If I had a nickle for every time I became obsessed with a cocky blonde cartoon boy with an undercut named Hunter who tried to kidnap the heroes...

to make their their abusive uncle/aunt, who they are also very scared of proud of them, until they realized they were a murderer and joined the heroes...

...and also went through a traumatic event that grew their hair out against their will, I'd have 2 nickles. Which isn't a lot. Its just weird because it happened twice, right?

With the show ending abruptly with one season (for now), I've seen many art-pieces from the 101DS fandom depicting their own takes on what happened with Hunter after that fateful night in the battle against her own great aunt, Cruella De Vil.

Malcolm seemed to be fond of ponytails, and I think the hairstyle really suits Hunter. It could ultimately be up to the staff members if they ever find the moment to gather again for a potential 101DS Season 2 though, but a 101DS fan can dream!

In case anyone was wondering I am completely and truly divorced from Disney Descendants canon...Well actually I'm always divorced from canon no matter the fandom I'm writing in. But I digress.

In case you are on the fence on it...

First of all, Ivy lives on the Isle. Even though she’s from a different canon than the Isle of the Lost. Basically, I found out that there were other de Vils, and I figured, Hey, I might as well give Carlos some relatives that do care about him! And that’s how I ended up imagining Ivy and Hunter de Vil living on the Isle along with Carlos and Diego. Scarcely anything else from 101 Dalmatian Street or 101 Dalmatians: The Series applies.

So, Ivy. She’s the only child of Cassius de Vil, Cruella’s younger brother, and his wife, Ivory. They’re both dead now, having died under mysterious circumstances that the other de Vils never talk about.

She’s the oldest of their little group, followed by Hunter, a year younger than her, then Hunter’s brother Diego, a year younger than him, and finally Carlos, about seven months younger than Diego. Since she’s the oldest, they all automatically default to her. She’s in charge. They listen to her and trust her absolutely.

Her full name is Ivana, but no one ever calls her that. Or else.

She is one of the very few females to be born into the de Vil family.

She looks exactly like a younger version of her aunt Cruella. If Carlos is half asleep or disoriented, or startled, Ivy’s appearance will shock and scare him. He tries to hide it.

She’s tall for her age, taller than all her cousins, nearly a head taller than Carlos. (Or maybe Carlos is just short.)

Ivy is the Isle of the Lost’s resident arsonist. She likes to light fires. She likes to light fires a little too much. In fact, this is what her father got sent to the Isle for in the first place-arson. She inherited it from him.

She is also a member of Uma’s crew. This could have made things awkward between her and Carlos, but they agreed with each other that if their respective groups were ever in conflict they would not fight each other, and nothing was to be taken personally. Besides, Carlos isn’t likely to be on the front lines anyway, while Ivy can often be found running pell-mell into the battle first.

It’s not just fire Ivy’s good at setting-it’s also things like fireworks and explosives. Every once in a while, she’ll somehow make her own fireworks (How? It’s a secret) and set them off, arranging them so they spell out things in the sky like “DEVIL” or “DEATH TO AURADON.” Or, since Carlos left, “HI CARLOS.”

Ivy also has a side job. Her side job is, if you pay her enough she will set a fire for you, where you want, when you want. Unless the location is on Uma’s territory or by De Vil Manor. Loyalty comes first, after all.
