Tia's Greenhouse is a really facinating and somber kind of memory vault for sure, the loneliness it invokes is potent.

The fact Bob's mom seems to have gone thru the same kind of heartbreak he did (I take that picture in the first frame, with the black ribbon, to be one of Tia's late husband) and is basically an example of what could've happened to Bob if he hadn't been found and helped at the time Raz does... it's really chilling.

The last few panels are interesting too. Like in a literal sense the vines are pulling out bottles because that's where she was drinking and hid the bottles. But also is that like? Bob's psychic powers awakening? Or reacting to the energy around him at least?

Is he having a Milla Moment of sensing all the Grief his Mom had been going thru in the same way Milla heard those orphan kids screaming back in PN1? He, Milla, and Compton too actually all do that thing in their memory vaults where they have to cover their ears because everything's Too Loud.

No. Because Nora, Ren, Oscar, Qrow, and honestly Emerald are all main characters too.

We have exactly as many main characters back on Remnant as there are in the other world. They're not going to spend an entire volume without half the main cast, while at the same time skipping over weeks or months of development for that half.

Just to toss this in because I think proof is extremely important, here is the video where Miles says that V9 was thought up before V1. (Timestamp: 3:20)

So, to get onto the ask, while I think bumbleby has been planned since the beginning, this particular statement is not necessarily true.

Miles, Kerry, Kiersi, and Eddy are a team, and things are going to be changed and tweaked from the original plans.

Take Neo for example:

She was a VERY last minute addition that Monty inserted into the show without consulting Miles and Kerry because he saw a genderbent Roman cosplay.

She was originally just supposed to be last minute fanservice, but look at her now. She's become incredibly important to the story.

So, even if they hadn't planned bumbleby from the start, they could have made the executive decision to make it canon because they felt that it would benefit the characters and story better.

Again, I think that it's been planned since V1, but it might not have.

Yeah, definitely a drawback of having the butterfly reused as the "villain" miraculous.

Part of me thinks this is happening because the way the butterfly (and by extension, the peacock) works allow them to be the easiest to be misused, (read: easiest for someone to not get immediately caught using it) since it doesn't require the user to be on the field. Of course, if the writing team had a few more ounces of creativity in them, it wouldn't be hard to have had any of the current miraculous besides the butterfly ALSO be misused (I've actually read a fic where this is the case).
