Yeah so WWTD Ford would live through the dndnmd "rad" era im curious as to what he would think of that
I was gonna play and be like “well if he lives that long” but I’ve already gone on a really firm record that neither the Pines nor Fidds is going to die in the summer session.
He’d go through about a 19 stage set of varying emotions. Some of the stages:
Being tormented by Stan and Fiddleford relentlessly finding ways to bring Probabilitizle into campaigns
Attempt to tolerate it as he plays
“Eriol doesn’t say anything because Probabilitizle is not a being that exists in this realm.” / “You’re not the DM, F-” / “Probabilitizle is not a being that exists in this realm. Eriol questions his friends why they’re talking to an empty room.”
Rage at realizing all the character the edition lost by turning Every Creature into Something Ridiculous.
Passive Aggressive out of character, in character doing every petty thing possible to the heinously rad npcs.
Actually in on the joke and having fun with it surprisingly, with the characters as complete joke characters for laughs.
This stage is where a cool/intense/dramatic moment is ruined by Probabilitizle somehow and now Ford’s character has a flaw where he instantly attacks anybody that says “tubular” “radical” “diggity” and so on.
Really most of the stages are Ford switching back between various degrees of acceptance and rage, and eventually.... it starts right back up again after step 19.
