y/N) say in unison.

“Oh, shut it, cat.” Lucy says in response. As she says this, the Royal Army can be seen running towards the crash.

“THE ARMY?!” Lucy shrieks as the army arrives, when suddenly Natsu grabs her forearm and drags her alongside him, (Y/N) running behind them with an excited urgency, her hands on Lucy’s back, as if to push her along.

“Oh, crap, we got to get out of here!” He exclaims, pulling Lucy with him, as they run from the army.

“Where the heck are you taking me?!” Lucy screeches. 

“Just come on! You said that you wanted to join the fairy tail guild, didn’t you?” Natsu questions with a joyous look on his face as he looks back at Lucy.

“So let's go!” (Y/N) continues for him with an overjoyed smile on her face as she looks at Lucy.

“All right!” Lucy, now overcome with a cheerful air to her, runs along with the two Dragon Slayers, as Happy and Lumi fly above them.

She pulls back the curtain to see Natsu sitting in her armchair, (Y/N) sitting on the arm of said chair, Lumi in her arms, and Happy sitting on her coffee table, garbage spread across the floor and table. Natsu and (Y/N) wave to Lucy, looking happy to see her. Happy can be seen sitting on her table eating a fish. Lucy looks at them distressed.

“MY BEDROOM!” Shouts Lucy, “get the heck out of here, you jerks!” She demands as she kicks Natsu and Happy to the opposite wall, crushing their heads with her foot. (Y/N) jumps from the armchair in shock, looking at Lucy in horror at her actions.

"LUCY!" The ice mage shouts in fright at said person, lightly squeezing Lumi in her arms before setting her down on the armchair and rushing over to the trio, Lumi trailing behind her, standing beside Lucy.

“Geez,” begins Natsu, looking saddened at Lucy, rubbing his freshly bruised face, “we just came over to check out your new pad.” 

“Aye.” Happy reiterates. 

“Oh yeah, well, what you call checking out,” she continues to scold, angrily pointing at them as she shouts at the two, “I call barging in! And I’m pretty sure the police would call it ‘breaking and entering’!”

Natsu and Happy look terrified of angry Lucy, (Y/N) grimacing at Lucy's volume as she slowly inches her way beside the two as the blonde continues to point at them in anger. 

“Come on,” Natsu pleads, “we were just trying to be friendly.” He inches closer to Lucy, now standing beside her as (Y/N) follows behind him.

“This is a serious invasion of my privacy.” Lucy looks away annoyed as Natsu continues to plead with her. 

"Lucy, please calm down! We didn't mean to break in!" In an almost panicked worried tone, (Y/N) begs Lucy, as she brings her hands up in a placating manner, a concerned look on her face.

“Nice place you got here.” Happy exclaims, scratching at her walls with his claws.

“Let’s try to keep it that way, all right?!” Lucy throws her hands up in protest behind Happy.

“Hey, what’s all this?” Natsu picks up a pile of papers. (Y/N) looks over his shoulder at the stack of papers he's holding, tilting her head in curiosity. 

“Nothing!” Lucy gasps as she grabs the papers and kicks Natsu under his chin, missing (Y/N) in the process as she ducks, hands covering her head, to avoid the incoming foot, sending Natsu flying. 

Lucy turns away, kneeling with her back turned to the two Dragon Slayers, holding the pages tight to her chest looking embarrassed.

“So you just kicked me in the face over nothing?” Natsu asks with a dejected expression, completely oblivious to why he got kicked.

“Yeah,” said Lucy, “maybe I would. Now can you please just go home?” She exclaims as she trembles with tears in her eyes from the potential embarrassment of the two reading her stories. 

“Oh, but your place is way more exciting,” Natsu said cheerfully, (Y/N) nodded her head in agreement, looking just as cheerful as the aforementioned boy. 

“I hate boys.” Lucy cries to herself.

~ Time Skip ~

Lucy, now dressed, is sitting at her table, resting her check in her hand. She has an annoyed look on her face. (Y/N) sits to her left, as Natsu sits across from the Celestial mage, Lumi and Happy in front of their respective mages on the table.

Lucy lets out an exasperated breath, “look, I just moved in and I’m not ready for guests. So how about you four just drink your tea, say thanks, and get out? You got that?”

“Talk about coldhearted.” Natsu murmurs head tilted down, his eyes closed, dejected.

“Ice cold.” Agreed Happy.

“Watch it, cat.” Lucy growls at him.

"Guys, be nice." (Y/N) half-heartedly scolds the two, leaning on her arms. 

“Hey, I know!” Natsu perks up, “why don’t you show us all those weird little key guys that you like to collect?”

“For your information,” she begins as she tilts her head away, side eyeing the two across from her in annoyance, “they're called celestial spirits.” 

Natsu has a look of awe as he crosses his arms over the table intent to learn more, (Y/N), arms resting on the table in front of her, has a similar look on her face as she and Lumi lean in to hear more. 

“How many of these celestial spirits do you have contracts with?” Inquires Happy, standing on the table.

“Six so far,” Lucy pulls out her key ring, proudly, “not to brag or anything, but I even have a couple different types of them. The silver keys are one you can find in the magic shops. I’ve got Horologium the clock, Crux the southern cross, and Lyra the harp." She explains to the four, "But the gold ones are super rare. There are twelve total and they open the gates of the zodiac. I’ve got Taurus the golden bull, Aquarius the water bearer. And the last one is Cancer the giant crab." She finishes her explanation to the four as Natsu and Happy have a look of awe on their face at the mention of a giant crab.

“A giant crab?!” Both Natsu and Happy gasp in amazement, both drooling in hunger.

“Giant crab legs!” Happy says excitedly.

“I’ve never met anyone as obsessed with food as these two.” Lucy says with a deadpan expression, sweat dropping.

"You'll get used to it." (Y/N) says to Lucy with a slight giggle in her voice and a somewhat similar expression as the Celestial Wizard.

Lucy puts her fist on her palm as she looks up slightly, as if remembering something. 

“That reminds me. I need to make a contract with the key I got from Hargeon.” Lucy states.

Happy has his paws on his face with his eyes closed, still day dreaming about giant crabs. Natsu and (Y/N) stare blankly at Lucy. She stands up in excitement, hands on the table, leaning toward the two.

“I don’t suppose you guys are interested in seeing how a Celestial Wizard makes a contract with a celestial spirit.”

Lucy stands up straight and brings her hand to her side. She smiles and winks at Natsu and (Y/N). The fire mage raises his head slightly, mouth opened in curious wonder at what Lucy is about to reveal. (Y/N), also intrigued by Lucy's statement, perks up as well. 

Natsu and Happy whisper to each other, speculating what Lucy is about to do.

“I hope it’s not some grotty blood pact.” Whispers Happy to Natsu. 

“Well, it sounds like a pain in the butt to me.” Natsu whispers back.

“Um, I can hear you, so leave my butt out of this.” Annoyed by the two, Lucy has her back turned to them with an unimpressed look upon her face. (Y/N) used to their antics, sweat drops, as she's still sitting, but now leaning over the table, hugging Lumi to her, burying her face in Lumi's fur. (Y/N) then gets up to stand beside Natsu and Happy as she holds Lumi to her chest.

Lucy turns to her right, her left hand is on her hip and her right arm is holding the Key of the Little Dog up by her face. She's looking at Natsu, (Y/N), and the two cats. 

“All right,” begins Lucy, “pay attention. I call upon thee in the world of the celestial spirits. I beckon you to my side at once. Pass through the gate!” She summons the spirit.

She extends her right arm and points the key forward, eyes closed and her facial expression serious. She places her left hand on her chest as she summons the little dog. Natsu has his arms crossed, as he watches. Happy is standing eyes wide, arms fully extended by his sides. (Y/N) stands beside the two with an interested look on her face, Lumi's expression similar.

A light appears in the room by Lucy as a magic circle appears below her. She swings her arm to her right and over her head and then swings her arm vertically down. 

“Open, gate of Canis MInor. Come, Nichola!” She finishes the spell as a head is formed from the light, a body following it. A small snowman-looking creature appears before them. The creature is all white save for their nose, which is orange and shaped like a cone. The creature has a large smile on its face as it shakes. 

Natsu and Happy stare dumbfounded at the celestial spirit Lucy just summoned, they both look unimpressed. (Y/N) and Lumi have a look of awe on their faces as they look at the adorable creature. 

“Nice try.” Both Natsu and Happy raise their hands toward Lucy, as they wave at her with their eyes closed remorsefully.

“Shut up! I meant to do that!” Lucy shouts, infuriated at the two, leaning towards them slightly with her arms extended down and to her sides. The spirit stands between them still shaking. 

"Aww, Lucy! He's adorable!" (Y/N) states, right arm holding onto Lumi as her left hand comes up to her mouth in a loose fist covering it, a fond expression on her face.

The spirit looks up at Lucy. She then drops to her knees to hug the little guy, smiling joyfully, (Y/N) sits beside Lucy, as she and Lumi fawn over the spirit as well. Natsu and Happy have a look of disbelief on their faces. 

“Aww, you are such a cutie-patootie.” She fawns over the spirit, still kneeling on the floor

“You think so?” Still in disbelief, Natsu says in an off-handed manner.

“It doesn’t take much magic power to get these little guys through the gate. So a lot of wizards actually keep them as pets.” With a pleased expression, Lucy tells the others.

Natsu and Happy murmur loudly to each other again, with a slight concerned look across their faces.

“You know, this whole pet thing doesn’t sit well with me.” Happy, flying up beside Natsu's head, loudly whispers to him. “Not with a weird master like loony here.” Natsu whispers back just as loud as Happy.

“My name is Lucy and I can still hear you.” Lucy corrects them, annoyance clear in her tone.

Lucy is on her knees on the floor before the spirit, finalizing the contract. She looks quite happy as she writes down the specifications of the contract. The spirit stands uncertainty.

“Well, let’s start working on our contract.” Lucy tells the spirit.

The spirit warbles at Lucy, raising a hand in agreement.

“Are you free Mondays?” 

"Mm-mmm." Canis Minor shakes their head. 

“Tuesdays?” 

"Mm-hmm." Canis Minor nods at her.

“Wednesdays?” Lucy smiles at the spirit. 

As Lucy and the spirit continue scheduling days, the other four look on at Lucy and Canis Minor. They're seated at the table again; Natsu and (Y/N) are now drinking tea as Happy and Lumi eat fish. Their pupils are very dilated as they look at the celestial mage. 

“This is boring.” Natsu murmurs into his teacup.

"Maybe, just a bit…" (Y/N) agrees with him with a bit of a grimace.

“Mm-hmm.” Happy agrees with both.

Lucy, finished with the contract, looks quite pleased with herself. 

“Great, well that about does it.” She smiles to herself.

Canis Minor does a little jump in celebration. 

Natsu stands behind Lucy with Happy on his shoulder, arms crossed, (Y/N) and Lumi beside him in a similar pose. 

“That was pretty easy.” Happy says.

“Yep.” Says Natsu, (Y/N) and Lumi nod their heads in silent agreement.

“It may seem silly to you, but it’s really important." Lucy raises her hand to her shoulder and points her index finger and thumb fully extended. "You see, a Celestial Wizard’s contract relies on the promise that’s made between the wizard and the spirit, which is why I make it a point to keep my promises. Got it?”

“Oh yeah.” Natsu replies, sounding very uninterested. 

Lucy is kneeling on the floor once more, back turned to the other four who are now sitting at the table once again. Happy stands on the table. (Y/N)'s sitting side saddle on the chair closest to Lucy, her chin resting on arms as they rest on the back of the chair as Lumi sits on the table, unlike Happy, behind her. She has a slightly uninterested expression as she watches the celestial mage.

Lucy puts her fist on her palm as she looks up slightly as she stares up smiling. Canis Minor has their back turned to the group. 

“Okay, now I just need to come up with a name.” Lucy says excitedly.

“Isn’t it Nichola?” Asks Happy.

“No, that’s the species.” Lucy, baffled at his response, turns and frowns at Happy, the spirit turning with her.

“Oh I know!" She has a wide, closed mouth smile, both her hands by her face as she makes an "L" shape with her index and thumb. "Come here Plue!” 

Lucy extends her arms out to the newly named Plue. Natsu and Happy look on in confusion. Lucy is hugging Plue, smiling widely and eyes closed.

“Plue, huh?” Natsu and Happy look at Plue with concern. 

“I think it’s like the cutest name ever. Right, little Plue?” Lucy is hugging said spirit tightly in her arms as she sits on the floor. (Y/N) nods her head in agreement with Lucy, a closed eyed smile at the name choice.

“Are you sure he’s cool with that?” Asks Natsu, slightly concerned. (Y/N) turns her head to the right to him looking at him in confusion, tilting her head at the question.

"What do you mean?" (Y/N) asks him, confused at the question.

“Why wouldn’t he be?” Wondering the same, Lucy questions him.

“So even though his sign is the little dog, he doesn’t bark? That’s kinda weird.” Speculates Happy.

“Well, I don’t hear you meowing over there, buddy.” Lucy sets Plue down. He starts doing a little dance. ”Woah, what’s he doing?” She questions. 

“Oh, man, you’re right about that, Plue.” Natsu laughs and gives a thumbs up. Plue smiles and gives Natsu a thumbs up as well.  

“You can understand him?!” Lucy is shocked that they were able to communicate. (Y/N), shocked as well, moves from resting her chin on her arms, to resting her hands on the back of the chair, leaning forward, her expression similar to Lucy's.

Natsu looks very serious as he silently stares at Lucy while she crouches with her back turned to him, hands clasped together looking uncomfortable.

“What is your deal?” She questions him, concerned by his sudden serious manner.

Natsu abruptly stands up, smiling at her. 

“All right, then it’s settled. You’re both going to be part of our team.” Natsu declares to Lucy.

"Great idea, Natsu!" (Y/N) smiles at him as she stands up, one of her knees on the seat, her hands resting on the back of the chair.

“Go team!” Happy jumps above Natsu with his arms and legs fully stretched out. 

“Your team?” Lucy looks up at them, intrigued. (Y/N) goes to stand beside Natsu, holding Lumi in her arms as she does so.

“Aye, even though everybody in the guild is allied to one another, some members that get along really well get together and form teams within the guild. That way, jobs that may be too hard for one person to take can get done by a team.” Happy readily provides exposition to Lucy.

“Awsome, let's do it!” She raises her fists in excitement.

Natsu and Lucy tap the top and bottom of each other's fists with their fists, then they high five. Lucy then goes to do the same handshake with (Y/N)

“Cool, so you’re gonna work with us?” Asks Natsu.

“Yep, you have my word.” Lucy states.

“Right on!” Happy says as he and Plue jump up.

Lucy has her hands clasped together down at her waist, eyes closed in excitement.

“Okay, team, then let's get to work. I’ve got our first job right here.” Natsu joyfully shows Lucy the job they are going on.

“It’s all happening so fast. Let me see what you got there.” Lucy grabs the job posting from Natsu and looks at it. He turns his head to (Y/N) with a sinister grin on his face.

"Uh oh, what's with that face Natsu?" Concerned, (Y/N) goes to stand beside Lucy to read the job in the latters hands, Lumi on her back holding onto her shoulder.

“So it’s in Shirotsume, huh?” Lucy reads it as Happy and Plue dance together. “No way! 200,000 Jewel! Just for taking a book from some rich guy named Duke Everlue.”

“Should be a piece of cake, right?” Natsu has his arms crossed, grinning. 

"Almost seems too easy…" (Y/N), skeptical, raises an eyebrow, narrowing her eyes at the aforementioned boy.

Lucy and (Y/N) lean in to read the fine print. “Please note: Everlue’s a dirty old man who’s currently looking for maids with blonde and blue hair.”

Lucy looks horrified and Natsu and Happy turn and smirk at each other. 

"I knew it! Natsu, Why're you dragging Lucy into this?" Crossing her arms under her chest, pouting at the boy and cat.

As Happy and Plue are on the table, they high fived each other. Natsu faces them, hand on his chin as Lucy's on her hands and knees in despair in the background behind him. (Y/N) stands close to her, hands on her hips, facing Natsu, leaning forward slightly, a pout on her face.

“We know a couple of blonde-haired and blue-haired girls, don’t we?” Natsu says to Happy, a mischievous smile on his face.

“Yup, and I bet we can find them a maid’s uniform.” Happy scheming back.

“Why you sneaky little–” Lucy, hunched over the job request, looking back at Natsu and Happy in disbelief, “That’s not fair!” She cries out in despair, hands grabbing at her head.

"So, that's why you invited Lucy to join our team…" She mutters to herself, arms still crossed, but this time shaking her head and eyes closed in disappointment at the two.

“It’s a good thing that Celestial Wizards never go back on their word. ‘Cause now you’re stuck with us.” Natsu smirks, nodding to himself, his hand in a fist with his pointer finger and thumb on his chin, and is now at the table facing Happy and Plue.

“But you tricked me!” Shouts Lucy, her soul seemingly leaving her body as she kneels with her hands planted on the floor, head turned away from Natsu. (Y/N), leaning beside Lucy, her left hand on her knee, pats her back in sympathy. Lumi, standing next to Lucy as well, pats her arm. 

“Oh, lighten up, would you? Now try getting into character and address Happy and me as your master.” Natsu says to Lucy, quite proud of himself for tricking the celestial mage.

“No way!” Lucy exclaims at him.

~ Location Change ~

Three wizards are peering at the job board at the guild hall in disappointment. Levy and friends stand before the job board. They look at the board in disappointment. 

“Ugh! Darn. Did somebody already take that book-stealing gig?” Asks Levy in dismay. “That one paid 200,000 jewel.” 

Mirajane passes behind them, carrying a pile of plates and other dishes. 

“Sorry, I guess Natsu, (Y/N), and Lucy got to it first.” Mirajane informs them cheerfully as she carries plates and bowls in her hands.

Levy sighs heavily. “I really could have used that money.”

“Don’t despair. It’s probably for the best, Levy. It’s changed.” Makorov says, eyes closed as he sits on the bar counter. Gray is sitting across from him with his shirt nowhere to be seen.

“What do you mean?” Asks Levy.

“I was just contacted by the client concerning that job.” Makarov continues. Gray sits adjacent to him on a bar stool. He appears to have lost his shirt somewhere.

“Oh, did they cancel it?” Asks Mirajane, who is now standing in front of Makorov.

“No. Quite the opposite.” Makorov raises his head, a shadow is cast upon his face by his hat as he looks quite serious. “In fact, the reward has been increased. It’s now 2 million jewel.”

“2 million jewel?!” Levy says in shock.

“They paid that much for some stupid book?” Droy asks in just as much surprise as Levy. “That’s almost like fighting monsters kind of pay.” Jet states in shock like the other two.

“Did they give any reason why?” Asks Mirajane to Makarov.

“Maybe we’re lucky we missed it.” Says Droy to Levy and Jet.

“Let’s find another job.” Jet says to Levy and Droy.

“It looks like this job just got interesting.” Gray says to no one in particular. 

“Oh, Gray, nice skivvies.” Mirajane says to Gray.

“Hmm.” Gray suddenly panics and screams as he realizes he's once again in his underwear. 

~ Back to Natsu and Friends ~

“Are you enjoying your carriage ride today, Master?” Lucy taunts Natsu. “Anything I can get for you?” 

“I could really use a barf bag right about now.” Natsu groans out.

"Mm-hmm." (Y/N) struggles out, making an attempt to agree with the statement.

“I’m playing the part of the master so I should be giving the orders.” Happy shouts as he waves his arms in the air in frustration. 

“Shut up, you stupid feline!” Lucy shouts at him.

Natsu and friends are in a carriage being pulled by a purple boar creature. The fire Dragon Slayer is sitting across from Happy and Lucy, he has his arms crossed and looks a little nauseous, (Y/N), leaning her back against him, is in a similar predicament. The Celestial mage is talking to him intently while Happy and Lumi are turned to the back of the carriage, both eating a fish.

“Oh, hey, Natsu?” Lucy asks the motion sick boy.

“What’s up?” Natsu groans out.

“I was wondering why you picked me to join your team.” Lucy inquires to Natsu.  

“‘Cause you seem like a nice person.” Natsu responds.

‘Whoa, did I actually just get a compliment from this guy?’ Lucy is shocked at the nice statement.

“But you’re just so weird.” He utters out.

Lucy takes offence to this comment, scowling at him, balling her hands into fists as she puts them on her lap and raises her shoulders in anger. 

‘The fire eater with the talking cat thinks I’m weird?’ 

"Be nice…" (Y/N) groans in misery out to him.

“Anyways, I’m totally stoked about my first job. I know I’m going to rock it” Lucy says this as she puts her left hand on her bicep and flexes it. Natsu and (Y/N) are sweating profusely from their motion sickness.

“Really? I thought you were upset about it.” Asks Happy.

“Yeah, I was at first, but if this perv likes pretty girls, I’m perfect for the job, right?” She puts a hand to her face in a mock flirtatious way, looking down at Happy from the corner of her eye.

“All you humans kind of look the same to me.” Happy states, as Lucy goes from joyful to a stunned expression.

“I think it’s time we worked out our pay scale. Since (Y/N) and I are doing all the work, I think we should split the reward 40, 40, 10, and 10.”

“You only want 10%?” Inquires Happy.

“I’m one of the 40%'s” Lucy shouts at him.

~ Time Skip ~

'The town of Shirotsume.' Informs the Narrator.

They have arrived in Shirotsume Town. Natsu is walking slightly ahead of Happy, (Y/N) and Lucy, hunched over carrying his bags on his back. They're walking down a busy street with many shop stands and people. 

“That’s the last time I’m riding one of those.” Natsu proclaims.

"Ain't that the truth…" (Y/N) agrees with him as she's hunched over, holding her stomach, Lumi on her back holding onto her left shoulder.

“You say that everytime.” Happy reminds him.

“Man, I’m starving.” Natsu grumbles.

“Can’t you just guys just eat your own fire and ice?” Lucy foolishly asks the two Dragon Slayers.

“Oh, yeah, that’s a great idea. Why don’t you just eat Plue or your cow while we're at it.” Natsu retorts sarcastically.

“Why would I do something like that?” Lucy, incredulous at the idea Natsu proposed, questions him in an incredulous tone.

“It’s kind of the same thing.” He grumbles out to her.

“So let me get this straight. You can guys eat fire and ice, just not your own? That’s kind of lame.”  

As they continue on, Natsu sees a restaurant and motions to it with his thumb, eager to go inside. 

“Whoa, let’s stop and get a bite!” As he motions to the building, he has a large smile on his face as gesturing to the restaurant.  

“Nah, I’m all right, but you two enjoy. C'mon, (Y/N) let's go get changed.” 

"Yeah, yeah, I'm coming. Save some food for us, 'kay guys?" She responds over her shoulder, at the two, arms now by her side as her motion sickness subsides, Lumi still holding onto her shoulder as the three follow Lucy.

The two girls and cat walk on, leaving Natsu and Happy to go into the restaurant without her. Natsu crosses his arms as Lucy and (Y/N) walk off, Happy standing on his rolled up sleeping bag.

“What is it with her? We should be eating together as a team.” He comments, confused, folding his arms looking in the direction the two girls went in.

“Oh well.” Happy comments.

~ Short Timeskip ~

Natsu and Happy are seated at a table on the patio of the restaurant. They have many plates of food, including two large plates of some sort of meat. Natsu holds large meat drumsticks(?)  in each hand as he eats from the one in his left, while Happy sits on the table, eating sushi across from Natsu.

“Be sure that you save all the fat stuff for Lucy.” Natsu says with his mouth full of food.

“Yeah, from the looks of her, that’s what she likes the most.” Happy says while stuffing his face.

“Hold it right there, cat.” Lucy and (Y/N) appear behind Happy. The former has her hands on her hips in a maid uniform, her hair in twintails. (Y/N), standing beside her, is in the same maid uniform, her hair in a similar hairstyle as Lucy. “What the heck is that supposed to mean?”

“Hey. Lucy?” Natsu startles at the appearance of the two girls

“Come on. Don’t be shy, boys. I know we look super cute in this uniform.” Lucy states.

Natsu and Happy are shocked that Lucy and (Y/N) are wearing maid uniforms, and gasp in horror, their food falling from their mouths.

“Have you had enough food, master? Or shall I bring you some more? Your wish is my command.” Lucy says as her hands are together, fingers at her mouth, as she pivots side to side. (Y/N) stands beside her, a slight blush on her cheeks as she looks to the side, one arm down in front of her, her hand in a fist, as she pulls at the side of her vest, grumbling to herself that it's 'too tight'.

Natsu and Happy whisper to each other with concern. 

“What do we do? We were joking about the costumes, but they took it seriously.” The cat loudly whispers to Natsu.

“I guess we’re just gonna have to go along with it. Don’t say anything, okay?” The fire mage, in a similar volume to Happy, whispers back.

“We can hear you.” Lucy and (Y/N) are quite annoyed with the two of them. 

~ Timeskip to Kaby Melon's Mansion ~

They arrive at the mansion, its roof has three sections evenly spread out where the gable end faces the front; these sections are higher than the rest of the roof. The middle gable section has two long vertical windows that go the length of the top section. The roof is a sort of blue, while the walls are a cream colour, there's a large green door at the entrance to the mansion. 

The group is seated on a long couch, Natsu on the end of the couch with Happy to his right, (Y/N) (with Lumi on her lap) is beside Happy, and Lucy is to (Y/N)'s right, they're across from Kaby Melon (who has an unfortunate mustache), behind him is his wife. A table separates the two parties.

“My name’s Kaby Melon. Pleased to meet you.” He introduces himself to the group of wizards.

“He said melon!” Happy drools at the mention of food.

“Oh, man, you have a tasty last name!” Natsu has a similar expression as he hears Kaby's surname.

“Quit being rude, guys.” Lucy scolds the two, (Y/N) looks at them with the same stern expression as her.

Kaby laughs. “Don’t worry. I get that a lot.”

‘Why does his name sound familiar?’ Lucy questions to herself.

“Well, first things first. Allow me to tell you about the job." 

“Go on.” Happy raises a paw. Natsu leans in as (Y/N) and Lucy sit up straight in attention. Kaby leans forward on the couch, hands clasped together with his elbows resting on his knees. 

“It’s pretty straight forward, really. Duke Everlue has a book called ‘Daybreak’ in his possession. I would like you to burn it for me.” He explains to the group in a solemn tone.

“No prob.” Natsu “I’ll burn the whole place down if you want.”

Natsu is happy to demonstrate that he is a fire wizard by pointing his index finger up and producing a small flame on the tip of said finger. He smiles at his demonstration.

“He really likes fire.” (Y/N) offhandedly comments to Kaby.

“I’m not going to jail for arson because of the three of you." She scolds them as Natsu and Happy cross their arms and pout at Lucy, while (Y/N) and Lumi just sweat drops at their actions, Lucy then directs her attention back to Kaby, "May I ask why, sir?”

“For 200,000 jewel, who the heck cares?” Irritated, Natsu complains to Lucy.

“The reward has been raised to 2 million.” Kaby informs the wizards.

“2 million?!” They all say in disbelief, as they're astonished at the raise in jewel as their souls seemingly leave their bodies.

“I’m sorry, I thought you were aware the amount had changed.” Bemused, Kaby sits up, his clasped hands in between his knees

“2 million split three ways?" Natsu, in awe at the new amount, seems to get dizzy attempting to do the math on his fingers to split the jewel four ways. "Wow! I stink at math, but that’s a lot!” He stands up and grabs at his head, hands over his eyes as he fails to do the calculations.

“Wait, I got it. I get 1 million. You get 1 million. And Lucy and (Y/N) get the rest.” Happy dizzy as he explains his poor calculations. 

“That sure sounds fair to me.” Natsu, dazed with the prospect of 1 million jewel for him, agrees with Happy, sitting back down in the process.

“Aye.” 

“But that leaves us with nothing!” Lucy says angrily at the two. “Why’d you raise the reward?” She questions, with her attention back on Kaby, her demeanor now calm.

Kaby has a melancholy look on his face. He leans forward on the couch, hands gripping each other with his elbows resting on his knees again. 

“Well, because it means that much to me. That book must be destroyed, no matter the cost.”

Natsu has his arms crossed, then his head bursts into flames. Lucy, (Y/N), and Lumi are startled at his head being suddenly aflame. Happy is simply sitting between the two with not much between his ears. 

“Ah!” She exclaims, hiding behind (Y/N) as the latter slightly leans away from Natsu, a startled look on her face.

“Oh yeah! I am fired up now. Let’s do this, Lucy, (Y/N)!” Natsu grabs Lucy by her wrist, (Y/N), with Lumi on her back and clinging onto her shoulder, follows closely behind the two. The group runs out of the mansion toward their target.

“Hey, wait a sec!” Lucy exclaims as Natsu drags her out.

~ Back at with Kaby ~

Kaby sits with his head tilted down, his elbows on his knees as he leans forward.

"'Daybreak…' it must be burned. It cannot be allowed to exist any longer.

~ Time Skip ~

"Welcome to Duke Everlue's mansion." Provides the Narrator.

The group arrives at Duke Everlue’s Residence. Lucy and (Y/N) are at the gates as Natsu, Happy, and Lumi are hiding behind a tree, watching what the other two are doing. 

“Excuse me, we heard you had an opening for a maid position. Hello?” Right hand to her mouth, the other straight by her side as she leans forward slightly, Lucy shouts in an attempt to get the Duke's attention. (Y/N) stands beside her, head tilted to her right with a bored look on her face, arms folded under her chest, resting her weight on her right leg, her hip jutting out to the right.

‘Wow this geezer with our looks, burn some stupid book, and collect 2 million jewel. This’ll be sweet.’ Lucy has a grimace on her face as she internally monologues.

“Don’t screw up, okay?” Natsu loudly whispers his encouraging words to Lucy and (Y/N). 

“Break a leg.” Happy says to the two with the same volume.

The tiled ground behind the two girls begins to shake and pulse. A giant woman shoots out of the ground and into the air, freaking the two mages out as Lucy screams in shock. The muscular woman lands before Lucy and (Y/N). She's dressed in the same maid outfit as Lucy and (Y/N) with pink hair and glowing yellow eyes. 

“So you’re maids?” She asks the two mages.

“Yeah.” Lucy answers for both her and (Y/N), unsure.

“I assume you are here ‘cause you saw the ad that the master placed in the paper.”

“Boyoyoyo!” A man jumps out of the hole the giant maid created.

The man has a disgusting mustache coming out of his nostrils. He is wearing a suit with a rose pinned to his left breast pocket, and a large button that closes the suit jacket together. His arms are abducted and flexed. He is twiddling his ugly mustache with his left index finger and thumb, while his middle and ring finger are closed and his pinky finger is raised. His right thumb and pinky are also out while the other fingers are down. He has a doltish look about him.

“Did I hear someone say ‘master’?” Duke Everlue asks.

'More like monster.' The thought goes through both Lucy and (Y/N)'s heads as they're shocked at the appearance of Duke Everlue.

“Let’s see here.” He examines the two girls, hand on his chin in thought as he looks upon them. Lucy has her hand on her check, (Y/N) on the other hand has her hands clasped in front of her down by her skirt as they both smile the best they can at the short grotesque man. 

“Well, we sure hope you like what you see.” Lucy leans forwards a bit.

‘Oh, man, he is creeping me out. Stay strong Lucy.’ The aforementioned girl starts to sweat as she attempts to hold it together, (Y/N) in a similar state as the former.

After a short time of "consideration", the man turns from Lucy and (Y/N) with a face of disapproval.

“I’ll pass. Now scram, uglies.” Everlue turns, waving his hand as if to shoo them away. The two girls react as though they've been shot by this insult.

“You heard the man. Get going, ugly.” The giant woman picks Lucy and (Y/N) up by the back of their clothes. The two are devastated after being called ugly twice, (Y/N) less than Lucy, but it seems to have the same effect more-or-less.

“Sorry, but a man of my standing has certain standards to uphold.” He turns back towards the two mages as he says this. 

Four people emerge from the ground behind the appalling man. 

“That’s why I only hire the fairest of the fair.” (Y/N) and Lucy have looks of disbelief at this. The maids then crowd around Everlue.

"Huh?" Lucy and (Y/N) moan out simultaneously at this.

"Oh, you're just the best, master." Maid #1

"I've never met such a kind-hearted man." Maid #2

"I think you're the sweetest guy alive." Maid #3

"Why don't you run along home, uglies?" Maid #4

Lucy and (Y/N) cry out at the insults being thrown their way.

~ Short Timeskip ~

Lucy is sitting with her back to a tree, knees to her chest. She is quite upset. (Y/N) sits beside her, right hand patting Lucy's shoulder to comfort her, the other resting on Lumi's head as if to comfort herself as Natsu and Happy stand before them. 

“Just couldn’t do it, huh?” Natsu has his arms crossed looking down at the three. 

“We tried!” Lucy cries at him. “But that idiot wouldn’t know beauty if it bit him in the behind!”

“Uh-huh.” Happy says, not sounding convinced. 

“This stinks…!” Lucy cries harder, tears flowing endlessly from her tear ducts.  

Natsu punches his fist into his palm. He has a look of absolute excitement. 

“Okay, I guess we’ll have to resort to old Plan T.” He exclaims. 

Lucy stands with her fist raised, tears now gone from her eyes. Her fist is raised and she has a determined expression on her face. (Y/N) stands with her, a similar look of determination on her face.

“Yeah, that big fat jerk’s going to pay for this.” Lucy says angrily. “Wait a sec, what’s Plan T?”

“Take ‘em by storm!” (Y/N) and Happy excitedly say.

“That’s not a plan!” Lucy says in annoyance.

~ Somewhere else ~

Everlue sits in front of his orb in his dark lair. Behind him are two shadowy figures. 

“So it seems we have another group of wizards at our door. And these are from Fairy Tail."

~ Time Skip ~

Natsu kneels in front of one of the windows and puts his palm to it to melt the glass. The group is now on the roof of the mansion, while Lucy and (Y/N) are no longer in maid outfits.

“Whoopsie daisy.” Happy gently drops Lucy behind Natsu as (Y/N) and Lumi stand beside him.

“Thanks a lot, Happy.” Lucy thanks Happy as he sets her down on the roof.

“Aye.” Happy welcomes Lucy. “Geez.” Natsu looks annoyed at Lucy, “This isn’t really taking ‘em by storm, you know. I think we should have just busted right in through the front door.” Lucy has her arms crossed with her back turned to Natsu, looking annoyed.

“What did I tell you before? I’m not going to jail ‘cause of you.” She reminds him in annoyance, looking back at him.

“Yeah, but I thought you were out to get revenge on this guy.” Natsu whispers back at her. 

“Oh, I’ll get my revenge. Not only am I going to burn his book, but I’m going to use his toothbrush to clean the toilet.” Lucy has a sinister look on her face as she chuckles to herself.

“That is totally gross.” Natsu says with disgust.

"That's nasty, Lucy." With an equally disgusted look on her and Lumi's face as they looks at the blonde.

“Totally.” Happy reiterates. 

The group enters a storage room. There are many bookshelves and boxes in the room, with various clutter about the place. A suit of armour stands between two bookshelves with a battle axe upon the wall. 

“Woah, is this some kind of weird store room?” Lucy asks as she walks around the room.

“RAARW!” Happy scares Lucy with a skull he found upon his head. This startles her as she falls and catches herself on the wall. Natsu squats down next to Happy while he jumps excitedly. 

"Ah! Lucy, are you okay?" (Y/N) goes over to Lucy, concerned for her health.

"Yeah… all good… ughh." She groans out to the ice mage.

“Check me out!” Happy exclaims to Natsu jumping in excitement.

“Yeah! You’re looking fierce, Happy.” Natsu laughs with him.

The group splits up look in rooms to try and find where the book could be. They meet up and sneakily shuffle sideways across the floor to another door. There is a giant gold statue of Everlue in the main hall. 

“Are we gonna have to search every room in this place?” Natsu looks to Lucy.

“Well, yeah.” Lucy looks back at him. 

“I think we should take a hostage and force them to tell us where the book is.” Natsu states in complete seriousness.

“Aye.” Happy jumps as he agrees with him.

“Kind of the whole idea here is not to be seen, you dummy. You’ve got to be stealthy, like a ninja” Lucy takes a step from the wall, (Y/N) following her action. 

“Like a real ninja.” Natsu drools as he daydreams about being a ninja.

“What’s going on inside that head of yours?” Lucy sweat drops at his behaviour.

"Like I said earlier, you get used to it." With a smile on her face and a slight chuckle, she light-heartedly responds to Lucy's rhetorical question.

Suddenly, the four maids from before appear from the ground behind the group, wielding poles.

“Intruder alert, Virgo!” The four maids say as they jump through the ground, creating a large hole from where they come from.  The giant maid, apparently named Virgo, leaps in the air in front of them.

“Let’s crush ‘em, girls!” Virgo bellows.

“We’re toast!” Lucy exclaims in a panicked state, Happy then screams with the skull still on his head, scaring the four maids, with the exception of Virgo.

“It’s a monster!” The maids whimper and cry out in horror.

“Ninja power!” Natsu then punches the four maids away into the ceiling.

“Flying Virgo attack.” Virgo jumps and belly flops on Natsu, to the surprise of the other four mages.

“Oh no!” Worried for the fire mage, Lucy, (Y/N), and Happy cry out in response.

“Hey, you could take off that mask now.” The celestial mage mentions to Happy.

Natsu lifts Virgo off of him into the air, a red magic circle appears beneath his feet. He kicks Virgo, his scarf covering his face, leaving space for his eyes. The maid crashes to the ground in front of Everlue's large gold statue, as Natsu stands with his hands in fists one on top of eachother with index fingers pointed up. Happy is on his right shoulder doing the same pose. Lucy and (Y/N) are behind them looking exhausted with the two.  

“We mustn’t let ourselves be discovered. We are ninja.” Natsu mutters out.

“Ninja.” Happy echoes Natsu.

"Bit late for that, don't you think…" (Y/N) mutters out, Lumi nodding her head in agreement.

“Ninja’s are supposed to be quiet, guys.” Lucy says in defeat looking at the two, (Y/N) stands beside her holding Lumi in her arms, as both sweat drop at Natsu and Happy's antics. 

Lucy and Natsu open a door slowly, the latter with his foot, still doing a ninja act. There is a great library inside with tall bookshelves against the walls. The group stands in the middle of the room, looking around at the books lining the walls. 

“Whoa, there are many books in this library.” Natsu comments.

“Aye, there are, indeed.” Happy, still doing the ninja act as well, agrees.

“Wow, who would have thought that Everlue’s a major bookworm?” Lucy, in awe, wonders out loud.

Natsu takes his scarf from his face as he and Happy turn around and jump excitedly at the prospect of looking for 'Daybreak'. 

“Let’s start looking!” Natsu excitedly hops back and forth on each foot as he turns back to Lucy and (Y/N)'s direction. 

“Aye, sir!” Happy shares Natsu’s enthusiasm. 

Lucy's at the top of one of the ladders, looking at books on the top shelf. (Y/N) and Lumi are at the same wall of books as Lucy looking at the lower shelves, Natsu's looking through books on one of the lower shelves across from the two girls. Happy is staring at books beside Natsu, not seeming to know what he is doing. 

“How are we ever gonna find one stupid book in this place?” Lucy wonders out loud, mostly to herself, (Y/N) and Lumi nod absentmindedly in agreement.

“Ooh, this one has lots of pictures.” Natsu points out one book, distracted. Lucy looks down in Natsu and Happy's direction, annoyed they're not being serious.

“Look, it’s a book on fish.” Happy wishes to read about his special interest, fish.

“Check out this one. It’s sparkly.” Natsu excitedly pulls a book from the shelf, it's yellow with blue text on the front and has a sparkly quality to it. Happy jumps happily around Natsu. Lucy is now down on the floor, standing before Natsu and Happy, (Y/N), Lumi on her shoulder, goes to stand beside the celestial mage as Lucy scolds the two.

“Hey, would you get serious and start looking for the book we need?” Lucy then gasps as she notices the title of the book. “It’s ‘Daybreak’” 

“Have we been here that long?” Happy wonders, oblivious to the book title.

“You found it.” Lucy says in astonishment. The group is in shock that Natsu was able to find it in such a short amount of time.

“Natsu found it.” Happy says in surprise.

“I did?” Natsu says in disbelief at himself. 

"Great job, Natsu!" (Y/N) compliments the fire mage.

“2 million jewel, here we come.” Lucy, quite giddy, has her hands to her mouth in disbelief.

“Let’s spark it up.” Natsu summons fire in the hand not holding the book, ready to burn it to ashes.

“That was so easy.” Happy comments.

“Hold on a second." Before Natsu could burn it Lucy grabs the book away from him. She recognizes the author and explains in excitement all the works they have done in the past. "I didn’t realize this was written by Kemu Zaleon.” She stares intently at the book cover. 

Natsu and (Y/N) have a look of complete confusion across their faces as Lucy gushes about the novelist.

“Zale-what?” Natsu says with a questioning look as he puts out his fire.

“Zaleon was a great wizard and an amazing novelist. I’m such a big fan! I was totally positive that I’d read every single sentence he’d ever written, but this must be an unpublished novel!” Lucy holds the book to her chest with excitement.

"I think I've heard of him before." (Y/N) looks up in thought, furrowing her eyebrows, bringing her right pointer finger and thumb to her chin, her left coming to cup her elbow, as she ponders the author's name. 

“Oh, yeah, who cares? It all burns the same to me.” Natsu points his finger up and a small flame radiates from his finger tip. Lucy holds the book close to her in horror, turning away from him. 

“Don’t you dare touch it. This is a great work of literature. You better stay away from it, pyro.” Lucy says with great concern looking back at him over her shoulder. 

“But what about our mission?” Happy reminds Lucy ominously.

“Just forget about the stupid mission.” Lucy demands as she holds the book close to her.

“Failure is not an option.” (Y/N) declares to Lucy. The four slowly walk toward Lucy as she backs away from them, holding the book tightly in her arms. Natsu has his palm facing up with a fire emanating from it.

“Come on you guys, let’s just say we burned it. I’ll keep it a secret I swear.” Lucy cries as she backs away from Natsu, (Y/N), Lumi, and Happy.

“I’m not a liar.” Natsu says in a serious, ominous tone, (Y/N) and Lumi nod in agreement.

“Aye.” Happy reiterates Natsu's point.

“Well, well, what do we have here?” Everlue's voice can be heard echoing throughout the library, gaining the group's attention. 

The ground cracks behind them, breaking the floor and creating a large hole as Everlue emerges, a foul smile painting his face. 

“So you thieves are looking to pilfer “Daybreak” from me, are you? Boyoyo.” Everlue lands on his feet across the room from the group.

“See, slowpoke, this is all your fault.” Natsu scolds Lucy for not giving him the book to burn, pointing at the unsightly man. 

“Um, sorry about that.” Lucy sheepishly apologises.

“Don’t you think it’d been way easier just to come in through the door?” Happy says in mild distress.

"And destroying his floors at that too." (Y/N), furrowing her brows, mutters offhandedly, mostly to herself, Lumi nodding along.

“I knew all you lowlife wizard types were coming around here to take something of mine. I never would have guessed it was that stupid book.” Everlue proclaims. 

“Stupid?” Natsu says, perplexed at Everlue's words.

‘This book must be important if the client is willing to pay so much to destroy it. So I don’t understand. Why would Everlue say that about it?’ Lucy monologues to herself in confusion.

“This works out great. If it’s so stupid, I guess it’s fine if I keep it.” Lucy turns to the two Dragon Slayers, sounding hopeful.

“It’s mine! You can’t have it. So get your grubby hands off.” Everlue throws his arms up in the air in a tantrum.

“Greedy gut.” Lucy pouts, side-eyeing him in disdain.

“Shut your trap, ugly.” Everlue says as he picks his nose. Lucy's pride is wounded once more at being called ugly.

“Would you hand over that book and let me get this over with?” Natsu raises his hand, fire radiating from his palm, a look of annoyance on his face.

“No way, I’m not giving it to you.” She cries to the fire mage, clutching the book to her chest.

“Lucy, this is our job!” Natsu yells angrily at Lucy.

“Well, at least let me read it first.” Lucy kneels on the floor and begins reading the book, much to the shock of everyone present. 

“Read it now?!” Everyone says in shock.

Everlue leans closer. 

“I’ve had enough. How dare you put your filthy hands on my possessions. Now, come forth, Vanish Brothers.” As Everlue finishes, he raises his hand up, a blinding light fills the room. The bookshelves part to reveal two men standing behind them. One of the men is tall with spiky hair, the other man is shorter with a long braid and writing on his face. The shorter one is carrying a large frying pan on his back. 

"Were they behind the bookcase this whole time?" Muttering to herself, (Y/N) looks in their direction in confusion.

“You called upon us, sir?” The bald one says to Everlue.

“Can you believe that these little punks are from the Fairy Tail Guild? Talk about a bunch of runts.” The spiky haired one comments.

“That sign means they’re from the southern wolves. It’s a mercenary guild.” Happy points to the two men in concern. Natsu stands behind him with a serious look on his face.. 

“So you got bodyguards, do you?” Natsu cracks his knuckles and stares at the two. 

“Oh wow.” Lucy quietly says to herself, as she continues reading the book.

“Boyoyoyo, the southern wolves are always hungry for fresh game. Say your prayers, thieves.” Everlue tells the group as he twirls his grotesque mustache.   

“Hey, try and hold them off for a while. I’m not sure, but I think this book holds some kind of secret.” Lucy stands as she says this to Natsu.

“Right.” Natsu agrees as Lucy runs off, exiting the library with the book. . 

‘A secret? It must have slipped by me somehow. It could be a treasure map or something.’ Everlue thinks to himself. 

“I’m going after the girl. Make sure pink hair doesn’t leave here in one piece.” Everlue orders as he sinks into the floor.

“Yes, sir.” Both mercenaries acknowledged.  

Everlue sinks back into the hole of which he entered from, leaving Natsu and (Y/N) to face off against spiky and baldy. 

“Happy, (Y/N), go on and help Lucy.” Natsu tells the two.

“Are you sure you don’t need me here?” Happy says as he and (Y/N) look at Natsu with concern.

“No, thanks, but I’ll be just fine.” Natsu says as he stares at the mercenaries. Natsu stretches his arm in preparation for the fight that will occur soon.

"Right. 'Cmon Lumi, let's go find Lucy." (Y/N) nods in confirmation to Natsu, she and Lumi then run after Happy as he flies off to find Lucy.

“Whoa, you sure talk big for such a little guy.” Spiky says to Natsu.

“Perhaps we should put him in his place. So you’re a fire wizard?” Baldy asks Natsu.

“Yeah, but how’d you know that?” Natsu questions Baldy as he continues to stretch. 

“We saw the fire around your legs when you were fighting Virgo.” Spiky explains.

“So it’s obvious that you’re an ability-type fire wizard.” Baldy continues.

"An ability-type wizard uses magic that flows through their body. A wizard like Lucy, who uses items they’ve collected, is called a holder-type wizard." The Narrator explains.

“So I guess you know what happens when you play with fire. You get burned!” 

Natsu raises his arms above his head and his entire body bursts into flames. He leaps forward and punches the frying pan. The frying pan seemed unaffected, as does baldy. 

“I’m sorry to break it to you, kid, but fighting fire wizards is something we do well, very well." The large frying pan seems to absorb Natsu's flame. He then swats Natsu away with the frying pan. The spiky haired man jumps up and spins and lands a kick on Natsu. 

The bald man then whacks Natsu with the frying pan again, sending him flying through the door behind him. Natus lands on the tongue of the statue of Everlue. He rises to his feet and looks up to see the two mercenaries standing by the railing looking down upon him. 

“Fairy Tail may be a big-time guild and all, but you pathetic wizards are no match for trained mercenaries like us.” Spiky talks down to Natsu.

“Ha, if that’s your best, then you’re dead wrong.” Natsu Looks up from where he is with conviction.

“Whoa, this kid really thinks he can beat us.” Spiky is taken aback at Natsu’s defiance. 

“Do you happen to know what a wizard’s greatest weakness is?” Baldy asks Natsu.

“You talking about motion sickness?!” Natsu says in a panic.

“Um, I think that might be a more personal problem.” Baldy says with sweat drops at his confession.

“Is he making fun of us?” Spiky takes offence.

“Their weakness is their bodies.” Baldy leaps down and raises his frying pan to strike Natsu. He dodges and leaps away, making the mercenary miss and cut the gold the tongue of the statue off.

“Since wizards have to focus so intensely on honing their mental abilities…” Baldy continues.  

“They neglect to train their bodies, which leaves them physically weak.” Spiky haired man goes to punch Natsu but misses and hits the wall instead as Natsu jumps away to dodge. 

 He lands on the floor, as Baldy and Spiky land across from him. The two face Natsu, ready to strike him. 

“On the other hand, we focus on our physical abilities.” Baldy continues.

“So we have more power and speed than you.” Spiky says. 

“Oh, I am so scared. Now, stop your blabbing and let's dance.” Natsu taunts them, gesturing at them to come closer to him.

“Hey, bro’, combo attack?” Spiky asks Baldy. 

“Sounds good.” Baldy agrees. 

Baldy holds out his frying pan parallel to the ground, and Spiky jumps on it to stand upon the frying pan, arms raised out to his sides. 

“Heaven and Earth annihilation!” Both Spiky and Baldy speak together.

“Bring it on!” Natsu taunts them, a determined look on his face.

~ Location Change ~

“Lucy is using her wind-reader glasses. They allow the user to read at mind-boggling speeds.” The Narrator explains as Lucy is sitting with her back to the wall in a sewer beneath the mansion.

“That’s amazing. I knew this book held some sort of secret.” Amazed at what she finds, she reads on.

Lucy gasps as the wall behind her opens up, a hand appears and grabs her, it's Duke Everlue. He holds Lucy’s arms behind her back, trying to pry the book from her. 

“Well, then, please share. Secrets don’t make friends, you know.” Everlue tells Lucy.

“No way. A man like you doesn’t deserve to know what it is. You’re an enemy of literature.” Lucy groans out in disgust.

~ Location Change ~

Baldy and Spiky both scream and the former launches the latter up using the frying pan. 

“Look towards heaven and I strike you from the Earth.” Natsu looks up in astonishment at Spiky as Baldy strikes him with the frying pan, sending Natsu flying upward towards the balcony. He does a spin and a flip to right himself and dashes to the side. He has an angry look on his face.

“Look towards Earth and I strike you down from heaven.” Spiky jumps on Natsu's back and crushes him with his foot. 

“You have witnessed the true power of the Vanish Brothers, the heavenly earth annihilation technique.” Baldy states, standing directly in front of Spiky.

“It’s a force that very few are able to survive.” Spiky continues.

“Guess I’m one of the few. Sorry, guys.” Natsu rises through the dust and debris, staring at the two, an unbothered look on his face. 

“No way.” The Vanish Brothers utter in unison with shocked expressions as Natsu was able to survive their attacks.

“I’m going to blow you away! FIRE DRAGON ROAR!” Natsu hits his fists together and summons a magic circle and does his dragon roar move.

“Ha, fire magic?” Spiky has a cocky smile on his face.

“We’ve got him. Flame cooking! You see, my frying pan absorbs your flames and doubles its strength… Right back at you.” Baldy absorbs Natsu’s magic by using his frying pan. Baldy blasts Natus with the magic he had just absorbed from the fire mage. Natsu looks bored by their monologuing. 

“Now he’s a flame-cooked fairy.” Spiky says, as if it’s a slur. 

“Good-bye, kid.” Baldy says. 

Natsu eats the fire surrounding him, the two mercenaries cling to each other in horror at the sight of him eating the fire. 

“No!” The two mercenaries say in dread.

“Oh yeah, now I've got some fire in my belly. Let me show you something.” 

"FIRE DRAGON WING ATTACK!" Natsu slams his fists together, leaping forward and casts his spell, doing so explodes all the windows of the mansion, the blast can be seen all the way from the town. Natsu overdoes it with the two mercenaries, incapacitating them. Their charred bodies lay on the ground. Natsu looks back at the two unconscious men.

“Uh-oh, did I overdo it again?” Says, looking at the charred remains surrounded by rubble.

"Oh, so naughty!" Bob turns from the other, hands on his face in faux embarrassment.

"I wouldn't be joking if I were you, Makarov." Another guild master says with his back to the group before he turns to reveal himself. He's angrily staring at his food on a stick, which he shakes at Makarov.

"Huh?" The aforementioned Guild Master acknowledges.

"This wizard is named Goldmine. He's the guild master of the Quatro Cerberus guild." The Narrator introduces.

"Your wizards may be spirited, but you've gotta admit they go overboard sometimes. Some of the council members are worried that Fairy Tail's going to end up destroying an entire city one of these days. Can't say that I blame 'em." Goldmine lectures Makarov although agrees with the Council's sentiment about Fairy Tail. 

"Oh, let those blowhards worry. What do I care? They're just jealous my wizards are hot." The Light mage boasts his guild.

"Oh, Makky, you shouldn't talk about your little wizards that way. You're such a scoundrel." Bob teasingly reprimands him, right hand on his cheek and the other waving up and down at Makarov.

"Master Makarov, Master Makarov! I have a letter from Miss Mirajane, sir." A small blue bird with a wizard hat delivers a letter to Makarov. The bird drops the letter in the guild master’s hand and flys away. 

"Oh, thanks a lot." Makarov thanks the little bird.

"No Problem." The little blue bird says before flying away. Makarov summons a teal magic circle over the letter and a projection of Mirajane appears. 

"Hi, Master. I'm glad you made it to the conference safe and sound." The holo-Mira says relieved, looking up at Makarov, her hands clasped in front of her dress.

Makarov stands from his seated position and shows off the projection to the other guild masters. 

"See? This honey's our poster girl, Mirajane. Grab some eye candy, boys." Makarov

The Guild Masters around the table chatter excitedly while some whistle at the sight.

"Ooh-la-la." Bob comments.

"That's Mirajane? I haven't seen her in a while. She sure has matured." (eugh, gross.) Goldmine offhandedly says.

"Oh, Master, you are not gonna believe what happened. It may be the greatest thing in the history of Fairy Tail." Mira announces to the Guild Master with her hands clasped by her face before spreading her arms wide.

"Really?" Intrigued, Makarov replies.

"Erza, Natsu, Gray, and (Y/N) have all teamed up together. An amazing combination, huh? In fact, I think they may have formed the strongest team Fairy Tail's ever seen. Sorry to bother you, but I just had to send a quick note to tell you the exciting news." Mira tells him, oblivious to the disaster the four of them will create in their wake.

"Not those four…" He mutters in complete devastation.

"See you soon, Master." Mira bids farewell to Makarov, unaware of the chaos the four aforementioned mages will cause, being the reason for the Fairy Tail Guild Master's reaction.

"What's wrong, Makky?" The Blue Pegasus Guild Master inquires in curiosity.

"I guess the council has a good reason to be worried, right?" Goldmine reasons.

Makarov falls back in shock. 'I can't believe this is happening. Those four really could destroy an entire city. The conference ends today, so I can be back at Fairy Tail by tomorrow afternoon. I just hope nothing crazy happens between now and then. Oh, please, let nothing happen.' He thinks to himself in devastation.

~ Location Change ~

"Some guy with a scythe and a bunch of his lackeys took over the train." Civilian #1 says.

"I think I know who they are. They're the dark guild punks who've been hanging around town the past few weeks." Civilian #2 states

Erza parks the magic-mobile at the edge of a cliff. At the bottom of the cliff is Kunugi Station, where a crowd has amassed. There are many guards that are shoulder to shoulder blocking the entrance to the station. Lucy, Happy, and Lumi are peering out the window of the magic-mobile down below at the commotion, while Erza observes from the driver's seat. 

"I can understand cars and boats, but why'd they want to hijack a train?" Lucy inquires to the others.

"It doesn't really seem like it'd be a very good choice for getaways, since it can only follow the tracks it's on." Happy replies to the blonde.

"Yes, that's true, but they are quite fast." Erza tells the blue cat.

Natsu and (Y/N) are on the floor of the cabin, the former resting his head on his arms as they rest on the seat of the car, while the latter's leaning against Natsu with her back to the vehicle seat, her head tilted down. Both mages are still feeling quite queasy, not only the ride, but also Erza's erratic driving. To the fire mages right is Gray, who's in his underwear once again. 

"Then I guess it's up to us to figure out where those Eisenwald guys are going in such a big hurry and why." Gray casually expresses to the others.

"YOU'RE NAKED, GRAY!" The Celestial mage exclaims at him in shock.

"Am I?" The Ice-Make mage asks, oblivious to his lack of clothes.

"The military's already been called to action, so it should only be a matter of time before someone catches them." Lucy redirects her attention from the ice mage to the situation at hand.

“I hope that's the case, Lucy.” The Requip mage drives the magic-mobile away, following the cliff in the direction the train was supposed to go.

~ Location Change ~

Erigor slashes his scythe at the man in the white jacket, tearing through the seat behind him. This act shocks the other dark guild members. The man in the white jacket is on his knees before Erigor. 

"Let me get this straight. You allowed a Fairy Tail fly to see the Lullaby flute and then let him get away? Is that true?!" Erigor demands from the man cowering on the floor.

"But it's not like he knows anything about our plans, sir. And even if he did, there's no way he and his stupid guild would be able to stop us, right?" The man in the white jacket explains to the man wielding a scythe, on his knees as he pleads with him.

Erigor slams the blade of his scythe into the car floor, causing the man in the white jacket to crawl back a few metres.

"We can't afford to take any chances. Fortunately, we have a strategy in place." The white haired man states as he removes his balde from the floor.

"Right. You mean the thing at Oshibana Station." The man in the white jacket reveals.

"We can't have flies buzzing around where they're not wanted." Erigor commands as he rests his scythe on across his right shoulder as he talks to the dark guild members. He's holding the cursed flute in his hand. The man in the white jacket get's up from the floor. "It will be up to you men to swat them away." 

"Yes, sir!" The dark mages agree in unison.

~ Location Change ~

Erza's driving recklessly in Oshibana city down the narrow streets. She hand brakes and turns to go down a different street as pedestrians panic and flee from the chaotic driver. Gray's still insistent on hanging on to the roof of the magic-mobile.

"Stop, Erza! You're going way too fast! You're gonna overload the S.E. plug." Gray chastises the red haired woman for her driving and overexertion of her magic.

"There's no telling how many innocent people could die if Lullaby's song is played. I can't slow down. We have to top Eisenwald before it's too late." The Requip mage states in a commanding tone.

"But at this rate, you're gonna use up all your magic before we even start fighting." Gray says, concern for his friend lacing his words as he holds on for dear life to the roof of the vehicle.

"Well then, I'll just have to rely on hand-to-hand combat." She smirks as she says this. Besides, I've got you, Natsu, and (Y/N) as backup." 

In the cab of the magic-mobile sits Lucy, Happy, Natsu, (Y/N), and Lumi.

"I feel like there was something important I was supposed to tell you, Lucy."  Happy says offhandedly as he, Lumi, and Lucy are sitting on the seats while Natsu and (Y/N) are sprawled on the floor, feeling the effects of their motion sickness. 

"Oh really? What was it?" Lucy inquires to the blue cat.

"I don't remember. It was just something about something I was supposed to tell you." He closes his eyes and puts a paw to his face in thought. "Um, you're–" Happy's cut off by Natsu.

"Totally sick for real." The Fire Dragon Slayer groans out.

"That's it!" Happy suddenly shouts in excitement.

"Are you kidding me?!" Lucy shouts at the blue cat as the fire mage drags himself to the window of the vehicle and lets his torso fall out of it, letting himself go limp.

"Careful, Natsu! You're gonna fall out!" The Celestial mage shouts at him in concern.

"That's what I'm aiming for…" He retorts back at the blonde.

"Um, so if it wasn't "Lucy's totally sick," then what the heck was it? Something weird like that. Lucy's… weird? Hungry? Fishy? I like fish. Wait. weird, weird, weird…" As Happy prattles on, Lucy's grabbing Natsu and trying to pull him back inside the car.

"Why are you saying I'm weird?" She comments in a stern tone.

"What's that up ahead?" Erza takes notice of the crowd of people gathered around the station.

The group arrives at Oshibans Station, where another crowd has amassed around the entrance, not being permitted inside. There's a column of smoke rising from the building. 

"Please stand back. The station is currently closed due to a train derailment." A station worker announces to the crowd

"A derailment? Are you serious?" Random person #1 asks in a demanding tone.

"Well, I heard the station's been taken over by a group of thugs." Random person #2 states.

"We ask that you please stand back." The station worker commands the crowd.

“Excuse me, what's going on?” Erza puts her hand on the shoulder of the train station worker's shoulder. 

"Why would I tell you, lady?" Erza knocks the station worker out and moves to the next one. 

"What's going on?!" Erza punches this one before he says anything. As Lucy's observing this cycle, Natsu has his right arm over her shoulder, hanging on to her for support. 

"Seems like her questioning method's a little counterproductive." Lucy comments, mostly to herself.

"Erza's got her own way of getting things done." Gray states as (Y/N)'s in a similar state as the fire mage on the other ice mages back.

"Where are your clothes?!" Lucy shouts at him.

“The Eisenwald guild's inside. Let's go.” Erza has her hand on her hip in a commanding stance. There are many knocked out station workers around her as the others look at her.

"Right." The Ice-Make mage says in agreement.

"So I gotta drag this one around?" Lucy complains to the Requip mage.

"Sorry." Natsu noncommittally apologizes to her.

~ Short Time Skip ~

The group is now inside the station running down a long hallway with pillars lining the walls on either side. Erza's leading the charge, with Gray running on her right, carrying (Y/N) on his back as she's unable to run at the moment, and Happy and Lumi flying beside him. Lucy's running to Erza’s left, still supporting Natsu as she follows. 

"A small army unit stormed in earlier, but they've yet to return. I'm guessing they've been caught in battle with the Eisenwald forces." Erza states as Lucy makes a scared face at the information the Requip mage provides.

They come to a staircase and see many unconscious soldiers that lead up the stairs onto the next level, the sight causes Lucy to gasp out loud. As they continue, more bodies are found. 

"They've been completely wiped out." Happy exclaims out, worried.

"They were up against an entire guild of wizards. A small contingent like this would never stand a chance against such a powerful group." Erza informs the others.

The group enters an area that has a balcony that goes around the sides of the room. Before them is Erigor and the many other dark guild members. 

"Welcome. Step into our parlor, Fairy Tail flies." Erigor demands to the mages as he sits on top of a train car

"Whoa. There's so many of them." The Celestial mage is unsettled by the sheer number of foes in front of them. Natsu's still passed out, but this time he rests on Lucy's back, while Gray has a bored look on his face, with (Y/N) still on his own back, Erza has her right hand on her hip with a serious expression on her face.

"You fiend. I take it you're Erigor?" Erza commands to the dark mage as he just chuckles at the tone.

“Come on, Natsu, we need your help.” Lucy shakes Natsu on the floor, trying to wake him. 

"Good luck. Between the train, magic-mobile, and your shaking, it's a motion sickness triple combo." Happy tells the blonde in a semi-serious, semi-joking way.

"I'm not a vehicle!" Lucy retaliates while pointing to herself in exasperation.

"Hey, you. It's your fault I got in trouble with Erigor. Get up." The man in the white jacket seethes out to Natsu in anger.

"Huh? I know that voice." Natus mutters to himself as he opens his eyes, suddenly feeling better. Coincidentally, (Y/N) gets over her motion sickness soon after Natsu.

"We're not threatened by any of you. Tell me what you're planning to do with Lullaby." Erza demands to the wind mage.

"Oh, you haven't heard yet?" Erigor chuckles as he flies and hovers to the centre of the room. "What do all train stations have?"

"He flew!" Lucy exclaims in surprise.

"It's wind magic." The blue cat offhandedly explains to her.

Erigor lands on a speaker, crouching down on it, while resting his scythe on his right shoulder.

"You plan to broadcast the Lullaby's song?" Erza questions in a panicked tone causing Erigor to laugh.

"Thousands of nosy onlookers have flocked to this station to get a glimpse of the action. Who knows, if I raise the volume enough, I may be able to extinguish the entire city with my melody of death." Erigor monologues to the Fairy Tail mages.

"What reason do you have to commit such a heinous crime against the innocent people of this town?!" Erza shoults in an exasperated tone at the wind mage.

"This is a cleansing of all the fools out there who fail to appreciate the rights they hold so dear. Who remain willfully ignorant to the plight of those who've had their rights stripped away. They've committed the sin of turning a blind eye to the world's injustice. Therefore, the reaper has come to punish them." Erigor continues his monologue.

"But killing them isn't gonna help you get your rights back. It's only gonna make it worse. That's the whole reason you were kicked out of the Wizard League in the first place." Lucy frustratedly tells him, placing her fists on her hips to emphasise her words.

"At this point we've given up trying to regain our rights. We want power. Then we will be able to wash away the sins of our past and take control of what happens in the future." 

"You guys are completely insane!" The Celestial mage shouts at him in anger.

“We’re rolling in a new age of darkness. Course, by the time it gets here, you flies will be long gone.” The man in the white jacket kneels on one knee and puts his palm on the floor and summons three shadows that move rapidly toward the group. They nearly strike Lucy but Natsu leaps up and bats them away with his fire magic.

"You again?" The man in the white jacket acknowledges the fire mage.

“Eisenwald dude. I knew I recognized that voice.” Natsu flexes his arm as he stares at the dark guild members in front of him.

"You're back to normal!" Lucy raises her fists in excitement at the fire mages words.

"Oh, wow. Looks like we've got ourselves a party here, huh?" Natsu states, thrilled at the prospect of fighting.

"No, Natsu, these are the guys we have to fight!" Lucy tells him, as if not understanding what he means.

"Like he said, it's a party." As (Y/N) says this, getting ready to fight as well, Natsu punches his fist into his palm and has a very intimidating look on his face. 

~ Very Short Time Skip ~

'The Fairy Tail flies flew right into my trap. Everything is going exactly as planned. But I will not rest until they have heard Lullaby's Melody of Death. Then we'll finally have revenge against those who wronged us.' Erigor internally monologues

"This is the strongest team Fairy Tail has to offer. You'd better be ready!" Lucy points to Erigor, a serious look on her face as she says this.

"I leave them to you. Show them the terror of the dark guild Eisenwald." Erigor floats up, before vanishing, seemingly into thin air.

"HE DISAPPEARED!" Lucy and Happy are shocked by this. 

"Natsu and Gray, go. I need you to stop him." Erza orders to the fire and ice mages.

"Hmm?" The two look at each other in contempt at the command the Requip mage gives.

"If the two of you work together, not even Erigor the Reaper can defeat you. I'm leaving him in your hands." She explains to the two causing the ice and fire mage clash heads as they growl at each other as they do so. "What did I say?!" She shouts at the two.

"AYE!" Scared of the repercussions of failing to comply, Natsu and Gray go off after Erigor, leaving the others with the large group of dark wizards. 

"They ran off?!" Dark mage #1 shouts.

"They're going after Erigor." Dark mage #2 says.

"I got it." One dark wizard uses ribbon magic (??) uses it to pull himself up onto the balcony. "I, the great Rayule, will take them down."

“I'm coming with you. That pink haired dimwit is gonna pay.” The man in the white jacket kneels on one knee and puts his palm on the ground, summoning a large yellow magic circle around him. A shadow engulfs him as he sinks into the ground.

"We'll catch up with them once we've finished off the rest of the men here, okay?" Erza says in a confident tone.

"Three girls against an entire magical guild?" Lucy, worried for herself, Erza, and (Y/N), puts a fist up to her face in concern.

"Mama always told me not to hit girls, but I can make an exception." Dark mage #3 threatens.

"I'm sorry ladies. You're not gonna be as cute when we're done with ya." Dark mage #4 chuckles to himself.

The group of dark wizards taunts the remaining Fairy Tail wizards. 

"But without my stunning beauty I'll be totally helpless." Lucy puts her left hand to her face and right arm under her chest in a seductive manner.

"This is no time for daydreaming, Lucy." Happy floats up to the blonde as he says this in a worried tone.

"Lucy, can you please focus?" (Y/N) sweatdrops, furrowing her brows at Lucy's behaviour, raising her fists as magic emanates off of them, as she gets into a fighting stance, ready to fend off the dark mages.

“Let’s do this.” Erza stretches her hand out and opens her fist and summons a red magic circle. A sword spins out of said circle into the air and into her grasp. 

"It came out of thin air! A magic sword!" Lucy gasps in astonishment at the sight.

"If you insult the Fairy Tail guild again in my presence, I swear none of you will live to see tomorrow." The Requip mage grasps the summoned sword, holding the hilt out in front of her pointing the blade diagonally down across herself. 

"We're not scared of you! We got tons of magic swordsmen in Eisenwald!" The dark wizards charge with their weapons. 

Erza shouts as she charges at the dark wizards, swinging her sword about, injuring many of the dark wizards and breaking their weapons.

"I'LL SHOW YOU! AHH!" A man shouts as three mages, including himself, shoots a beam of magic towards the Requip mage, hitting the ground in front of her as she jumps up towards the dark mages. As she's in the air, she presents the sword in front of her and summons two red magic circles on either side of the sword. The weapon vanishes and turns into a long spear.

"Now it's a spear!" Lucy is shocked at this revelation. 

Erza continues to decimate the dark wizards as Lucy and (Y/N) watch.

"It turned into twin swords." The green haired, frog-looking man says in dismay.

"I've never seen anybody be able to Requip as fast as this chick." Hair gel McGee exclaims.

"What's 'Requip'?" Lucy struggles to put two and two together. 

"Magic weaponry isn't that much different from your celestial magic, Lucy." Happy readily explains to Lucy.

"The user can summon different weapons they keep stored in another dimension. And when the user switches between weapons, it's called 'Requipping.'" (Y/N) continues Happy's explanation to the blonde.

"Wow, that's incredible!" Lucy's impressed by Erza's abilities.

"You ain't seen nothing yet. Erza's just getting warmed up." Happy states ominously.

"Erza?" The frog-looking mage asks nervously.

"It's time for me to kick butt too." Lucy decides to join in the fight after all the dark wizards are heavily injured. 

"Why do you have to go and try to steal the spotlight from her?" Happy says in dismay. 

"OPEN, GATE OF THE GIANT CRAB! CANCER!" Lucy swings her right hand carrying the key across horizontally then up over her head. She then brings her arm vertically down, completing the summon. Cancer arrives while humming a tune as his name can be heard as well.

"You need me to fight these dudes, baby?" Cancer inquires.

"Yeah, take them out with style." Lucy says as she rests her elbow on her wrist with her chin resting on her palm. 

"I ain't never seen such a stupid haircut." Dark mage #1 says.

"You look like an idiot!" Dark mage #2 exclaims. 

"Whoa, baby." Cancer seems offended at the comment as he suddenly attacks.

"My weapon!"

"What happened to my hair?!"

"We're all–"

"Bald?" Lucy's confused that the celestial spirit that's known for cutting people’s hair made the dark wizards bald. 

"So cruel!" All say in dismay.

"Like your new style, baby?" Cancer rhetorically asks.

"That was impressive." Erza turns to Lucy and Cancer, holding a giant axe. 

"Oh, thanks! But it was no big deal. All right! I totally scored points with her!" Lucy turns her torso to face Erza with her hand on the back of her head.

"That's what you were going for?!" Happy's not amused at the sentiment.

"However, this crab spirit of yours, the way he calls you baby, I find it rather insulting." Erza says with disdain.

"I know right? Totally demeaning." (Y/N) teasingly chimes in, a mischievous smile on her face, as she brings a hand to her mouth as if to cover her mouth.

"Points un-scored." Lucy says in defeat as she puts her hands to her face.

"Whoa. B– Ma'am." Cancer corrects himself as he stands next to the blonde.

~ Short Time Skip ~

"Still so many. I thought we took care of most of them. Annoying, but I'll wipe them out." Erza is facing many dark wizards. A red magic circle appears below her and a bright light emanates from it. Her armour glows and disappears. She is t-posing as a bright light engulfs her in what appears to be space with a galaxy in the background. She spins around, still in a t-pose position. She raises her arms above her head and then brings them back to a t-pose

"Whoa! Her armor's disappearing!" Many of the dark mages cheer and applaud the scene before them.

"Most magic swordsmen only have the ability to swap weapons. But Erza's able to swap her armor for wizarding armor that enhances her abilities. It's a talent that only she possesses." Happy provides exposition to Lucy. 

"That's what makes her magic so special. A technique called…'The Knight'!" (Y/N) finishes his explanation for him.

"Oh, wow!" Lucy's in awe at the scene before her.

"WHOA!"

"Now, DANCE, MY SWORDS!" Erza commands as she rises in the air, holding two swords out at her sides. Many swords encircle the Requip mage, pointing away from her. The swords start spinning in the vertical circle around Erza.

"I knew it! It has to be her!" The frog-looking man says, scared at the sight before him.

"CIRCLE SWORD!" Erza shouts as she raises her swords up above her head and then brings them down, causing the blades to attack the dark wizards. 

"Whoa. she took most of them down with a single swipe." Lucy says in horrified astonishment.

"Aye!" Happy says his catchphrase. 

"All right! You're dealing with me now!" Hair gel McGee declares as he charges at Erza with his fist glowing. 

"Don't do it, Byard! Do you have any idea who that woman is?!" Karacka, also known as the frog-looking man, shouts at him.

Erza swipes her sword across Byard and he falls to the ground on his face. 

"She's Queen of the Fairies, Titania Erza!" Karacka informs out loud.

Erza requips back into her normal attire.

"Hell yeah, Erza! Way to go with those guys!" (Y/N) cheers on the Requip mage as she disengages her magic, one of her arms raising above her head, with Lumi silently cheering her on as well from the ice mage's shoulder.

"Oh, man! I think I'm in love!" Lucy clasps her hands together as she stares in awe at Erza. 

"Forget this! I'm out of here!" Karacka Looney-Tune-runs out of the room.

"I would imagine he's going to look for Erigor. You should follow him." Erza turns from where Karacka exits to address Lucy.

"Who me?" Lucy lowers her arms in uncertainty.

"C'mon Lucy, don't sell yourself short." (Y/N) makes an attempt to encourage the blonde, Lumi nodding her head in agreement, before Erza cuts in, causing (Y/N), Lucy, and Lumi to jolt.

"Just do it!" Erza glares at the Celestial mage as she makes the demand.

"WHATEVER YOU SAY! I don't want to make you angry!" Lucy, also Looney-Tune-runs out of the room, leaving Erza and (Y/N) surrounded by unconscious dark wizards. 

Erza sighs out as soon as Lucy's out of earshot, before stumbling a bit catching (Y/N)'s attention as the ice mage steadies the Requip mage, Lumi leaving her shoulder to float beside the two mages.

"Whoa, careful Erza." The Ice Dragon Slayer warns the Requip mage in concern.

"Gray was right. I overdid it on the Magic-Mobile." Erza says to (Y/N), before muttering to herself. "Please, boys. Please don't fail me." She kneels on the ground in exhaustion. 

~ With Natsu and Gray ~ 

Natsu and Gray run down a hall, bickering with each other. 

"I can't believe she's making us work together. What was she thinking?" Gray complains to himself.

"Obviously she wasn't thinking. Everybody knows fire and ice don't mix. Well, besides me and (Y/N)." Natsu butts in, also upset at the situation at hand.

"Yeah, and why does she always have to be so fucking bossy?" The ice mage glares at Natsu.

"She should ask us to do stuff instead of ordering us around!" The fire mage grumbles out as he glares back.

"I don't need your help! I can handle Erigor all by myself!" They butt heads with each other. "Are you copying me?! Huh?" The two wizards have come to the end of the hallway, which now leads in two directions; one way branches off to the right, the other branches off to left. 

"Which way do we go?" Natsu asks.

"I guess we'll have to split up." Gray turns his back to Natsu, as the fire mage faces away from the ice mage as well. "Natsu, we're up against an evil freak who's getting ready to unleash a deadly spell. If you find him, give him a thrashing."

"You don't have to worry about that. I've got a bone to pick with that jerk for messing with Fairy Tail. I'm gonna burn him up to a crisp." Natsu turns to the ice mage and raises his fist with a smile. Gray also has his fist raised with a smile. They both quickly turn away from each other and cross their arms and frown. 

"Don't die on me." Gray whispers to himself with his back turned to the fire mage.

"Huh?" Natsu looks back at the ice mage in surprise.

"Nothing. Later, loser." Gray promptly leaves, running down his chosen hallway, leaving Natsu behind. 

~ With Gray ~

"So that's it. Erigor's gonna play the Lullaby through the speaker system." Gray stops and looks at a loudspeaker in realization.

Gray kicks open a door to the broadcasting room.

"There's nobody here." Gray walks into the room, looking around. "Maybe I was wrong about him broadcasting it over the station's P.A."

Rayule's hanging from the ceiling behind Gray. He summons ribbons and hurls them at the ice mage, before Gray dodges the attack.

"That was a pretty good guess, pal. But our plan isn't as obvious as you might think."

"So tell me what the plan is, and you won't get hurt." Gray demands from the man.

~ With Erza, (Y/N), and Lumi ~

Erza and (Y/N), with Lumi standing beside her on the railing, stand on the balcony of the train station overlooking the city.  

"Someone's on the balcony!" Someone in the crowd shouts out.

"What's going on?!"

"IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIVES, THEN YOU WILL LEAVE THIS PLACE AT ONCE! THIS STATION'S BEEN TAKEN OVER BY EVIL WIZARDS! THEY ARE THREATENING TO BROADCAST A DEADLY SPELL OVER THE LOUDSPEAKERS THAT WOULD KILL EVERYONE HERE!" The crowd murmurs with each other in panic at her announcement. "I BEG YOU, RUN AS FAR AS YOU CAN!" Erza speaks into a megaphone. 

"Hey, Ladies! Why would you make everyone panic like that?!" The station worker demands from the mages.

"I would rather that than watch all of these people die. In fact you gentlemen need to evacuate as well." Erza turns to the station workers who have approached the two.

"Now that I've cleared everyone from the train station, I wonder what Erigor's next move will be." Erza states as she, (Y/N), and Lumi stare out at where the crowd of people ran. As Erza says this, it starts becoming increasingly windy out of nowhere behind them, causing the three to look back to the station. 

"Erza, it's some kind of wind barrier!" (Y/N) shouts out in shock.

~ With Gray ~

"There's no escape…" Rayule declares as he whips his ribbons in Gray’s direction. "FROM MY URUMI!"

"ICE-MAKE SHIELD!" Gray puts his fist vertically on his palm and raises his arms perpendicular to the floor, summoning a blue magic circle in doing so. The ice mage raises his arms up and diagonally as he creates an ice shield. 

"This punk uses ice magic?!"

"ICE-MAKE KNUCKLES" Gray once again has his fist on the palm of his hand, this time his hands are to his side. A small blue light emanates from his hands as he summons giant ice fists at Rayule.

"AHH!"

"This is your last chance to tell me what you're planning. You're not gonna broadcast the Lullaby's song over the P.A. system?" Gray stands before Rayule, looking down at him through a hole in the wall he just made. 

"Erigor's magic sealing barrier should be activated by now." Rayule struggles to his feet as he says this.

"Erigor's what?" Gray asks in confusion.

"He's created a wind barrier that will keep you insects from escaping."

~ With Erza, (Y/N), and Lumi ~

"I've always wanted the opportunity to fight the Queen of the Fairies. But unfortunately, I don't have time to play with you right now." Erigor makes a purple magic circle that pushes Erza, (Y/N), and Lumi back and through the barrier.

"ERIGOR!" The Requip mage makes an attempt to break through before being blasted back with magic from the barrier.

"ERZA!" (Y/N) screams out and makes an attempt to catch the red haired mage.

"It's useless. There's no way you'll ever be able to break through my magic sealing barrier. You see, it's one way only. If you try to escape, the wind will tear you apart." Erigor monologues to the two mages.

"What is the meaning of this, you scoundrel?!" Erza holds her side as she shouts at the dark wizard in anger.

"We've wasted enough of our time on you Fairy Tail flies. Now if you'll excuse me…" Erigor flies away from the station.

"COME BACK HERE! CURSE YOU ERIGOR! I WILL FIND A WAY TO STOP YOU!" She shouts to the dark mage. "So he wasn't targeting the station after all. Just what is he planning?" (Y/N) and Lumi look to her in concern and for direction for what they should do now.

~ With Gray ~

"Why don't I get straight to the point here, buddy? Tell me what the plan is, or else." Gray grabs Rayule’s collar in anger.

"We knew you pests would cause problems, so we lured you here and trapped you. The only reason we took over this station is to block traffic to the final stop. We didn't want any trains getting into Clover Station." Rayule explains to the ice mage.

"Yeah, why?"

"'Cause that's where it's going down. Clover's just beyond a giant canyon, and this train line is the only way in and out of town, unless you're able to fly like Erigor." Rayule continues.

"So the Lullaby's in Clover?" Gray deducts.

"You know what else is there right now? Think hard and you'll get it." Rayule summons ribbons from his hands and strikes Gray with them. The ice mage quickly jumps back and blocks the attack. "GOTCHA" 

'Clover, that's where the conference is being held. So this was their plan all along. They're targeting the Guild Masters.' Gray thinks to himself.

Rayule laughs out loud. "You finally figured it out, huh? Well, it's too late to stop us now!"

"You Eisenwald thugs must be pretty brave taking on such a powerful group of wizards."

"Those ignorant old fogies won't even know what hit 'em once Lullaby's song starts playing. There's no way Erigor's plan will fail." Rayule wraps Gray in his ribbons. "You and your little Fairy friends are stuck in this station, so there's nothing you can do about it. Soon we'll have our revenge on everyone who tried to keep us down. When we're done, they'll be completely wiped out."

"That's not gonna happen. Now get this straight. When you mess with the Guild Masters, then you mess with all of us. They may be old fogies, but they're the closest thing we have to parents." Gray freezes the ribbons and shatters them, breaking free. He then freezes Rayule’s legs to the ground and walks toward him and puts his hand on his face.

~ With Natsu ~

"JUST COME OUT AND FIGHT ALREADY!" Natsu runs through the halls in search of Erigor, unbeknownst to him that the wind mage isn't at the station anymore.

A shadow is following close behind the Fire Dragon Slayer.

"Looks like it's about time for me to strike." Kageyama’s head peaks out of the ground looking up at Natsu.

~ With Erza, (Y/N), and Lumi ~

"We will stop you." Erza declares, as she looks in the direction Erigor once was.

~ With Lucy and Happy ~

Lucy's running down a hallway with Happy flying behind her in search for Karacka.

"Now where did that fat one run off to?" The Celestial mage questions annoyedly to herself.

"You better find him or else Erza's gonna strangle you." Happy teases her causing Lucy to yelp out in fear.

~ With Gray ~

"When I get my hands on them, I'll show them Fairy Tail can be so much more terrifying than any dark guild." Gray walks out of the room through the hole that has been made, leaving Rayule completely frozen in ice.

“Welcome to Fairy Tail!” Says Happy excitedly. 

Lucy giggles with joy, Natsu then kicks the door open with a seemingly furious look on his face. (Y/N), Lumi, and Happy are behind him with a look of amusement on their faces. 

“WE MADE IT BACK ALIVE!” Shouts Natsu as he kicks in the door.

“WE’RE HOME!” Happy yells excitedly with him.

Many members of Fairy Tail are seen in the guild hall sitting at various tables and visiting with one another. A few turn and smile, greeting Natsu and (Y/N) at their arrival. Lucy enters, smiling widely at the site of the guild hall. 

“So I heard you went all out in Hargeon, Natsu. Had to go starting trou–” The guild member starts saying to Natsu, before he’s cut off with a kick to the face from the latter.

“AAH!” Shouts Natsu as he delivers a kick to the member seemingly out of nowhere.

“Why did you do that?!” Lucy puts her hands up in distress with a frightened look on her face. (Y/N), standing next to Lucy while Lumi hovers next to the Ice Dragon Slayer, is not as surprised that Natsu does this.

“You lied about that Salamander! I’m gonna kick your butt!” Natsu says to the member, raising his fist at him angrily.

“Don’t get mad at me. I’m not the one to blame here.” The kicked member responds “I’m just passing along a rumor I heard!” He shouts back.

“IT WAS JUST A RUMOR?!” Natsu asks angrily.

“YOU WANT TO FIGHT?!” The member asks Natsu equally as angry.

“LET’S GO!” Natsu shouts at him as tables and guild members start flying through the air.

“Now now, Natsu, I think you need to calm down–!” Happy says, shaking his paw up and down with a smug look on his face as an attempt to de-escalate the situation, before he’s thrown into the fray. The whole guild can be seen  in a fight now, people getting thrown every which way, some landing on eachother.

‘Oh, wow! I’m actually standing inside the Fairy Tail Guild Hall.’ Lucy is in awe of where she is. (Y/N) and Lumi smile fondly at Lucy’s excitement.

“So Natsu and (Y/N) finally made it back, huh?” A boy turns around in Natsu’s direction, shirtless and pantless, just in his underwear, he has an angry expression on his face as he grits his teeth. He has spiky black-colored hair and dark blue eyes, he's wearing a necklace, which resembles a sword with a stone in it, and very long, knee length underwear.

“This is Gray Fulbuster. A very talented wizard, but he tends to– well, he has a bad habit of taking off his clothes.” The Narrator introduces Gray.

Gray walks slowly toward the fight. A woman can be seen drinking wine from a champagne glass, observing the chaos that's been unfolding. She seems mostly unbothered by the current state of the guild, just slightly irritated. She has mid-back length medium brown hair, and large dark brown eyes. She's wearing a light blue bikini top, a pair of capri pants, with two bands hanging from each leg and a light belt covered in heart motifs loosely tied around the waist. Her shoes consist of a pair of high-heeled sandals. She also had a pair of metal bracelets adorning her biceps and three silver bracelets on both wrists.

“It’s time we settled things once and for all.” Gray states, angrily marching towards the fight.

“Gray, your clothes?” The woman reminds said boy of his missing clothing situation. He half-heartedly directs his anger towards the woman.

“I don’t have time for that!” The ice mage shouts at her.

“This lovely lady is Cana Alberona. She holds the title of Fairy Tail’s Heaviest drinker.”  The Narrator continues his introduction.

“You see? I don’t date the men here because they have no class.” Cana can be seen drinking directly from a barrel, much to the shock of Lucy. 

“Come here and fight me, Natsu!” Gray shouts kicking someone behind Natsu. As he’s still fighting the man who told him the rumor, grabbing his arm and his face. 

“Not until you put some clothes on!” Natsu shouts back.

“It’s only noon and you boys are already whining like spoiled babies.” A large, muscular man approaches Lucy and (Y/N), crossing his arms. He has white hair styled upwards in long, spikes, his dark eyes possess no visible eyebrows and his rectangular, elongated face has a stitched scar running down its right side, crossing his right eye. He's wearing a dark blue jacket, held closed on the front by a line of large buttons, with similar buttons on the sleeves’ back and the zip located on the high collar left open. The back of his jacket is adorned by large, light kanjis, which read “No. 1". He has loose pants that match his jacket, held up by a simple belt, and traditional Japanese geta sandals.

“This brute of a man is Elfman, a muscle-bound wizard who believes that all you need to solve any problem are two strong fists.” The Narrator continues.

“I'm a real man. You want me to prove it to ya!” Elfman shouts to Natsu and Gray, stomping towards the two.

“I can’t believe he’s encouraging them.” Lucy sweat drops, muttering to herself.

“Don’t worry Lucy, he’s normally like that.” (Y/N) reassures her, looking in the blondes direction, an easy going smile on her face at the chaos going on.

Natsu and Gray both simultaneously punch Elfman, sending him flying in the air. 

‘They knocked him out that easily?!’ Lucy thinks to herself, shocked at the display. Giggling can be heard behind Lucy and (Y/N) as they turn towards it.

“Jeez, it’s so noisy around here, huh?” Another man sits behind the two on a bench against the wall with two women sitting in his lap, his arms resting on their waists. His hair is kept in a mildly short, spiky cut, with spiky strands covering his forehead, and other, longer ones jutting upwards from the top of his head. His left ear is adorned by three earrings: a stud and two rings, a green coat with a wide collar, complete with prominent, spiky, brownish-white fur trimming lining the hood, over a light red shirt covered in many flower-like motifs, black pants and whitish sneakers, each adorned by a pair of light green stripes.

“This is the lady-killer, Loke. Ranked high on the Most Eligible Wizard Bachelor’s list.” As the narrator finishes introducing Loke, he’s hit in the forehead with a glass cup. 

“Are you all right?” The one of the girls he was flirting with asks him, concerned. 

“I’m gonna go fight, only to protect you two.” He woos the girls as he joins the fight. 

“Good luck, Loke.” Both say simultaneously.

“He’s definitely off my list…” Lucy crosses a picture of him out. “What the heck is wrong with these people? There’s not one sane person in the whole place.” As she says this, there are many guild members fighting. “No offence (Y/N).” 

“None taken, don’t worry.” (Y/N) chuckles at Lucy’s bewilderment as Lumi has a small smile on her face. 

“Hello! Are you new here? And (Y/N)! I see you and Natsu are back, how’d looking for Salamander go?” A voice asks behind the two. As she and (Y/N) turn, Lucy recognizes who it is.

“It’s Mirajane in the flesh!” Lucy gushes, she has her hands on her cheeks and hearts in her eyes. Mira closes her eyes and smiles at her as she holds a tray with drinks on it as Lucy fangirls about her.

Mira has long, white hair which curls slightly at the ends, with two bangs framing her face and reaching down to her chest; her hairstyle's most distinctive trait is a short, upward ponytail obtained by gathering and tying the hair covering her forehead and she has large blue eyes. She's wearing a sleeveless, ankle-length maroon dress with a pleated skirt. The chest is adorned by a large, pink bow, and similarly colored trimmings frame the neckline, acting as straps, and circle around the waist. Mirajane also wears high-heeled shoes that match her dress, and accessorizes with a small chain necklace with a blue oval gem attached to it, and a bracelet made of white flowers circling her right wrist.

“Hey Mira!” (Y/N) greets her favourite barmaid, as she smiles at her. "It was okay, it definitely wasn’t who we were looking for though.” (Y/N) responds a bit dejected, shrugging at Mira.

“This is Mirajane. A beautiful wizard who’s known for her bikini-clad photo spreads in Sorcerer Weekly magazine. She is currently an employee at fairy tail.” The Narrator explains.

“Um, don’t you think we should try to stop them or something?” Lucy asks, one hand to her mouth the other pointing at the fight with a concerned look.

“It’s always like this around here. I just leave them alone. Besides–” Mira gets cut off as Elfman gets flung into her to the shock of Lucy and (Y/N). “It’s kinda fun don’t you think?” She finishes as she passes out under an unconscious Elfman.

“AHH! DON’T DIE, MIRAJANE” Lucy screams as she flails her arms in bewilderment. She’s hit by Gray's body, as he’s thrown by Natsu. As she’s hit by his body, (Y/N), startled by what’s happening, moves to the side to avoid getting knocked over as well. Lucy’s shocked to see Natsu take Gray's underwear, leaving him entirely naked.

“GIVE ME BACK MY UNDERWEAR, JERK!” Gray shouts at Natsu. Lucy screams at Gray's nakedness, blushing as she covers her face with her hands, peeking through her fingers, (Y/N) and Lumi copy the blonde's actions (excluding the screaming) as he turns to Lucy and (Y/N), addressing the former. “Excuse me, miss, could I please borrow your underwear?” Gray asks as if it’s completely normal to ask for a girl's underwear. 

“AS IF?!” Lucy hits him with a table leg, (Y/N) looks at her with surprise, her eyes wide and a small open mouthed smile on her face. Loke then suddenly picks Lucy up in a bridal carry, as she looks deeply disturbed, while (Y/N) and Lumi have disapproving expressions on their faces at Loke's actions. (Y/N) has her hands on her hips, the grey cat copying her actions.

“These guys are all so insensitive. A woman has needs–” Loke suddenly gets cut off as he’s uppercutted by Elfman, sending him flying. (Y/N), startled once again, takes a step back to avoid the commotion while Lumi covers her ears at the loud sounds happening all at once, an upset look on her face.

“REAL MEN SPEAK WITH THEIR FISTS, LOKE!” Elfman shouts, Natsu then kicks him away. 

“I told you to butt out!” Natsu yells at him as he kicks Elfman. 

“Aye…” Happy weakly mutters out.

Cana, still sitting at the bar with her back turned to the chaos that's been unfolding, looks irritated as she attempts to drink in peace. “It’s so loud. So much for having a drink to relax. That’s enough, you guys. I suggest that you knock it off.” She pulls out a tarot card and activates a teal magic circle.

“Oh yeah? Says who?” Gray taunts, his fist in his palm, summoning a light blue magic circle as well. Elfman shouts as he also makes a purple magic circle, transforming his right arm into a rock arm. 

"You punks can be such a nuisance." Loke states, using a magic ring that summons a green magic circle. 

"I'm ready for ya!" Natsu’s fists are on fire, as he prepares for further fighting. 

"They always fight like this?" Lucy asks while holding Happy in front of her head like a shield. (Y/N) now back to standing next to Lucy, as the Dragon Slayer pets Lumi's head to calm the grey cat, looks at the Celestial Wizard in amusement.

"Uh-huh." Happy confirms while smiling. 

"You don't seem worried!" Lucy says while sweating profusely.

"WOULD YOU FOOLS STOP BICKERING LIKE CHILDREN?!" The Guild Master suddenly appears, towering over the guild hall and all its members.

"He's huge!" Lucy says bewildered, (Y/N) can be seen snickering to her right. Lucy’s eyes and mouth are open in shock and horror at the size of the Guild Master before everyone.

"I'm sorry. I didn't know you were still here, Master." Mira states.

"Did you say Master?!" Lucy says startled as she turns towards him. 

"Man, talk about a bunch of babies! Looks like I won this round, you guys!" Natsu has his fists on his hips and laughs, as everyone stops fighting with each other. As he laughs, Makarov steps on him causing (Y/N) to grimace and Lucy to make a noise in fear. 

"Well, seems we've a new recruit." Makarov notices Lucy, startling the blonde.

"Yes, sir!" Lucy squeaks out. He retracts to his normal size to the astonishment of Lucy as she stares dumbstruck. Makarov raises his hand to greet Lucy. He is an extremely short, elderly man. He has black eyes and is growing bald with only the outer rims of his head containing white hair, he also has a thick white mustache. He's wearing an orange sweater with drawstrings and matching pants, he has a white shirt with a black Fairy Tail emblem in the middle. He has an orange and light blue "jester-like" hat, his shoes are pointy and brown.

"Nice to meet ya!" He says in a joyful tone to Lucy, smiling at her and (Y/N). 

"He's tiny! This little guy's really in charge here?" She sounds astonished at the Guild Master's appearance.

"Lucy, don't be rude." (Y/N) says jokingly with a slight smirk on her face looking at her, still petting Lumi as the grey cat hovers beside her.

"Of course he is! Allow me to introduce the Fairy Tail Guild Master, Makarov." Mira introduces Master Makarov to Lucy. After introductions, he turns and leaps to the second floor overlooking the guild common area. He hits his back on the railing and ends up on his back and groans in pain for a moment before getting up to his feet, standing on the railing. 

He clears his throat and begins to lecture the guild, as everyone looks at him with a bit of guilt.

“You’ve gone and done it again, you bunch of clods. Just take a look at how much paper work the Magic Council sent me this time,” He raises his hand to show a stack of papers and continues, “This is the biggest pile of complaints yet." 

"Remember the magic council? Well, they monitor all of the different wizard guilds." the Narrator explains.

"Have you lost your minds?! All you kids are good for is getting higher-ups mad at me!" The crowd murmurs to each other at this, looking guilty. (Y/N) holds her left bicep, as she and Lumi look down slightly in regret, while Lucy looks at the Guild Master in concern for the guild. Makarov exhales and continues, “However… I say to heck with the Magic Council.” He says before setting the stack of papers on fire, and throws them down into the crowd. Natsu jumps up and catches the stack of flaming papers and begins eating it as Lucy looks on in awe.

“Now listen up. Any power that surpasses reason still comes from reason, right? Magic isn’t some kind of miraculous power. It is a talent that only works when the flow of energy inside of us and the flow of energy in the natural world are in perfect synchronization. To perform magic, one must have a strong mind and the ability to focus. It should take over your being and come pouring out of your soul. If all we do worry about following rules, then our magic will never progress. Don’t let those blowards on the council scare. Follow the path you believe in. ‘Cause that’s what makes the Fairy Tail guild number one!”

He points his fist in the air with his index finger and thumb extended, the other guild members copy this action, cheering with each other.

~ Short Timeskip ~

"There. Now you're an official member of the Fairy Tail guild." Lucy gasps and squeals as she gets her guild mark, which is on the back of her right hand. She stares at it in wondrous joy as Mirajane welcomes her to the guild. 

"Hey Natsu, (Y/N), look. Mirajane just put the official Fairy Tail mark on my hand!" Lucy excitedly shows the two that she is now a member of the guild.

 "Oh yeah? That's cool. Welcome to the guild, Loony." Natsu looks uninterested with his back turned to her, at the request board, (Y/N) standing to his left, seemingly more interested than he is, turns her head to look at the Celestial Wizard.

"The name's Lucy!" Unimpressed by Natsu’s lack of enthusiasm, she yells to correct him. 

"That's great Lucy! Really proud of you!" She smiles at her, her hands behind her back with Lumi standing on the ground, clinging to her leg shyly. She then turns back to looking at the request board.

"This is the request board. The wizards can pick from any of the jobs listed on the board. Each presents a unique challenge, and a different pay rate." Explains the Narrator.

"Make sure you pick one with a big reward, Natsu!" Happy reminds Natsu, standing to his right.

"Whoa, 160,000 jewel to get rid of some thieves?" Natsu picks a job from the request board, excited at not only the reward, but to also get started on the job. (Y/N) seems equally as excited, peaking over his left shoulder, both hands resting on said shoulder at the piece of paper.

"Sounds good to me!" Happy sounds just as excited as Natsu and (Y/N).

"How come my dad hasn't come back yet?" Romeo, a young black haired boy, concerned that his father has not returned home, asks Makorov, who is drinking on the counter at the bar.

"You're starting to get on my nerves, Romeo. You're a wizard's son. Have faith in your father and wait patiently for him." Makarov scolds Romeo.

"But sir, he told me he'd be back in three days. And he's been gone for over a week now!"

"If I remember correctly, he took the job on Mt. Hakobe." Makarov off-handedly comments.

"That's right. And it's not that far from here, so why won't somebody go look for him?!"

"Listen, kid, your old man's a wizard. And like every other wizard in this guild, he can take care of himself. Now go home, and have some milk and cookies, and wait!" As he continues to drink and shout at Romeo, Natsu and (Y/N) look on solemnly as Makarov reprimands the young child. Mirajane drys a plate looking disheartened as Lucy looks saddened at the scene.

"JERK! I HATE YOU ALL!" Romeo has had enough of Makorov and punches him in the nose and runs away, out of the guild, crying. 

"That's gotta be tough." Lucy says, saddened at the display.

"I know it sounds like the master doesn't care, but he really is worried." Mira explains to Lucy, sympathizing with Romeo.

Natsu punches the job board, leaving a crack in it as he walks away. 

"What do you think you're doing?! You almost broke the board, Natsu." Nab exclaims to the fire wizard.

Makarov sighs as Natsu and Happy walk out of the guild hall, (Y/N) and Lumi trailing after them, as both Dragon Slayers carry their bags with them.

"This doesn't look good, Master. You know how they can be. I bet they're going up to Mt. Hakobe to save Macao." Nab says concerned to Makarov.

"When are those kids gonna grow up?" Says the one Natsu punched when he entered the guild with Lucy and the others.

"Who knows? Going after Macao isn't going to do anything except hurt his pride." Nab replies.

"Remember Nab, we can't choose another's path. Just leave them be." Makarov says self-opinionated.

"Why did Natsu and (Y/N) get so upset?" Lucy asks concerned for the two after Natsu's outburst as she looks in the direction they went.

"Probably because those two and Romeo have a lot in common. I think they see themselves in Romeo. Just because we're members of Fairy Tail, it doesn't mean we have our own personal issues. We've all had our fair share of suffering and loss." Mira explains solemnly to Lucy as she continues to wash dishes.

~ Timeskip ~

"Why'd you come with us?" Natsu groans out to Lucy.

He's lying on his stomach on the bench in the carriage they're riding in. Lucy and (Y/N) are sitting opposite him, although (Y/N) is leaning on Lucy in the same condition as Natsu, as Happy and Lumi sit on the floor.

"I thought maybe I could help. Wow, you guys really do have a serious case of motion sickness, don't you? It's just another reason to feel sorry for you." She says in a presuming tone as she puts her hands to her face in false sympathy.

 "What's that supposed to mean?!" Natsu groans out, almost offended at the implication.

"Oh, nothing! Forget I said anything." She says flustered, when she suddenly has a somber expression recalling something Mira told her.

~ Flashback ~

"Many years ago Natsu's father and (Y/N)'s mother left and never came back. Well, technically they weren't their real father and mother, but the ones who raised them. They were actually dragons." Lucy pictures two dragons and gasps in alarm at the thought.

"THEY WERE A WHAT?!" She yells out in fright. "They were really raised by dragons?" She continues her question as Mira nods in confirmation.

"When he was a little boy, a dragon found him in the forest. He took him in and taught him about language, culture and magic. But one day, the dragon disappeared and never returned. The same goes for (Y/N)." Mira continues her explanation for Natsu and (Y/N)'s reaction. 

"So those dragons must have been Igneel and Nivalis." Lucy says in realization. 

"That's right." Mira confirms for Lucy.

"They both live for the day when they finally see Igneel and Nivalis again. It's kind of cute, don't you think?" She giggles softly in a fond manner at the thought of the two.

~ Present ~

The carriage suddenly stops, as Natsu and (Y/N) perk up at the abrupt stop.

"I guess we're there." Lucy states.

"ALL RIGHT! WE'RE STOPPED MOVING!" He and Happy laugh and dance merrily at the stopped carriage as the former has fire coming from his mouth. (Y/N) sits up from her slumped position, glad at the halted carriage, although she and Lumi have more decorum than the other two. (Y/N) smiles warmly at their (mostly Natsu's) reaction.

"I'm sorry, but this is as far as I can get you." As the driver reveals this he opens the doors to show they've arrived at a vast, snow covered mountain range. Strong winds blow ice and snow across the land as dark clouds cover the sky. 

Lucy sits down in the opening, looking around as she gets out, (Y/N) sits between her and Natsu, holding onto Lumi, ready as well. Lucy looks out at the frozen wasteland they arrived at. Natsu stands to the girls' left, observing the landscape. Happy is holding on to the door, trying not to get blown away in the wind. 

"WHOA!" Happy exclaims as he clings to the open door.

"Where the heck are we, Natsu?! It's a frozen wasteland!" Shouts Lucy through the howling winds.

~ Timeskip ~

Natsu, Lucy, and (Y/N) are walking along the mountain side, as the relentless wind and snow continues to inhibit their progress. None of them dressed for the weather. Lucy is walking behind Natsu and (Y/N), Lumi is being held by the latter, and Happy is clinging on to Natsu’s shoulder. Lucy looks uncomfortably cold, as she rubs her arms in hopes to bring warmth back into them. Natsu and (Y/N) look unbothered by the weather.

"Why is it so cold?! I know we're on a mountain, but it's summer right now! There shouldn't be a blizzard like this anywhere!" Lucy complains to the group.

"That's what you get for wearing light clothing." Natsu responds, looking back at her.

"Oh, please! You guys aren't dressed for it! Now hand over that blanket!" She demands from the fire wizard as she tugs on the blanket attached to his backpack.

"Gosh, she just keeps on talking, huh?" Natsu comments.

"Aye…" Happy agrees.

"Oh, I know! OPEN GATE OF THE CLOCK CONSTELLATION, HOROLOGIUM!" Lucy makes the impromptu decision to summon one of her spirits. The bow of the key is designed similar to a cuckoo clock with the crest in the middle, colored brown. The spirit is a tall brown grandfather clock with long, black arms, a glass case, a Roman-numerical clock at the center and a small face at the top with slit eyes and a thin, twirly, mustache-like mouth. The other four look amazed at the sudden appearance of the celestial being. 

"A clock, whoa." "That is so cool!" Natsu and Happy say simultaneously as they look on in amazement.

As Lucy is now inside Horologium wrapped in Natsu's blanket, she begins to speak, although none of the others are able to understand her.

"Wait, I can't hear you." States Natsu in confusion.

"She says, "I'm staying in here, and I'm not coming out."" Horologium repeats what Lucy is saying.

"Then why'd you come along?" (Y/N) asks, confused.

""What kind of crazy job would force Macao to come to a place like this?" She inquires." Horologium relays.

"You should have asked that before you came with us. He went to slay a vulcan. It's a big monster." Natsu crosses his arms as he and (Y/N) converse with Lucy through Horologium. Lucy gasps in dread at this as he and (Y/N) continue walking alongside the mountain to find Macao, leaving Lucy and Horologium behind, not bothering to wait for them to catch up.

""I want to go back to the guild," she proclaims." Relays Horologium.

"Go ahead and be my guest, I say back." Natsu says sarcastically, marching on, as (Y/N) giggles into one of her hands at the remark, the other still holding onto Lumi.

"Aye." Happy says in agreement. 

~ Timeskip ~

"MACAO! WHERE ARE YOU?!" Natsu shouts out to Macao as he and (Y/N) continue to climb the mountain. "MACAO!" Happy shouts.

"Natsu! Happy! Be careful! You're gonna cause an avalanche if you continue all this screaming. If you do that, we, well at least the two of you, won't be able to look for Macao at all. Plus, with all this yelling you might attract a monster to us." (Y/N) scolds the two, a stern look on both her and Lumi's face. Just as she says this, a vulcan jumps down from higher up in the mountains, smashing the ground in front of the group. Natsu and (Y/N) are able to dodge in time, as Happy and Lumi scramble away from the vulcan. The monster chuckles at them.

"See! What did I tell you!" She reprimands the two with a stern look on her face. Natsu and (Y/N) are in fighting stances as Lumi, down by (Y/N)'s leg, is cowering behind the ice mage, while Happy stands beside the fire mage. 

"THAT'S A BIG VULCAN!" Happy, startled, exclaims.

"Huh?" The vulcan grunts out, snorting, as if searching for something, when suddenly he chuckles. The vulcan takes off in the direction the group was coming from, leaving Natsu and (Y/N) where they are. 

"HEY, WAIT!" Exclaims (Y/N), as the group looks in the direction the vulcan runs off in.

The vulcan finds Lucy and Horologium. He picks up the spirit, which horrifies Lucy, as she is still hiding in him. 

"Me like human woman." The vulcan states running off with Lucy and Horologium over his head. 

"So it can talk, huh?" Natsu, covering his fist with his other hand, smiles at the thought of fighting the vulcan, while it takes off.

""Don't just stand there. Hurry up and save me," she yells furiously." Horologium relays as the vulcan giggles still running off with Lucy and the clock spirit.

~ Timeskip ~

"Near the summit of Mt. Hakobe…" The Narrator reveals.

The vulcan can be heard grunting happily as he had taken Lucy and Horologium to his cave. Lucy is quite anxious at the turn of events. The vulcan can be seen dancing around the clock, clearly happy with himself. 

""How did I get myself into this mess? And what's with this giant monkey?! Why is he so excited?" She asks tearfully." Relays the clock spirit covering his face. 

"WOMAN." The vulcan puts his face up to Lucy, looking at her through Horologium’s glass, steam coming from his nose as she whimpers from the close proximity.

Horologium then vanishes back to the celestial spirit world, much to the dismay of Lucy, who breaks down crying at being left alone with the vulcan.

"Where'd you go, Horologium?! Don't you disappear on me!" She cries out.

"Sorry, but my time is up. Take care." The clock spirit can be heard as he disappears.

"GIVE ME AN EXTENSION, PLEASE!" She wails out at Horologium.

"HEY, YOU BIG APE! WHERE'S MACAO?! TELL ME!" Natsu can be heard shouting as the vulcan is about to grab Lucy, catching their attention. Natsu and (Y/N) storm into the cave, Happy and Lumi flying behind them. 

"Whoa!--" Natsu grunts out as he suddenly slips on the ice and falls on his back, spinning down the ice with his legs sticking up. (Y/N) slides to a stop where they 'planned' on stopping as Natsu continues sliding, she crosses her arms, putting a hand to her face, sweat-dropping.

"Whoa. That wasn't cool. Why does he feel like he has to make an entrance all the time?" Lucy has a very distressed look on her face as she rests her face on her palm, her expression mirroring the one (Y/N) has. 

"Great job, Natsu, amazing entrance." (Y/N) sarcastically comments, standing beside Lucy, hand still on her face, arms crossed.

"Spill it, monkey. Where is our friend?" Natsu grunts out upside down to the vulcan. Lucy and (Y/N) quickly walk over to Natsu, (Y/N) standing beside him, as Lucy stands behind the two.

"You understand me, right? He's a human man. Now tell me where he is." He demands to the vulcan. The beast seems to think about Natsu's question for a second.

"Man?"

"That's right! Where are you hiding him?!" He once again demands to the vulcan, a serious look on his face.

"Don't you think you might be jumping to conclusions?" Lucy questions, concerned.

"Man!"  The vulcan waves his hand at Natsu and (Y/N) and points to his right.

"Hey, I think he's gonna show us! (Y/N) c'mon!" He grabs (Y/N)'s wrist, pulling her towards the hole.

"Natsu, I don't know about this! What if it's a trick?" She tries to reason with him, although it seems to go through one ear and out the other as he drags her to the hole anyways. The two look out of the opening the vulcan pointed to, the wind was still howling.

"MACAO! WHOA– MONKEY!" Natsu yells out, when the vulcan pushes the two out of the hole, sending them falling down the mountain. 

"GODDAMN IT, NATSU!" (Y/N) screams out in frustration at Natsu as she falls with him.

"NATSU! (Y/N)!" Lucy yells in distress as she rushes over to the hole and looks down to where the two fell.

"NO LIKE MAN. ME LIKE WOMAN!" The vulcan whoops out happily as he jumps from foot to foot in glee.

"This is bad news! He can't survive out there. Maybe (Y/N), but not Natsu." She says in concern, "NATSU! (Y/N)!" Lucy continues shouting for the two.

"Woman. Woman. Woman." Grunts the vulcan. "Woman Woman Woman Woman Woman." He repeats five more times, chuckling to himself. This seems to be the breaking point for Lucy as she turns back to the vulcan, casting aside her blanket, frowning at the beast.

"All right, you pervy monkey, you're going down! OPEN, GATE OF THE GOLDEN BULL! TAURUS!"  Lucy summons her spirit Taurus, the Golden Bull. A head of a bull is carved in the base of the bow with two horns sprouting out on its side, surrounding a white center with the crest of the Golden Bull, colored in black. The blade of the key is designed similar to that of a two-sided axe, each side designed with an S facing the opposite direction. The blade culminates in a pointed tip. As he appears, he flexes his muscles and cow bells and moos can be heard.

The spirit is an extremely tall, heavily muscular and athletic minotaur. His body is covered in a black and white pattern similar to that of Holstein Friesian cattle, and the upper part of it, from the waist up, seems more massive than the lower one. His head is bovine in shape, with small, elongated ears jutting outwards from the sides of his head, and a pair of horns, testifying him as a bull, sitting on top of it. He has dark eyes, and his flat nose bears a large golden ring in it, similar to those worn by real bulls. The tail sprouting from his back, ending in a dark tuft.

Taurus wearing a dark indument, similar to a pair of swim briefs, held up by a silver, studded belt, with a belt buck reminiscent of his symbol. He also wears simple dark boots, and has a brown belt circling his neck, to which a golden cowbell is attached. His forearms are wrapped in bandages, and he wears brown fingerless gloves. Crossing his chest diagonally and passing over his right shoulder is a large, plain dark belt closed by a simple buckle, to which attaches his signature axe.

"Cow?" The vulcan says in a confused manner at the sudden appearance of the bull spirit.

"I should warn you, monkey boy, Taurus is the most powerful celestial spirit that I have a contract with." She remarks angrily to the beast.

"Oh, wow, Miss Lucy. I almost forgot what a nice figure you have. Why don't you come give me a smooch?" The bull spirit unashamedly flirts with Lucy.

"Oh yeah, and he's a big perv too." Lucy puts a hand to her head in discomfort at Taurus' flirtations.

"No touch my woman!" The vulcan demands at Taurus.

"Your woman? Them's fightin' words, you moo-nkey!" Angerly, the bull spirit gets ready to fight the vulcan.

"Get him!" Lucy commands Taurus as he leaps up into the air, wielding his axe and making a swinging motion as he strikes the ground. As he does so, a shock wave from the force of the axe is sent toward the vulcan, forcing him to dodge.

 "He's fast!" As she says this, the vulcan leaps in the air to take a strike against Taurus. Miraculously, Natsu and (Y/N) return as the former kicks Taurus in the jaw, thinking he was another monster.

"Natsu!" Lucy shouts in shock. Not only at the entrance, but also him attacking her spirit.

"Looks like this is the end for me…" Taurus groans, knocked out because of the fire wizard. "Epic fail!" Distressed, Lucy exclaims looking in Taurus' direction. "Hey. So how come there are more monsters now than when we left?" Natsu gestures to the vulcan with his thumb, wondering why there are more monsters than before with Lucy.

"HE'S A FRIEND, DUMMY! ONE OF MY SPIRITS!" Lucy is beyond pissed with Natsu now,

"That guy?" Natsu, confused, points with his thumb at the vulcan. (Y/N), arms crossed, face-palms at Natsu's stupidity.

"No, Natsu! Obviously not him!" (Y/N) scolds him, exasperated.

"NOT HIM! THE BULL!" She yells, then stops, as if coming to a realization, "Wait a minute, how were you able to survive out there?" Lucy continues, confused. 

"Happy came to save us. Thanks, little buddy." Natsu 

"Yeah, thanks, Happy!" (Y/N) commends Happy at the save.

"Aye!" Happy says. Lucy crosses her arms when Natsu says Happy rescued him.

"So you can't handle other modes of transportation, but flying with Happy's okay? Also, Happy, I thought you could only carry one person at a time?" Natsu looks offended when Lucy implies that Happy, and by extension Lumi, is a mode of transportation. 

"I don't remember saying that." Happy feigns ignorance to the question directed to him.

"What kind of stupid question is that? Happy isn't a mode of transportation. He's my friend. I mean, duh." Natsu stares at Lucy with a look of exasperation as if it's the most obvious thing in the world, as Lucy has a blank expression on her face in response.

"You're right. It was totally wrong of me to compare the two." Lucy says in a sarcastic manner.

"Don't worry Lucy, they're just being dramatic." (Y/N) states to Lucy, right hand waving up and down, her left resting on her cheek, eyes closed in an almost delighted manner, a smile on her face.

"MY WOMAN!" The vulcan jumps up from behind Natsu and (Y/N), about to strike both with his giant fist. Natsu blocks the attack with his arm, as (Y/N) dodges out of the way towards Lucy, as if to protect her from any attacks or debris.

"You listen up. I consider everyone in the Fairy Tail guild my friend." He states determinedly with a grunt as he's kicked by the vulcan across the cave. The force of the kick causes Natsu to slide across the ice, still on his feet, arms blocking his face.

"Whether it's Gramps and Mira, or even those annoying jerks Gray and Elfman." He stands straight up from his blocking position. "Happy, (Y/N), Lumi, and Lucy too. They're all my friends." A red magic circle appears beneath his feet as fire starts coming from said magic circle.

"Which is why…" He continues as the vulcan shouts making an attempt to attack Natsu, "…I'M NOT LEAVING WITHOUT MACAO!" As the beast is about to strike him, Natsu delivers a fire kick to the vulcans stomach, making the monster hit the ceiling of the cave and fall to his feet across from Natsu, as stalactites of ice fall. He grins at the vulcan, ready for the beast's attack.

The vulcan claps his hands and ice shoots toward Natsu, Lucy, and (Y/N). Lucy jumps out of the way of the incoming ice, Natsu remains standing where he is, melting the ice as it hits his body, his arms outstretched to either side of him. 

"ICE-MAKE ICE WALL!" (Y/N) makes an ice shield to protect her and Lucy. Her ice seemingly has a light purple hue to it, as opposed to the blue tinted ice surrounding them, as a large wall of ice shoots up from the ground in front of them. (hex #ccccff if anyone's curious)

"YOUR ICE ATTACK HAS NO EFFECT ON FIRE!" Natsu shouts as he's pelted with icicles that melt on contact. The steam from the melted ice clears, now showing the monster, who can be seen holding onto Taurus' discarded axe and wielding it with intent as the vulcan chuckles.

"That's not good." Natsu states with a frown as Lucy and (Y/N) have a shocked look on their faces.

"He's got Taurus' axe!" Lucy says, alarmed.

"Please, be careful, Miss Lucy." The bull spirit groans out with a dazed look on his face.

The vulcan swings the axe horizontally at Natsu as he backflips away from the attack. The vulcan tries two more vertical strikes at Natsu, which he dodges with ease. Natsu then slips and falls backwards, much to the shock of (Y/N) and Lucy. 

"NO!" "NATSU!" Lucy and (Y/N) shout simultaneously in distress at Natsu. 

The vulcan takes this opportunity to strike at him while he's on his back. Natsu manages to sit up in time as he uses his hands, straining to stop the blade by pressing his palms together to each side of it. 

"Go back, Taurus! If you go back beyond the gate, your axe will disappear too!" Lucy desperately commands to Taurus without success, trying to shake him awake. (Y/N) kneels beside Lucy, also attempting to shake him awake, while also keeping an eye on Natsu to make sure he's still doing alright.

Natsu uses his fire magic to heat up the axe, causing it to melt and drip into his mouth. The vulcan makes a questioning sound at the sight. Lucy and (Y/N) look at what's happening, as the former is surprised to see Natsu able to heat the blade. Happy and Lumi are flying beside them, also observing the fight. 

"Is he melting the blade with his body heat?" Lucy asks unsettled at the display of strength.

"Uh-huh." Happy responds back.

"Oh yeah, now I got some fire in my belly." Natsu, mouth full of melted metal, says. He shoots the hardened metal at the vulcan, pelting him with said metal as the monster falls backwards, whimpering in pain. Natsu hits his fists together and quickly summons a magic circle. 

"EAT THIS! FIRE DRAGON IRON FIST!" Natsu leaps up with a fist on fire and punches the vulcan, sending him flying backwards, landing on his back upside down. 

Natsu, Lucy, and (Y/N) stand before the unconscious vulcan. Happy and Lumi hovering beside Lucy. 

"We beat him!" Happy yells in delight.

"Yeah, but wasn't this monkey supposed to tell us where your friend is?" Lucy comments.

“Oh. Forgot about that." Natsu chuckles, scratching the back of his head. 

"Well, I don't think he's gonna do much talking." She retorts back.

The vulcan suddenly begins to emit a strong light along with a large amount of magic. The group shields their eyes. 

"What in the heck was that?" He says in shock at what's in front of him. 

"Macao?" Both Natsu and (Y/N) gasp out simultaneously as their eyes widen in shock at the sight before them. Macao now in place of the vulcan. 

"Are you telling me that big perverted monkey was actually your friend this whole time?!" Lucy exclaims out, confused.

"Yeah, he must have been taken over by that vulcan." (Y/N), distracted, explains to Lucy, almost in a daze due to the shock of the reveal. 

"What do you mean, 'taken over'?" The latter asks back.

"It must have used a possession spell on him. You see, vulcans survive by stealing people's bodies and taking them over. They're evil body snatchers!" Happy explains for (Y/N) to Lucy.

~ Brief Timeskip ~

Macao is laid on Natsu's red blanket with bandages covering his stomach and arms. Natsu, Lucy, (Y/N), Lumi, and Happy are all kneeling around him. 

"It looks like he put up a good fight before that vulcan finally got to him though." Solemnly Happy states looking at the poor condition Macao ended up in.

"Macao, don't you die on me! Romeo's waiting for you! Open your eyes!" Natsu in desperation yells at him not to die.

"C'mon, Macao! You gotta wake up for Romeo!" (Y/N), with a similar desperate air to her, pleads with Macao to wake up.

"Natsu? (Y/N)?" Macao’s eyes slowly open, much to the delight of everyone present, he groans, confused at the sight of the fire and ice wizards. 

"You're okay!" Natsu, elated at Macao's wellbeing, has a large smile on his face. (Y/N) and Lucy have large smiles on their faces as well at the conscious man laying in front of them. 

"I'm so pathetic. I defeated 19 of those brutes." Macao states disappointed in himself.

"Huh?" Disbelief can be seen on Lucy's face at the confession. 

"But the 20th, that's the one that got me. I'm so angry with myself. I'm embarrassed to go home and face Romeo." Macao can be seen stewing in his shame, struggling to even get the words out.

"Don't be like that. Come on, man. You beat 19 monsters." Natsu says in an encouraging tone to the beat up man.

'No way. There were 20 of those giant monkey things? And he took on the job all by himself?' Lucy's in disbelief to learn how many vulcans there were, and Macao was able to defeat nineteen of them. Natsu extends his hand to help Macao up as (Y/N) and Natsu have an excited look on their faces.

"Now let's go home. Your little boy's been waiting for you." (Y/N) says excitedly.

'They're amazing. I can't even begin to compare to them.' Lucy thinks to herself with a fond expression. Happy calls her out on it and makes fun of her. 

"Why are you grinning like that, Lucy? It's creepy." Happy jests at Lucy, paw to his face.

"I'll show you creepy. Watch your back." Threatened Lucy through gritted teeth. 

~ Timeskip ~

The sun is setting as the group of wizards and flying cats return back to Magnolia, just as Romeo is sitting on the stairs, upset. 

"Hey, Romeo!" Natsu yells to Romeo as he and the others smile and wave at him. Romeo’s eyes widened in disbelief, he begins to cry as he sees his dad again. 

"DAD!" He leaps up and hugs Macao, causing them both to fall to the ground. Lucy looks shocked that they fell. The others are smiling joyfully at the heartwarming scene. 

"You came back! I'm so sorry, dad!" Wails Romeo, crying in his dad's arms as they both sit on the ground.

"No, I'm sorry for making you worry." Reassures Macao to his son, squeezing him tight.

"I can handle it, 'cause I'm a wizard's son." Romeo says with conviction.

"Next time those bullies pick on you, here's what I want you to say: "Can your old man defeat 19 monsters by himself? 'Cause mine can." Macao instructs his son. Romeo gets up and shouts to the group as they walk down the street as the sun sets.

"NATSU! (Y/N)! THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!” Romeo shouts after them.

"No prob, kiddo." Natsu shouts, waving back at the boy.

"Aye!" Happy adds.

"LUCY, THANKS FOR HELPING TO BRING MY DADDY BACK TO ME!" Romeo shouts at Lucy.

Lucy turns to wave back at Macao and Romeo, giggling as she does so.

“Well, if you didn't drink all day…” Macao sits with his back resting against the table, Cana is sitting normally. 

At another table sits Natsu, (Y/N), Happy, and Lumi, while Lucy stands to the side. The two cats sit on the table in front of their respective Dragon Slayers, the fire and ice mages sit across from each other as the former has his chin on the table with a disgruntled expression, while (Y/N) rests her chin in her right hand as her left rests on the table in front of her, her brows furrowed as if in deep thought, a small frown on her face, while Lumi looks at her in concern.

“I guess we should probably try to find another stupid job.” Natsu grunts out in irritation.

“Aye, we're running out of food money.” Happy points out to the others, annoyed at the outcome.

"Well, if you guys weren't spending it foolishly…" (Y/N) comments offhandedly to herself, Lumi nodding in agreement.

“If we'd taken that two million jewel reward, we'd be sittin' pretty.” Lucy reminds the others before looking up as if reminded by something. "And I can't let myself forget that rent's gonna be due next. I guess I'd better find work too." She turns towards the request board.

"Hmm…" Lucy's looking at all the different requests with the intent of obtaining a job. "Finding a magic bracelet, breaking a spell on a cursed cane? Reading someone's love horoscope, hunting a volcano demon? Jeez, I had no idea wizarding jobs were so varied." She mutters to herself, a hand on her chin in thought. Nab stands next to her with his arms crossed, also looking at the board.

Mirajane approaches them as Lucy looks at her. "Well, let me know if you find one you're interested in taking on. The Master's away at a conference, so I'm covering for him." She raises her right hand in offering.

"What kind of conference?" Lucy questions the white haired mage, removing her hand from her chin.

"One for the Guild Masters. Every once in a while, they all get together to talk about the state of things." She puts a finger to her chin in thought. "It's like the magic council, but not." She turns to a mage named Reedus. "Excuse me, Reedus? Could I borrow a light pen?" She asks him.

"Oui." He hands her a Light Pen, a normal-looking, light-colored pen with an arched clip, with its end adorned with a glowing nib. 

"A Light Pen is a magical item that allows the user to write in the air." The Narrator explains.

"The Council, Era, is the most powerful organization in the magical world. It's only one step below the government. It has 10 members, and it's their job to uphold all magical rules and regulations." Mira explains as she writes in the air. "And if a wizard breaks magical law, they would be tried by the council. Then there's the different Guild Master leagues, which are local groups who work together. Then the individual masters. It's their job to pass on the decrees of the council." Mira continues her explanation of things. "They also communicate with other Guild Masters on a regular basis. I guess you could say they're the glue that holds all of us together. Which is a pretty stressful job."

"Wow, I never realized that all the different magical guilds were interconnected like that." Lucy says in amazement.

"It's important that we cooperate with one another, otherwise our system would fall apart." Mira explains.

 "And then the Guys in Black would show up." Natsu pops in suddenly, his hand alight with flames, scaring Lucy.

"AAH!" Lucy shrieks in fright as Natsu throws his head back with his hands behind his head as he laughs. She has her right hand clenched in a fist over her heart as she grimaces at the pink haired boy in irritation. (Y/N) walks up behind the two, Lumi resting on her left shoulder, standing to Natsu's right with her arms loosely crossed, a slightly amused look on her and Lumi's faces at Lucy's reaction.

"That was almost too easy!" The fire Dragon Slayer burst out in laughter at her reaction. 

"You trying to scare me to death?" She scolds the pink haired boy as he continues to cackle at Lucy's distress.

"But seriously, the guys Natsu's talking about exist. They're the dark guilds. They've chosen not to join any of the leagues. They're the bad apples. And most of them are involved in magical crime." Mira points her index finger up and thumb out as she frowns at them. She circles ‘DARK GUILD’ on the chart she made.

"Wow." Lucy utters out in unease as Natsu stands beside her, a smug smile on his face, his hands resting on the back of his head. Lucy's standing with her hands behind her back.

"Would you just go and pick us a job already?" Natsu says in a somewhat condescending manner to the blonde while (Y/N) nods along. Lucy turns her head and glares at the two Dragon Slayers.

"You have got to be kidding me. What makes you think I'd wanna do that?" Lucy takes offence to his words.

"Well, we are a team now, aren't we?" (Y/N) ligh(Y/N)rtedly responds to Lucy, an easygoing smile on her face as she looks at the blonde.

"Yea, and we picked the job last time! It's your turn to pick, so get to it." Happy demands to Lucy as the aforementioned mage looks at him in confusion with an eyebrow raised.

"Just forget it, cat. As far as I'm concerned, our teams disbanded. And besides, you guys didn't actually want me. You just needed me last time because I'm blonde." Lucy turns away slightly and crosses her arms, frowning. 

Natsu drops his hands from his head and furrows his brow. "Don't be ridiculous. That's not the only reason we chose you." He turns to her with a large smile on his face. "We picked you 'cause you're so nice!" Lucy blushes slightly at the boy's statement.

"Please, Lucy? It'd be nice to have another girl on the team, right Lumi?" (Y/N) pleads with the Celestial mage, clasping her hands together and a furrow in her brow, before looking to the grey cat in confirmation, as the cat in question nods in agreement, a smile on her face.

"Hey, Lucy, I wouldn't stay with those losers if I were you. You'll get plenty of offers from other teams." Gray says to the group from another table, catching their attention, as he sits across from Cana, who's drinking heavily. He appears to have lost his clothes again.

"Your clothes, Gray." Cana reminds the Ice-Make mage.

"AAH!" The ice mage throws his arms up in the air at the revelation as he yells in surprise.

"Jerk!" Natus yells to Gray from the request board, the backs of his hands on hips.

Gray rises from the bar and he and Natsu butt heads with each other, their foreheads touching.

"Did you just call me a jerk, dragon boy?" Gray insults the fire mage.

"And what if I did? What are you gonna do about it?" Natsu jeers back at Gray.

"You mouth-breather!" The Ice-Make mage jabs back.

“At least I'm not a coward!" Natsu taunts.

"You're a spineless wimp!" Gray sneers to the fire mage.

"You're a freak!" The pink haired boy declares. 

"Looks like they're at it again." Happy comments. 

"What don't you join the team of love with me, Lucy? Later tonight, just the two of us?" As the two boys are arguing, Loke puts his arm around Lucy before taking a step back from her. (Y/N) and Lumi look at him with an annoyed expression at his actions towards the blonde as the former puts her hands on her hips in a disapproving manner.

"Say what?" Lucy awkwardly questions at the sudden attention.

"You're just so stunningly gorgeous. I have to keep my shades on when I look at you. Or I'll be blinded by your dazzling beauty." Loke pushes his glasses up in a flirtatious manner.

"Loke, you gotta stop flirting with every girl you see." The ice mage deadpans as Lumi nods in agreement, a similar expression on her face.

"Girls really fall for this?" She looks annoyed at his flirtations, shifting on her feet making her keys catch the light. He takes notice of Lucy’s celestial keys and hops away a short distance, one leg raised in fright.

"YOU'RE NOT A CELESTIAL WIZARD, ARE YOU?!" Loke shrieks out in fear.

"Huh?" Lucy and (Y/N) both make a noise in confusion at his reaction.

"Yeah, she's got cows and crabs and stuff." Happy tells Loke, mouth full of fish.

"AAH!" CURSE YOU FATE! WHY MUST YOU TOY WITH ME SO?! I'm sorry, but you and I can't be together, my dear!" Loke puts his right hand to his head in apparent distress. He quickly turns and runs away, out of the guild.

"What's gotten into him all of a sudden?" Lucy says in confusion.

"Loke has a bad history with celestial wizards. Rumor has it he dated one and it didn't end up very well." Mira informs the blonde.

"Ah, that makes sense… I guess." (Y/N) mutters to Lumi looking in the direction Loke went.

"Well, I'm not surprised–" Natsu’s body is suddenly flung in Lucy and (Y/N)’s direction while Mira watches and smiles as the three topple over while Lumi gets off the ice mages shoulder just in time as she hovers in the air, eyes wide and her paws covering her mouth in shock.

"That looked painful." Mira comments as the blonde lays face down on the ground, while (Y/N) lands on Lucy’s back on her front and Natsu lands on (Y/N)'s back, face up.

"Would the two of you just knock it off already?" Lucy groans out, crushed under the weight of two people, annoyed at Natsu and Gray's constant fighting, while (Y/N) groans in pain, a dazed look on her face.

"Natsu started it. I'm just following through." Gray flexes his bicep as Cana continues to drink behind him at the table.

"Where are your clothes?" Cana reminds the Ice-Make mage.

"AHH!" The black haired boy freaks out over his sudden loss of clothing.

"You're the one who was provoking me. You dirty slime ball." Natsu sits up, crushing Lucy and (Y/N)’s back a little, and stands before Gray with an angry look. The Ice Dragon Slayer gets up and helps the Celestial mage up from her position on the floor.

"Oh, yeah? What exactly did I do to provoke you? You fire clown." Gray, now composed, stares at Natsu with an equally angry look. Cana's sitting beside them, drinking straight from a barrel. 

"You pervy flasher!" Natsu retorts back, as he butts heads with Gray once again.

"Pink haired punk!" Gray counters. 

"Lame insults, guys." Lucy comments from the sidelines.

"They start to run out." Happy explains to her.

"Is that all you got?!" Gray questions. 

"Pretty much!" Natsu responds. The rest of the guild laughs as the two continue to bicker.

Loke bursts through the guild doors. "I'VE GOT BAD NEWS!" The others in the guild gasp at Loke's alarm to the rest of the guild. "It's Erza– she's on her way here." The guild is thrown into a panic at Loke’s words as they all scream in fright.

"Wow, just mention Erza, and the whole place freaks out." Lucy mutters to herself. 

"Well, she is the strongest female wizard we've got in Fairy Tail, and more than a bit intimidating." Mira explains to Lucy, while (Y/N) and Lumi absentmindedly nod along as everyone in the guild looks at the doors in anticipation.

"That's gotta be her." Laki deduces.

"Those sound like her footsteps." Wakaba makes an astute observation.

"Even the air's gotten completely still." Macao notices. 

"Jeez, from these reactions, you'd think she was some kind of demon or something." Lucy imagines a large raging monster. "I'm so scared!" She whimpers out.

"Well… she's not that bad. Everyone's just being dramatic." Even as she says this, (Y/N) has a nervous expression on her face.

"The look on your face tells me otherwise…" Lucy anxiously mutters out.

After a short time, the woman in armour from earlier walks into the guild hall, still carrying the giant horn over her shoulders. Lucy stares at her in amazement as she enters. The woman, who's known as Erza, lets the horn fall to the floor with a loud thud that shakes the hall. The guild members look unnerved at the sight of the Requip mage.

"I have returned. Where is Master Makarov?" Erza demands.

"Wow, she's pretty." Lucy offhandedly comments while putting a hand to her face in awe.

"That's Erza for ya. Scary, but insanely pretty." (Y/N) mentions to Lucy with a slight smile on her face, Lumi nodding along.

"Welcome back, Erza. The Master's at a conference right now." Mira informs the scarlet haired woman in her usual happy tone.

"I see." Erza turns her head from Mira to some other guild members.

"So, um, what's that humongous thing you got there?" A sand mage named Max asks.

"It's the horn of a monster that I defeated. The locals were so thankful, they decorated it and gave it to me as a souvenir." She turns towards the sand mage. "Do you have a problem with it?" She furrows her brows at them 

"NO, NOT AT ALL!" Max and the others put their palms up in protest as they sweat profusely from the accusation. 

"I bet she's heard about what happened at Mt. Hakube." Cana takes a break from drinking to speculate.

"You think so? Aw, man, I'm a goner." Macao says in defeat.

"She's not like anything I imagined." Lucy reflects.

Erza turns her attention to the others. "Now, listen up." She starts, catching everyone's attention. "While I was on the road, I heard a few things. Word is Fairy Tail is causing nothing but trouble as of late. Master Makarov may not care, but I most certainly do." She turns her attention to the card mage, who's still drinking heavily from a barrel. "Cana, you need to start controlling your drinking." Cana immediately stops drinking from the barrel and has a look of terror on her face, as if caught in the act. 

Erza continues to call out the rest of the guild members. "Vijeeter, please take the dancing outside, Wakaba, get rid of that filthy habit. Nab, I suspected I would find you dawdling in front of the request board. Just pick a job!" She turns towards the blue haired fire mage." Macao…" She sighs, almost as if in disappointment.

"Please just say something!" Macao says in a panicked tone.

The requip mage puts a hand to her forehead, shaking her head in disapproval. "I don't even know where to begin with you. You caused so much trouble. I've almost given up." 

"She's really tearing into everyone. It's like she's taking over." Lucy turns to Mira, whispering to her, a hand to her mouth.

"That's Erza for ya." Happy reiterates (Y/N)'s statement from earlier.

"Even if she is kinda bossy, she's still saner than anyone else here. I don't understand why everyone's so afraid of her." Lucy wonders.

"Are Natsu, Gray, and (Y/N) here?" Erza asks. At the mention of the two former mages names, they both have an arm around each other's shoulder while their other hands clasp in a mock "handshake" as all three sweat profusely at the attention of the Requip mage.

"Aye!" Happy responds.

"Hi, Erza, welcome back." (Y/N) gives a nervous closed eyed smile to the red haired woman as she waves to her.

"Oh, hey there, Erza. we're just hanging out like good friends tend to do." Gray 

"Aye!" Natsu agrees, copying Happy.

"Why is Natsu talking like Happy!" Lucy questions.

"That's great. I'm quite pleased to see the two of you getting along so well. However, it's only natural for even the best of friends to lock horns every now and again." Erza commands the two.

"I don't know if we're the best of friends." Gray reiterates. 

"Aye…" Natsu agrees.

"What's gotten into Natsu?!" Lucy says in confusion.

"He's scared. A few years ago, he challenged Erza to a fight, and she beat him up pretty bad." Mira explains.

"That was a stupid thing to do." Lucy retorts.

"After that, she found Gray walking around naked, so she decided to beat him up too." Macao contributes to the conversation

"And let's not forget, she also beat up Loke for trying to hit on her. He totally deserved it, though." Cana, who's sitting at a table with a beverage in front of her, says in a humorous tone.

"Yeah, can't say I blame her." Lucy replies. 

"And a couple years ago (Y/N) asked Erza if she wanted to have a girls day and Erza got so excited, she dragged (Y/N) out of the guild quite roughly, accidentally injuring her in the process." Mira provides

"Natsu, Gray, (Y/N)… I need you to do me a favour." The two stop leaning on each other. "While traveling, I overheard something that has me worried. Normally I would consult with the Master before acting, but he's not here and this is a matter of utmost urgency. The three of you are the strongest wizards here. I could really use your help."

"Did that just happen?" Laki murmurs

"Erza asked for help?" 

"This is definitely a first." Wakaba states.

"We'll meet at the train station tomorrow morning." Erza  has a serious expression on her face with her fists on her hips as she speaks to them, Natsu and Gray turn to each other in disbelief.

'Me and Natsu?' Gray is perplexed at the notion of being on the same team as Natsu.

'On the same team?' Natsu is equally bewildered.

'This is gonna go terribly, I can just feel it.' (Y/N) predicts, sweatdropping.

"Erza, Natsu, Gray, and (Y/N) working together? I never saw that one coming. This could be the most powerful team Fairy Tail's ever seen." Mira marvels.

Erza nods her head and crosses her arms. Lucy is staring at Natsu and Gray. 

~ Next Day ~

"Magnolia Station." The Narrator provides.

The group is at Magnolia Station waiting for their train, while Erza's not yet present. Natsu and Gray are yet again butting heads with each other. Lucy, (Y/N), Lumi, and Happy are sitting on a bench to the side. Happy's eating a fish with both paws, Lucy's holding Plue in her lap as she looks down in embarrassment, (Y/N) sits to the blonde's left holding Lumi in a similar way as the two watch the two boys argue in amusement.

"AAH! I hate this! Teaming up with you was the worst idea ever!" Natsu seethes out in frustration.

"Yeah, tell me about it. Erza made a huge mistake asking a huge loser like you to come along." Gray protests in equal annoyance.

"Fine then, why don't you just take care of it yourself?! I don't wanna go anyway!" Natsu shouts back.

"Sounds like a plan to me. Then I'll get to watch her beat you senseless." Gray taunts.

Lucy exhales, "Let's just sit here and pretend we don't know them." Lucy says in embarrassment as the two continue to argue. 

"What made you decide to come with us?" Happy says with a mouthful of fish.

"Mira asked me to tag along." Lucy explains to the cat.

~ Flashback ~

"Those two are gonna be at eachothers throats when Erza's not looking, so I want you to be there to stop them, okay?" Mira tells Lucy cheerfully.

"Who, me?! What about (Y/N)? She'll be there too!" Lucy protests in exasperation.

~ Back to Present ~

"You aren't doing a very good job." Happy is mostly unbothered by this, still eating his fish.

"They're hopeless." Lucy sounds defeated. 

“Sorry I'm late. Have you been waiting long?” Erza makes her presence known.

Natsu and Gray immediately stop arguing at the sound of Erza’s voice, while Lucy and (Y/N) turn their heads and smile at the red haired mage. 

"No, not really– Aah." Lucy's smile turns to shock when she sees the amount of belongings Erza brought with her, although (Y/N)'s reaction is more subtle, as she's used to the Requip mages traveling habits. Behind her is a large wagon that is full of luggage, stacked three suitcases high. A few other people who are waiting for their train look at the amount of luggage Erza has as Lucy and (Y/N) get up from the bench as the Requip mage approaches.

"Wow, look at that luggage!" Happy is amazed at the amount of luggage Erza has.

"ALL THOSE BELONG TO YOU?!" Lucy is perplexed.

"It's time to go, good buddy!" Gray is in an unnaturally cheerful mood.

"Aye! Ha-ha!" Natsu concurs with the ice mage.

"Listen, one Happy's enough!" Lucy says in frustration.

"Good, I really love to see the two of you getting along." Erza says to the two boys before turning to Lucy and (Y/N), addressing the Celestial mage. "And what was your name? I believe I saw you at the guild yesterday." The fire and ice mage start butting heads as soon as Erza's attention is off of them.

"My name's Lucy, and I just joined Fairy Tail. Mira asked me to come along with you guys so I could learn a thing or two. I hope that's okay with you." Lucy explains.

"The more the merrier. I'm Erza. Wait, you're the girl I heard about." She turns her head to look back at Natsu and Gray before turning back to lucy. "I was told you defeated a mercenary gorilla using only your pinky finger." Lucy gasps in shock at this. "It'll be great to have a wizard like you on board. Thanks for your help." Erza turns back at the boys as they briefly stop fighting. before they go back to arguing as Erza’s back is turned. 

"Oh, no, it's my pleasure." Lucy chuckles nervously.

“Hey, Erza, I'll come with you, but only under one condition.” Natsu calls to Erza.

"Shut up." Gray tries to silence Natsu in vain.

"Oh? Well, then let's hear it." Erza turns her head to hear what Natsu has to say as she takes interest in Natsu's pending request.

"'Kay, I wanna rematch when we get back to fairy tail." He holds up his clenched fist as he challenges the Requip mage, surprising the others, causing Lucy and Happy to gasp at his words.

"What's wrong with you? Got some kind of death wish?" Gray says in surprise and concern, putting his hand on Natsu’s shoulder in protest.

"Are you sure, Natsu? You do remember what happened last time, right?" (Y/N) reminds him with concern as she and Lumi look at him with slightly stunned expressions.

"I'm a lot stronger than I was last time. This time will be way different. 'Cause I'm gonna beat you." Natsu says with ill found confidence.

"Yes, I can tell you've improved. As to whether or not you can beat me, I suppose we'll have to see. I accept your challenge." Erza sounds quite calm.

"Oh, yeah! I'M FIRED UP!" Natsu flexes his arms and looks up as he breathes fire as he yells out.

~ Location Change ~

The group's now on the train, Gray leans on the window ledge, his right leg crossed over his left, Happy to his right eating a fish, and Natsu to Happy's right, trying to hold it together. The girls sit across from them with Lucy in the window seat across from the Ice-Make mage holding Plue in her lap, Erza to her left with her arms crossed, and (Y/N) to the Requip mage's left in the same predicament as Natsu with Lumi sitting in her lap.

"I swear you're totally pathetic, Natsu. One minute you're picking a fight, the next, you're like this." Gray complains, although excluding (Y/N) from his complaints as he actually somewhat likes the Ice Dragon Slayer.

"It's gotta be tough on them, getting from place to place." Lucy sympathizes with the two.

“Don't worry. They’ll be fine. Come here and sit with me, Natsu.” Erza shrugs at the blonde's concern.

'I– I guess she wants me to move.' Lucy turns and looks shocked at Erza's expectancy for her to move.

The blonde changes seats with Natsu. The fire mage leans against Erza with a sickly look upon his face, while the others look on curiously at what the red haired mage will do.

“Now just relax.” Erza punches Natsu in the abdomen and keels over onto her lap. Lucy sweats profusely at her actions, while (Y/N) pretends to be fine, turning the other way with her arms over stomach, worried she might be next.

"Aah!--" Natsu yelps out in pain.

 "There. That should make the trip a little easier on him." Erza explains to the other before turning her head towards the [Hair Colour] haired mage. "Would you like any help, (Y/N)."

"Nope! I'm good… I'll be fine." She nervously gives a shaky smile to the Requip mage with a thumbs up in her direction.

'Okay, maybe she's not as sane as I thought she was.' Lucy sweatdrops as she pretends not to watch the events in front of her.

"Erza, I think it's about time you started filling us in. I mean what kind of mission are we going on here?" Gray finally inquires.

"Oh course. I have reason to believe the dark build Eisenwald is planning something big. I'm not sure what exactly, but it has to do with a magic called Lullaby." The Requip mage explains to the others, although with Natsu out cold and (Y/N) trying to hold herself together, the two Dragon Slayer's don't retain any of the information.

"Lullaby?" Gray and Happy question in unison.

"Wait, that thing from before?" Lucy points her finger up in realization and turns to Gray with Erza looking at her with a serious expression.

~ Location Change ~

Meanwhile, the dark guild Eisenwald is up to mischief. Four members of the guild walk through a hallway. The member in the lead has a large scythe resting on his back. There are five people tied around their waists and are hung from the ceiling. 

"I hear Kageyama finally got back to us." Member #1 says to the others.

"Yeah, he says he actually found it." Member #2 replies.

"The moment of truth has arrived, gentleman. This means we're one step closer to achieving our goals. The Guild Masters will be too busy holding their conference, they won't even realize what's hit them." The member with the scythe asserts confidently. 

~ Location Change ~

"I see. So you've run into the Eisenwald guild before?" Erza asks the others.

"Well, I'm not positive they were part of Eisenwald. But they did mention Lullaby." Gray states, unsure.

"It sounds like they were members who dropped out of the guild and gone into hiding. Perhaps they wanted no part of whatever it is that's coming." Erza speculates. 

"So this thing is so bad it even scares dark wizards?" Gray questions.

"I'm only hypothesizing. But whoever you saw dragging off Happy and Lumi's kidnappers that day, must have been from Eisenwald. It's obvious that they didn't want their plans getting out." Erza presumes.

"What do you think they're gonna try?" Lucy asks worriedly. 

"Let me start from the beginning. Just the other day I was heading home after completing a job. I stopped by a pub in Onibas that I knew was a gathering spot for local wizards."

~ Flashback ~

“Come on, hurry it up, bartender!” A man in a light red jacket and black hair demands.

“Hey, relax a little.” A man with a yellow and black striped hood says. 

“And how am I supposed to do that? We finally managed to figure out where Lullaby’s hidden, but we can’t do anything. Because of some seal?" The man in the light red jacket states.

“Keep it down, man.” The man in the yellow and black hood warns.

“Don’t sweat it, you guys. Let me handle this one. You just head back to the guild, all right?” A man in a white jacket reassures the rest of the group.

“You sure, Kage?”

“You gonna be okay on your own?” 

“You don’t have to worry about me. Just tell Erigor that I’ll be coming back with Lullaby in three days.” The man in the white jacket states to his group.

~ Back to Present ~

"Lullaby? That's like a song you sing to kids to sleep." Lucy wonders out loud.

"Yes. And the fact that it had been sealed away means that it must be very powerful magic." Erza deduces to the group.

"You sure these guys you saw at the pub are with Eisenwald?" Gray questions her. 

"Yes. I can't believe I was such a fool that day. I didn't recognize his name. Erigor, the Ace of Eisenwald. He only accepts assassination requests, which is why he's earned the name, "Erigor the reaper."" Erza reveals.

"He kills for money?" Lucy's disgusted at this revelation. 

"When the council outlawed assassination requests, Eisenwald decided that money was more important than the council's rules. As a result, they were kicked out of their wizard league six years ago. But that didn't stop them. They've disobeyed orders and remained active to this day. They've disobeyed orders and remained active to this day." Erza explains.

"Okay, I should be heading back home now." Lucy trembles in her seat at the information the Requip mage provides.

"Lucy's slimy all of a sudden." Happy observes. 

"It's sweat!" Lucy snaps out.

Erza slams her fist on Natsu’s temple. "How could I be so careless? If only I had recognized Erigor's name that day… I could have pulverized them. I could have forced them to reveal their scheme to me." Erza says in a regretful tone.

"She's scary!" Lucy whimpers out, closed hands to her face in fear.

"So if I got this, Eisenwald's planning to do something with this Lullaby, and you want to stop them. Because after what you overheard, you're sure that it's gonna be something bad." Gray looks from the window to Erza in confirmation.

"That's correct. And I'm not fooling enough  to believe that I can take on an entire magical guild all by myself. That's why I asked you, Natsu, and (Y/N) for your help. We're storming the Eisenwald guild." She clarifies as her eyes shift to look at him.

"Sounds like fun to me." Gray smiles at her statement.

"Aye!" Happy chimes in.

"I shouldn't have come along." Lucy whimpers out as she starts sweating even more.

"Ew, now you're super slimy!" Happy comments to Lucy.

"I TOLD YOU IT'S SWEAT!" Lucy yells at the cat.

~ Time Skip ~

"Can't you give me a little discount, pretty please?" 

Lucy buys lunch for the group. They continue the conversation. Plue is trying to eat a carrot and Happy is continuing to eat a fish, Gray and Lucy are eating sandwiches, Erza's eating a cake, while Natsu and (Y/N) are left out.

"If you don't mind, what kind of magic do you practice, Erza?" Lucy inquires to Erza.

"That's a good question." Erza

"Era's magic is really pretty. She makes her enemies bleed a lot." Happy

"I don't know if I'd call that pretty." Lucy whimpers out at Happy's words

"Personally, I think Gray and (Y/N)'s magic is more beautiful than mine." Erza compliments the two ice mages.

“Oh, like this?” Gray puts his fist on his palm and stretches his arms forward and summons a blue magic circle. He opens his fist, and an ice sculpture of the Fairy Tail emblem appears on his palm. It floats over to the middle of the seating area towards Lucy. "I use ice magic."

"Now I understand why you and Natsu don't get along. He's fire and you're ice. Talk about not mixing very well." Lucy concludes.

"I never thought about that." Erza wonders.

"Nah, I just hate his guts. Plus, he and (Y/N) get along just fine." Gray refutes.

~ Location Change ~

The group arrives at Onibas station.

"You think the Eisenwald guys are still gonna be in this town?" Gray questions, he carries (Y/N) on his back with her face buried in his shoulder as she's unable to walk as Lumi and Happy sit on Erza's mountain of luggage as the latter pulls it along while the others walk beside her.

"I have no idea. That's what we're here to find out." Erza explains to the group.

"I'm still thinking maybe I should go home." Lucy mutters to herself.

"Hold on, where's Natsu?" Happy questions as the others turn towards the train. Lucy makes a surprised noise at the question. "Uh-oh, there he goes." The group stares at the train as it hurries away down the track toward the horizon. Happy waves at the train as it moves further away, with his brows furrowed, a smile on his face.

Lucy leans forward slightly with her arms down at her sides, her mouth agape in shock. Gray standing behind Lucy, he too has his mouth ajar, staring blankly at the train as it quickly disappears from sight. 

"We were so busy talking, I forgot about him." Erza's voice wavers a bit before turning the other way, raising a fist to her face in despair. "I am such a fool. Natsu hates all forms of transportation. This is all my fault. I need one of you to come and hit me for my penance." She scolds herself.

"That's a little much." Lucy says to the Requip mage, bringing a hand up in a placating manner.

~ With Natsu ~

Natsu is leaning forward in his seat on the train, feeling quite poorly. 

A man in a white jacket walks toward Natsu and stops at the row in front of the fire mage and rests his arm on the back of the bench. “Well, looky here. It’s a Fairy Tail wizard. How’s the guild treating you these days? Is it worth sticking around?”  

“What?” Natsu groans out at the question.

The man kicks Natsu in his face and leaves his boot upon the fire mage’s face, his arms crossed. “Don’t act all high and mighty just ‘cause you’re in a legal guild, Mr. Fairy. You guys who just blindly follow the Magic Council. Know what you look like to us? Harmless little flies.” Natsu’s arms are crossed as the man in the white jacket calls him what sounds like a derogatory term.

Natsu steps into the aisle and has his fists in flames outstretched at his sides. The man in the white jacket jumps back a few paces and puts his hands in his pants pockets. 

“Guess I hit a nerve.” The man taunts Natsu.

“You–” Natsu’s flames suddenly go out as the train jolts, causing Natsu to become sick again.

“Ha, what kind of magic is that? Let me show you how it’s done.” The man in the white jacket summons a dark purple magic circle around his feet. Three shadows appear at his feet and quickly shoot out toward Natsu, knocking him on his back. The man in the white jacket smiles at the downed fire mage. “It’s all in the follow-through.”

“That magic…” Natsu angrily looks up at the man as he's still on the ground. The man in the white jacket chuckles at Natsu's expression.

The train stops abruptly, causing both the man in the white jacket and Natsu to be flung away from each other. A disturbing looking flute flys from the man’s jacket and rattles on the floor of the car. There's a skull carved at the top, the skull resembles a human's, but has three eye sockets. 

~ With the Others ~

Back at the train station, Erza pulls down the emergency brake that causes the train to stop abruptly. A worker pleads at her as she stares at the worker. Lucy, Happy, Gray, Lumi, and (Y/N), who's feeling better now, are in the background, observing the Requip mage with deadpan expressions.

“What do you think you’re doing, lady? You can’t pull the emergency lever without permission.” The station worker tells her.

“It’s for our comrade. Please understand.” Erza explains to him.

“Are you kidding me?” He says, exasperated.

“Now I would like you to take our luggage to the hotel.” Erza demands.

“Do I look like a bellhop?!” The station worker takes offence.

“I’m starting to realize that all of the wizards in the Fairy Tail guild are just a little insane.” Lucy mutters to herself.

“Well, not all of us.” Gray states.

"Gray, your clothes…" (Y/N) utters out to him, a hand on her hip as she and Lumi look at him, deadpanned expression on their faces.

“Oh, yeah, where are your clothes?!” Lucy shouts at the Ice-Make mage.

~ With Natsu ~

Natsu kneels on one knee, looking down at the flute that fell out of the man’s jacket. 

“The train stopped. What is that?” Natsu observes before noticing the flute on the ground.

The man in the white jacket stumbles up. “You saw it.” He gasps out.

“That’s enough out of you! It’s payback time!” Natsu puts his fists together to create a red magic circle, lunging at the man with a fiery fist. 

“Guard Shadow.” The man in the white jacket quickly summons shadows to block Natsu’s attack. 

In the process of Natsu's strike, the interior of the train car is destroyed in the process. The man in the white jacket is on his back surrounded by the ruined car. He wipes his face with his sleeve. 

“Lucky shot.” He mutters out.

Natsu approaches him, flexing his right arm up, smiling slightly. He's much more confident now that the train stopped moving. 

“Hmm. Little fly, huh?” Natsu mocks the other man.

“Attention, all passengers, our emergency stop was a false alarm. We’ll be departing again shortly.” A woman says over the speaker causing Natsu to panic as he grabs his bag to leave the train. 

“Oh, crap, I gotta go.” He goes to grab his bags.

“Hold it right there! I’m not letting you get away that easily. You’re messing with Eisenwald now.” The man in the white jacket commands.

Natsu turns and frowns at him as he slings his bag over his shoulder. 

“Oh, so you’re Eisenwald, huh? I’ll show you what happens to people who knock Fairy Tail. How ‘bout we take this outside?” Natsu says in anger to the other man.

The train jolts forward slightly in preparation to begin moving again. Natsu instinctively puts his hand to his mouth as he immediately feels sick again. 

~ With the Others ~

"This is a magic-mobile. It’s a fast vehicle that runs on the driver's magic energy." The Narrator explains.

Not far outside, Erza is driving a magic-mobile. Lucy is in a passenger seat, leaning her body out the window, (Y/N) sitting next to her, a hand over her mouth and an arm over her stomach, and Gray hanging on to the roof. The magic-mobile does not have an enclosed pilot seat, nor a steering wheel, instead it has a single lever and two pedals, of which Erza has her feet on. There's also a cord that is connected to a cuff that's around Erza’s arm, using her magic to power the vehicle.

“Natsu!” Lucy yells out at him.

Ahead, the group sees Natsu get flung out of the train. The fire mage’s body collides with Gray’s and they both tumble to the ground. Erza quickly stops the vehicle to check on the two. 

“Natsu, are you all right?” Erza questions in concern.

“Aye.” Natsu strains.

Gray and Natsu stand up after a time. The rest of the group is out of the magic-mobile and is standing around the fire mage. 

“That hurt, you idiot!” Gray complains.

“Shut up, you icy freak! How come you guys left me on the train?!" Natsu shouts at the others.

“I’m just thankful you weren’t badly injured. I apologize, Natsu.” Erza grabs Natsu’s head and crushes him against her breastplate, much to the pain and dismay of Natsu. 

“Huh, it’s okay!” He whimpers out in pain.

“Well, I’m shaken up pretty bad. I got attacked by a weirdo on a train.” Natsu pulls back and puts his hand behind his head. Erza has her hands on her hips, Gray stands behind him with his left hand on his hip and his right arm down by his side, Lucy and (Y/N) standing beside Natsu and Erza, Lumi by their feet, while Happy stands in front of the Ice-Make mage, beside Natsu. 

“Are you serious?” The blonde asks in concern.

“I think it’s the dude that dragged away the guys who were going to eat Happy and Lumi. Said he was with Eisenwald.” Natsu crosses his arms and turns his torso slightly.

“You fool!” Erza’s eyes widen as Natsu says Eisenwald and slaps him across his face. The fire mage falls to the ground. Lucy, Gray, and (Y/N) look quite alarmed as they look on at Erza and Natsu from a safe distance. “That is exactly who we’re chasing after on this mission. Why did you let him get away?!"

“What the– this is the first I heard about it.” Natsu rubs his face with his hand as he looks up at Erza in hurt confusion.

Erza has her hands on her hips as she looks down at Natsu and lectures him. “I explained everything on the train. You should listen when people talk to you.”

“She already forgot that she knocked him out, didn’t she? This woman is unbelievably.” Lucy turns away, her hands on her face.

"Yep." Gray and (Y/N) utter in unison.

“That’s Erza for you!” Happy comments.

Erza puts the magic-mobile cuff on her forearm and starts the vehicle. “So he was on the same train that we were on. Let’s find him.” She says determined.

“But what was this guy like?” Gray faces Natsu with his left hand on his hip and right arm at his side, his brows furrowed, (Y/N) stands next to the other ice mage, her arms crossed, a serious expression on her face as she looks at Natsu.

“He didn’t look like somebody from a dark guild. But he did have this strange flute thing. It looked like a skull, except it had three eyes.” Natsu looks up in recollection of what the man looks like, crossing his arms in the process.

“A three eyed skull?” Lucy questions

“That’s creepy.” Gray states.

“Is there something wrong, Lucy?” Happy asks.

“It’s just, I’ve heard about that flute before. Lullaby… the cursed song. It’s death magic.” Lucy comes to the realization. Erza backs the magic-mobile closer to the group as the blonde says this. Happy stands on her thigh.

“What?” The Requip mage gasps out in shock.

“A cursed song? Like an incantation?” Gray asks.

“I’ve only ever read about them in books before, but there’s some deadly spells out there that are forbidden to be used by wizards.” The Celestial mage clarifies for the group.

“That’s right, there are cursed black magic spells that will kill the person they’re used on.” Erza adds onto Lucy's clarification

“Well, if I’m right, Lullaby is even worse.“ Lucy states.

~ Kunagi Station ~

”This train belongs to Eisenwald now!” Erigor declares.

“Kunugi Station” Narrator reveals.

“Get everything off the train– Luggage, the conductor, all of it. If anyone tries to defy us, kill them all.” Erigor orders.

“Well, look who’s here.” Kageyama says as he walks out of one of the train cars.

“Kageyama. I heard you were coming back aboard this train. That’s quite a bit of wreckage. Care to explain what happened?” Erigor questions.

“Come on, aren’t you interested to see what I brought back with me? Ha ha, I finally managed to break the seal.” Kageyama reveals the flute.

“Excellent.” Erigor is pleased with this.

“Oh yeah.” Yellow and black hooded man says.

“Is that it?” Light red jacket man is unimpressed. 

“Yes, this is it, men. The forbidden lullaby. Originally, it was a tool for casting simple death curses. Useful, but limited. That is until the great black wizard Zeref transformed it into a demon flute. Now it’s song will kill hundreds, thousands at once, lulling them all into endless sleep. And it’s all mine.” Erigor monologues.  

~ Back to Main Group ~

Erza does a sick jump off a cliff with the magic-mobile, Gray's still miraculously hanging on to the roof of the vehicle.

“HEY, SLOW DOWN ERZA! YOU’RE USING TOO MUCH OF YOUR POWER DRIVING THIS THING!” Gray shouts at the Requip mage in concern.

The others are inside the cabin of the magic-mobile as Erza drives. Natsu and (Y/N) sit beside each other as they lean on one another, both Happy and Lumi sit on their respective Dragon Slayer's laps, and Lucy sits beside (Y/N), while Gray holds on for dear life as he's on the roof of the vehicle. 

“I have no choice but to press onward. We’re running out of time. If Erigor gets his hands on this death magic, trust me, lives will be lost.” Erza yells back to Gray as she focuses on the path ahead of her.

“Curse them. What is it they hope to accomplish? This is madness." The Requip mage thinks to herself.

~ Kunugi Station on the Train ~

"And so it begins. Let's move forward, men!" Erigor commands.
